Face of Evil (1996)
Tracey Gold scrubbed her good girl identity to become a misunderstood feminist. The character runs away: from home, relationships and deep connections. Gold is a wild kitty playing life like a board game that she controls. Her forgiveness is theft and death. She assumes the identity of a kill to exit town but is tornado'd into becoming her. Shawnee Smith stirred instant empathy by being introverted, persevering, cute, desperate and clumsy. The girls become roommates, make connections, enjoy each other's company as we get to observe them. Mary Lambert directs with minute blood spills and no blows. How does evil get written on your face? She tries to explain that. Shawnee's father was a daddy wet dream for everybody except for the bitch waking him up. Perry King was carved with Kryptonian essence. His Highlander was superb but the tits and gorgeous craggly face were better. Lambert directs an intellectual showdown, the fight was fun TV Trash and Ms. Gold channelled Elizabeth Montgomery to eerie perfection. 11-Apr-2023
Michael Landon: The Father I knew (1999)
They asked a 6'3" player to act like a 5'9" giant dipper. Only women can feel the difference. Boy dreams of his celebrity father becoming a hero at home instead of inserting more strangers into his life. Celebrity boy rebels against father after daddy divorces the family for fresh "baby smell" poultry. The first time I witnessed a race to grandpa's lap crotch was the last time I blinked during any of the games. No offense Little Landon, but if you inherited his crotch, you'll be fine. 27-Feb-2022
Will & Grace (1998-2006)
S1E3. The gay bestie is the only man that gets pretend husband right. Jack was the clown stereotype that exploded. Karen hadn't evolve but she was super bitchy. Grace and Will's beautiful relationship ends when the other sucks the other's partner off on a whim, just like in real life. 10-Dec-2021
Munsters' Scary Little Christmas, The (1996)
It keeps the family home and evokes some nice memories. Lilly looks the best but sounds the weakest. Grandpa got crypt. Herman was overstuffed with the wrong voice. The house was bigger. Spot sucked. The neighbor was military when she needed to be Gladys Kravitz. Marilyn supplied joy for being the ugliest one in the family and stumping the town. The men reacted to Marilyn the way everyone else reacted to her family. They screamed, tripped, fainted and ran. It never gets old. 15-Nov-2021
Married With Children (1987-1997)
I never realized how much female input there was in scouring the marriage of an alpha fucker and our mothers. 15-Apr-2021
Cinderella (1997)
The tale of Cinderella no longer elevates the fantastic script of the virginity slut. It doesn't help minorities either. Brandy makes me question the braids. When does she find the time? They looked expensive. Did she go to a salon? Should Cinderella go anywhere? The music was of a different time whose rhythm few could understand. If all magic things disappear at midnight why didn't the shoe? Brandy faltered musically and charmingly. Why did she need to beg for her food? The songs were not rhythmic or outstanding. The musicality was Romper Room. The cast was spotting, representing and giving 100% but their identities kept them apart. Whitney was the special effect that never extinguished but she wasn't in it enough. Jason Alexander sucked. 13-Feb-2021
Victim of Beauty (1991)
Beauty contestant provokes the kidnapping of her baby sister. Sheriff is in town gunning to bring the monster to justice. He fails as many times as he provokes. Jeri Ryan embodied that special something that makes us scream "how can so many awful things happen to this dear child?" Because it's all true! There are surprises and plotholes but mostly there's Devane's gorgeous ape face and a goddess in disguise (Ryan) burning rubber. The crime investigation sucked. 31-Jan-2021
Judgment (1990)
Thorough telling of the process a family must endure to indict a priest for raping their son. The priests creeped, the church perused, mama lifted while daddy struck and the lawyer slaughtered. The film was more vocal about explaining the details than the "woke" generation could ever handle. 09-Feb-2020
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1996-2003)
The best because I may never anticipate an assurance of excellence. 23-Nov-2018
25,0000 Pyramid, The (1974-1991)
Shelley Smith was a gorgeous brain and the vampire was condescending. 17-Sep-2018
It's a documentation of history. I am awe-struck by how quick witted and intelligent we once were. 09-Aug-2018
Cheers (1982-1993)
Endearing wickedness, courtesy of top notch cast and writers. 21-Jul-2017

Seinfeld (1989 - 1998)
It fell off my top list because it eschewed a lack of humanity in sitcom that spilled into everyday life. 29-Jun-2017
I rewatched all the seasons except the first one because its irrelevant. The second season is not so great either. There are two and half seasons of greatness and then it coasts and tires. Waiting for something funny and smart to arise again becomes insufferable. Larry David wrote the worst "fuck you" finale ever but who is it directed to? The audience, production or the cast? That is the question. 19-Sep-2015
Friends (1994 - 2004)
Were they inclusive? No. Did they insult us? No.
They are tops because they sought the "A" in performance, geniality and durability. They made us laugh, cheer and according to many, gay. These are the friends you want to spend a lifetime with. 29-Jun-2017
When Time Expires (1997)
Sci-fi the tale is rendered but not fully captured due to anemic convention. Grieco and Hamill are easy to look at but are the only protein being served. 22-May-2017
Simpsons, The (1989-)
Bright, endearing and colorful sabotaged by no end. 15-Feb-2017
