Superman & Lois (2021-)

I dipped in the CW DC waters before and I almost drowned. A loyalty to Superman waved me back. Tyler Hoechlin embodies the dutiful and conflicted alien come to earth to save the loathsome humans from themselves and to birth one or two with a lousy reporter. At least they're boys. Yay! Young boys get a storyline and maybe super powers! Awesome. We are not being ignored. I want to see all the deviant things we can come up with. Super orgasms would be a hilarious start. The sap is extra cum messing up our hair and it has the vibrations of a pusher but I liked the action and was happily surprised. I always wanted to see that. Superman is as boring as the person who recreates him. 25-Feb-2021
Miranda (2009-20015)

You can successfully write stupid if the cast is willing to forego all boundaries and accept the stupidity in all of us. It can be unrealistic, silly but fun. There are more misses than hits but when they do, they are uproarious. Kisses to Queen Kong and a supportive staff, cunning to break out. 14-Feb-2021
Cinderella (1997)

The tale of Cinderella no longer elevates the fantastic script of the virginity slut. It doesn't help minorities either. Brandy makes me question the braids. When does she find the time? They looked expensive. Did she go to a salon? Should Cinderella go anywhere? The music was of a different time whose rhythm few could understand. If all magic things disappear at midnight why didn't the shoe? Brandy faltered musically and charmingly. Why did she need to beg for her food? The songs were not rhythmic or outstanding. The musicality was Romper Room. The cast was spotting, representing and giving 100% but their identities kept them apart. Whitney was the special effect that never extinguished but she wasn't in it enough. Jason Alexander sucked. 13-Feb-2021
Victim of Beauty (1991)

Beauty contestant provokes the kidnapping of her baby sister. Sheriff is in town gunning to bring the monster to justice. He fails as many times as he provokes. Jeri Ryan embodied that special something that makes us scream "how can so many awful things happen to this dear child?" Because it's all true! There are surprises and plotholes but mostly there's Devane's gorgeous ape face and a goddess in disguise (Ryan) burning rubber. The crime investigation sucked. 31-Jan-2021
Sister, The (2020)

Man and his mate bury man wife sister. Mate later returns to inform husband that they need to move the body because of digging. Russell Tovy's choo choo train is fully equipped. He is frantic, deceiving, psychotic and the face of many successful emotions. The mate is annoying but the cast is bright. When the story reaches preposterous, the air bursts out of the balloon. 25-Jan-2021
A Teacher (2020-)

I keep wondering if the punishment would have been less traumatic had they not been caught. 21-Jan-2021
The consequences of an illicit affair between a female adult and a developing teen is that she equips him with a superpower. She gets punished. He becomes a sexual bandido because she taught him how pussy works. That is one hell of a superpower to lay on a kid and the episode exploits it as much as it clarifies it. I became confused and disoriented by the idea that if you enjoy it and it gives you street cred, it's not that bad. 10-Dec-2020
This happens when we're no longer allowed to slut-shame. 30-Nov-2020
S1E3. There is a warning at the end and the beginning of the show there is also also a contact for abused twinks to unload the free pussy they've been scoring for months. "Geez, it was fun for a while, but now she's acting like my mom. I don't care if she goes to go jail. Where do I sign?" The female teacher is the new priest. It's not her fault. Her husband is buying shit without her permission and his dick is no longer pink. She's helpless. Kate Mara adds the lemon to the all you can eat fish fry as Nick Robinson preserves a crack addled twink for dessert. Baby looks tired. It smells like a headline that caught your eye once and you only remembered it when it swung back around. All we can hope for is lots of sex and violence. This show makes you want to go out and break things. 28-Nov-2020
Dr. Seuss' The Grinch: Musical 2020)

The one time of the year where we show amnesty to a child predator banished to the caves because of a holiday. He turns green from a life of despair and lack of sexual perversity. Poor Max. Matthew Morrison is hated for his perfect curls, right amount of body hair, a nice gut and Leah Michelle professionalism and he knows it. Perfect casting for the The Grinch. The musical doesn't suck because of him, it is saved by him. A professional never sweats, never disconnects and never stops giving it their all. The mask lets him down but daddy was fully encapsulated. We hate daddy for calculating our pleasure but we'd eat it ASAP if we were caught in a forest or in a bathroom by accident. Wink. Wink. The songs are very outdated. Kids can't eat all the sweets that fill them. They don't know what sweets are and their parents can't remember why they banned them. It is a Whoville delicacy. The white bear meat looked really tasty too. Anyway, the pederast wants to destroy Whoville Christmas to honor the anniversary of when he got caught molesting a child that wasn't related. Cindy Lou saves the day, a green man woody makes a comeback, they all exchange presents they can't return and a molester makes it back home. 10-Dec-2020
Dead To Me (2019-)

All coincidences aside, its power resonated from the word, the emotion and the performance. Ms. Applegate rocketed to combustion. Good job. 20-May-2020
I was riveted by Christina's triumph in irritation and kickback, profiling an uneventful marriage founded on the success of falsehoods. James Marsden illustrates the beauty of an asshole. 30-May-2019
Thing About Harry, The (2020)

Generic romcom distinguished by queerness. It works best when exploring the stereotypes we fall into and avoid. Pan preference is introduced and established as a gay threat because no insecure man wants his ideal to have more romantic options than himself. The hunk swells stiff and the major bitches bitchily. The film loses so much without actor combustion. They are vying for our attention instead of inhabiting their personas. In a fairytale someone needs to get saved. Political enforcement does not allow vulnerability to empowered characters because the movement worked really hard to create it. A swinging soundtrack, amiable cast, "Up" cuteness and worth following. 06-Mar-2020
Stranger, The (2020)

The wows were cross-stitched to perfection. 05-Feb-2020
I'm only two episodes in but I think it's about a future where snitching trends...like, "save the world" kind of..."trendy." I'm intrigued. 02-Feb-2020
Invitation To Hell (1984)

It was a film better tolerated in the present but still a victim of its limitations.
There are golden nuggets:
Wes Craven kept it tight. The spacesuit caper and some action sequences spit art
Soleil Moon Frye does a spot-on imitation of Golem, before his time
La Lucci is a playful and committed demonic force. Tacky with hilarity, bitchiness and nerve
Robert Urich was pretty, in charge and in demand.

Earthquake Bird (2019)

The heat emanating from the threesome should have sufficed to generate a clearcut mystery on its own but inserting the crime interrogation, downgraded it. I stayed for the vibrant actresses and the sexy terminator. 29-Nov-2019
Raising Dion (2019-)

I delighted in Jason Ritter finally putting those asshole tics to use but the upgrade was for mama. No superhero is flying around her house until she says so! 22-Nov-2019
When mama discusses the mental incarceration of racism to a son that's becoming physically stronger, my negative comments became obliterated. The writers ventured to give us a modern mama willing to be sensitively honest with her child and equip him for life's challenges. Respect. 20-Oct-2019
A subject worth exploring in a culture historically evaded. It moves better when it tightens the reins but it's self awareness, interspersed soundtrack along with sprinkles of bleeding sap, drain it. 18-Oct-2019
Little Mermaid Live, The (2019)

The detail I most remember from "The Little Mermaid," was how her hair moved. If you can't establish an artistic craft to convey that, the art is lost. She flew when she needed to swim.
My treasure list:
I haven't seen so much visible invisible wire since "I Love Lucy." Decorating them might have helped
The octaves were lower than the crowd cheer. Amplification was a problem
A hologram of the improbable fish might have sufficed instead of plastic muppets
Graham Philips proved a singing alpha as Auli'i Cravalho expressed hard work
John Stamos' cook was destined to fail even if he had done it in a thong
Shaggy was feeling the beat but something spooked him and he started whispering
You shouldn't stumble. Even a shark shows grace underwater
Having the cartoon enact emotions whilst the live mostly sang is lazy
The deed was cast. The commercial for a beloved classic was born because they knew that after this, we'd flee to the original material. Magic! 08-Nov-2019
Wounds (2019)

It's exhilarating to watch Armie Hammer unravel but the film's obscurity abandons him. 19-Oct-2019
