Dax Shepard Bought a Giant Truck After Being Called A '6.57' By Hasan Minhaj

In December 2019, Hasan Minhaj gave an interview to Vanity Fair, in which he rightfully claimed that men of color are judged by a harsher standard in Hollywood than their white coworkers when it comes to how they look. “You gotta have, like, the V-taper in your abs if you’re gonna be Asian,” whereas there was “this whole movement of approachable white dudes.” He was obviously correct and should have said it. He was also asked to rate Dax Shepard, who had previously called Minhaj a nine out of ten on a completely separate podcast episode of his show, Armchair Expert. (Who knows why!) Shepard, in Minhaj’s eyes, was not a nine. He was a “6.57.”

That interview is making the rounds again, for reasons that are mostly unclear, but can be chalked up to “Twitter is bored.” Concurrent to this renewed interest in Dax Shepard’s looks, the man went out and bought himself a very big truck. I’m not kidding, he literally bought a truck the size of a house. One could move their entire family into it, and then build a guest house in the back. By U.N. standards, it might even qualify as its own autonomous country, that’s how big this fucker is.

Baby Yoda Canceled Amid Accusations of Genocide

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. That also turns out to be true of the tiny.

Baby Yoda, who one year ago today cozied into the hearts of Star Wars fans with his bottomless eyes, fuzzy head, and adorable cooing, has invoked genuine social media wrath for last week's episode of The Mandalorian, in which the mystical infant remorselessly snacked on the eggs of an endangered galactic species.

Whether this is serious or silly depends, as Obi-Wan Kenobi would put it, on "a certain point of view."

In Chapter 10 of the Disney+ show, titled “The Passenger,” Pedro Pascal's bounty hunter agrees to ferry an amphibious alien woman known only as “Frog Lady” to a swampy distant world so she can fertilize her canister of eggs, which floated in the brine like peeled apricots. (Usually this show conjures memories of Boba Fett, but these called to mind boba tea.)

Majority of Gays Are Possessed by Ghosts, So-Called Study Says

According to a bizarre article published on the Spiritual Science Research Foundation's website (which at the time of writing has since been taken down), an overwhelming majority of gay people are, apparently, possessed by some form of ghostly spirits — 85 percent, to be exact — and these spirits are the driving force behind our gayness.

"The main reason behind the gay orientation of some men is that they are possessed by female ghosts, and the female ghost in them is attracted to other men," the Spiritual Science Research Foundation wrote in its sham study, as reported by PinkNews.

Nicole revealed to her angered Instagram fans that she, in fact, does indulge in click-bait content but, only for her family. Nicole confessed that she works “for a company that posts articles” to her account and that she gets “paid per so many clicks.” To fans who questioned her for posting about Azan’s death, the 90 Day Fiancé celeb had replied with “Hassan is alive and well.” Nicole, who was also accused of operating Azan’s unusually inactive IG account, had claimed, “Hassan is the only one who goes to the gym and posts fitness inspiration on his IG @justazan.”

90 Day Fiancé: How Armando's Ex Wife Died In A Car Crash

Now, the 90 Day Fiancé celeb is letting his fans know more about his late wife's car accident. He took to his Instagram (via Cheat Sheet) and explained what happened on the day of his late wife's death. He wrote, "This message is to clear up my daughter's mother's passing. I am addressing this to clear up any confusion as I did not want to go into specifics on the show but now I find it necessary." He continued, "My then-wife and I had been separated for a few months before her passing for a number of reasons, one of which was anger issues she was working on." He further told his 135K IG followers that they were trying to be friends while they were separated. He said, "During our separation we were working on rebuilding our friendship again…During the divorce proceedings and on the evening of her passing a disagreement took place over finances and I thought it would be best to leave the situation and return back to my home." However, while he was driving back, he got hit by another car from behind.

White Gays, Please Stop Using Anti-Racism as a Photo Op

In what’s shaping up to be one of the most counterproductive social media activism campaigns since millions of people posted plain black squares to their Instagram feeds, a legion of largely (though not exclusively) white Twitter gays have attempted to “reclaim” a hashtag most commonly associated with the Proud Boys, a white nationalist hate group.

"white gays “reclaiming” a phrase rooted in white supremacy is very spot on. it was actually on my 2020 bingo card. i’m two away from bingo."

"How many of the white gays "reclaiming" the #proudboys tag you wanna guess have "no Blacks" in their grindr profile"

As many have noted, turning the name of a Southern Poverty Law Center-designated hate group into a photo-op is not just politically empty; it actively obscures the very real presence of white supremacy in the LGBTQ+ community. The trend is a display of vanity masquerading as organizing. It is a manifestation of privilege to believe — and then act on the belief — that one can “reclaim” a potent symbol of white supremacy by reformulating it in the context of Gay Pride. You can claim that “love wins” and that the more powerful way to be a “proud boy” is living out and proud, but the reality is that for millions of Black and brown folks, this is still a terror organization that actively threatens their lives, livelihoods, and right to exist in America.

Joe Biden is panned on social media after the Democrat candidate pulls out his phone and plays 'Despacito' ahead of his speech at the Hispanic Heritage Month in Florida

Joe Biden was mocked by viewers last night after pulling out his phone and playing the megahit 'Despacito' at a Hispanic campaign event in Florida.

But critics accused Biden of 'pandering' and mocked him for playing a song whose title translates as 'Slowly' - evoking Donald Trump's nickname 'Slow Joe'.

Trump himself shared an edited video in which the song was changed to 'Fuck The Police' by N.W.A., with the president asking: 'What is this all about?'.

Oscar for wokeness: Anger in Hollywood as it is announced films will have to meet 'representation and inclusion' requirements if they are eligible to win Best Picture

Film stars raged at 'Woke Hollywood' last night after the Oscars announced that movies will have to meet diversity targets to be eligible to win Best Picture from 2024.

The Academy Awards shake-up means films hoping to win the top prize will have to hire more black, female, LGBT or disabled cast and crew or address themes that affect those communities.

The move comes after months of race protests in the US and years of pressure from activists who have called for a boycott of the glitzy event.

'The new RULES to qualify for Best Picture are dictatorial... anti-artist... Hollywood you're swinging so far left you're bumping into your own ass.'

Fellow actor Nick Searcy said: 'The Oscars used to be, just like the movies, something we all shared.

'Woke Hollywood turned it all into a weapon they could use against anyone who disagreed with their politics. This is how Hollywood destroyed itself, like the NBA, NFL and MLB just did.'

Film blogger Sasha Stone said: 'If the Academy inclusion mandate makes marginalized people feel they have a better chance getting employed I think that's a success.

'But I don't like that productions will be disqualified if they don't meet the demands. Just not the purpose of the Oscars.'

'They will portray you however they want': Married At First Sight star Aleks Markovic slams the announcement of 'wellness managers' joining the series

Former Married At First Sight star Aleks Markovic has slammed the introduction of new 'wellness managers' during productions on the series.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Sunday, Aleks was blunt about believing the new mental health measure wouldn't be very effective.

'At the end of the day they're going to portray you the way they want and fuck up someone's life regardless,' she said.

It comes amid news Endemol Shine Australia has drastically changed its mental health practices following a slew of complaints from reality stars.

It comes after Channel Seven was forced to pay a compensation claim to House Rules star Nicole Prince after it was found she suffered a 'psychological injury'.

Men compete to impregnate a woman on this deranged new reality show

Remember when Love Is Blind was the most extreme reality TV show anyone could envisage? Getting engaged sight-unseen was just crazy and hardcore enough to make cringey and absolutely addicting entertainment…

Well, FOX has outdone itself with its newest reality show, which began airing at the end of May. Labor of Love is a game show where men compete for the privilege of impregnating a woman. Yes, you read that right. As if 2020 hasn’t already proven society is on the verge of collapse, TV execs decided America needed a dating show that sounds creepily reminiscent of The Handmaid’s Tale’s rapey, dystopian plot.

Shut down all police movies and TV shows. Now.

For a century, Hollywood has been collaborating with police departments, telling stories that whitewash police shootings and valorizing an action-hero style of policing over the harder, less dramatic work of building relationships with the communities cops are meant to serve and protect. There’s a reason for that beyond a reactionary streak hiding below the industry’s surface liberalism. Purely from a dramatic perspective, crime makes a story seem consequential, investigating crime generates action, and solving crime provides for a morally and emotionally satisfying conclusion.

The result is an addiction to stories that portray police departments as more effective than they actually are; crime as more prevalent than it actually is; and police use of force as consistently justified. There are always gaps between reality and fiction, but given what policing in America has too often become, Hollywood’s version of it looks less like fantasy and more like complicity.

Priests now shooting (water) guns at babies and food

At long last, we’re happy to share some good news for anyone looking to have an old man shoot their baby in the face with a water pistol: The Catholic Church, surprising us all with its willingness to embrace change, is ready to bless food and infants alike by taking up watery arms in God’s name.
