The improvements are evident though the stories will never shine as bright as its first. What remains and why we tune in, is for love of character which the cast overwhelms us with. This show is very fortunate that most of the actors and characters they created are stupid proof because there was a lot of it this second season. Its time to transfuse the melodrama and inject it with stellar wranglers worthy of these players time. 31-Dec-2016

The show starts to trudge towards the end of the first season because they've done everything with these characters that they imagined and are now revolving to the beginning and leaving a trail of dirt foreshadowing what I was not looking forward to, pomp trumping heart. 24-Oct-2016

Just finished the first season. Along my adventure with this wondrous troop I got to envision and enjoy a latino family fantastic, an honorable nod to our culture and a Gilmore Girls vibe. Andrea Navedo's hot mama, Ivonne Coll's concerned and determined abuelita and Gina's radiant virgin lend the show its heart, its break and its triumph. Jaime Camil is a daddy squish you really want to be your parent. He's a Desi Arnaz intimation with a most adorable vulnerability. There's also staggering hot swatch, bad girls with good hearts and axes to grind and crimes and murders too thick to swallow. 24-Oct-2016
