The whore of Frankenstein. The direction was stylish and the visuals were artistic but the script needed punching. The backstory was more interesting than the Frankenstein repeat. I wanted less of that. None of the actors clicked in the setting and Ruffalo's mumbly accent was troubling. TG he got naked. Emma Stone played the recovering retard like anyone would. She was okay but she didn't ignite the fire that would make men want to imprison her. Ramy's wedding pants were awful. I couldn't identify with a woman who is allowed a smooth awakening because she is trapped in a make believe world. She didn't know the value of a dollar, a meal, a man, rent, a closet, bordello gangbangs and logic. Stepping out on the town in lingerie would have been disastrous and mind altering in the real world. She is not a hero. She is like every other woman trapped in a setting that a man built. 08-Mar-2024

Hunchback OF Notre Dame, The (1996) 
Laid out like an adult novel that kids can understand. There is no better marriage than broadway and Disney. The score may not be everlasting but it's made up of raw talent and emotion. The songs and singers soared. The animation splashed with celebratory colors while hellish fire represented its demise. Quasi is a molded adult broken by a murdered mother and a crippled body. He is adopted by the man who wronged him, controlled him and gaslit into hiding the monster inside of himself. The subjects are very adult. The adoptive father rules the town with sexual and racist motivation. Gypsies are taking over. The crime rate is through the roof and they are to blame. A Festival of Fools sets up the threads that make all the characters intersect for a grande finale. The monster convinces himself he can attend. A military captain has just been initiated. Esmeralda seduces all the men with her gypsy dance and her unapologetic heart. Evil master Frollo becomes obsessed with dominating her. The good men compete with each other to protect her. Everything is big, everything is right but it begged for a slow down. I know, the kiddies would've exploded in their seats but the adults might have watched it again. Invitation to a world we know little about, so they can explain themselves in high educated detail. Before an understanding of what the music fuck they are talking about, the film shuts us out. Tar created a family, success, working friends, an orchestra and a roomful of prizes and adoration. The director spent more time educating us about the mad professional rather than explain why her private life was so robotic. Mapping a character's career to establish how their mind works keeps audience attention until the snooze button pops up. An orgasmic technical achievement to its creator but it was bupkis to the people they were trying to reach. There was a lascivious side to Tar that was lightly explored. Lady Blanchett was the interest, the talent and the launch. I would have quit earlier had she not convinced me that I would witness art. She is art. Most of her gestures were off base. Her conducting shocked me. Are we supposed to cut in before the next instrument? Tar gets accused of misconduct, her sexual proclivities locked in a bottle unlike her rage. Cate was privy to a character's truth and conveyed it to the camera. Brava! 13-May-2023
When we were growing up he was a fixture and an idea that sexually ambiguous people exist but to our family they were just flamboyant gays. Walter Mercado was a creation of a person that wanted to reflect passion, joy and pain. Audiences were passionate about his joy but never questioned his pain. In the end, we get to see why. Growing moppet with a grudge against her invasive nanny, the privileged world that enslaves her and the widowed daddy that ignores her, retaliates. 12 year old booby traps a private box with written warnings to pique the witch's interest. It explodes. Opening the box proves the nanny's invasion of privacy and that the witch wasn't what daddy thought she was. They hire a female psychiatrist to observe and treat the child's behavior and change it for the better. Moppet warms to common sense, things with daddy improve and moppet is whirling in family heaven. A fourth wheel, a money grubbing whore, tears the moppet's fairy tale walls down and rebuilds them with shields of female entitlement by trying to marry the rich old bastard. Bitchfest! 01-Jan-2022

It opens with a sober mythological tale. The action sequences lift our feet off the floor. Awkafina is refreshing. She makes corny scenarios funny. Simu Liu is a ripped pocket ass kicker. The story crumbles when daddy issues arise and Marvel wokeness and grandstanding are inserted. Motivations are vague, the writing can't keep up with the tech and by the end, the movement becomes an oncoming train. 21-Nov-2021

Dying earth has programmed younglings to survive in space, reproduce, have children that will procreate and establish the next generation of earthlings to inhabit a distant planet. A Lord Of The Flies mentality hits the younglings when a power shift has them aborting their docile medical dosage and predatory sexuality becomes dominant. Tye Sheridan exuded Tom Hardy fumes, Colin Farrell was pitch perfect American and Lilly Rose Depp showed promise. It had limited resources to acquire knowledge from. They sent only one elder to fly a ship and the teens were too woke to identify half of their problems. How can they identify things they've never experienced? It boasts thrills from better accomplishments yet I was entertained. 16-Oct-2021
Wealthy cousin moves away, gets married, sends cryptic letters to his younger cousin denouncing his wife before dying under questionable circumstances. Richard Burton plays a princely cousin hellbent on unmasking the greedy widow. Will love conquer vengeance? Olivia de Havilland was a saintly schemer with exquisite manners and sarcasm. Richard Burton pranced around like a Shakespearean athlete ripping his heart out to the strings of a magnificent woman that's impossible to avenge. The legends reenact what may have happened to his dead cousin and the irony is stupendous. 28-Sep-2021

He drives his car into a truck, gets a better face, detaches from life and gets a second chance to make the same mistakes. Faye Dunaway was beautifully confident as the office slut that could reduce a happily married daddy to mush and make him pay for it. Deborah Kerr exposed her soul and sexuality as a wife waiting for a man that's never going to be there. Kirk Douglas roars as a man obsessed with orgasms and baby smells. Elia Kazan opened up as a director and tried new things (good and bad). It is a detailed examination of how love, sex, beauty and insanity correlate. 13-Sep-2021

These parasites keep him sane and fucking. The boys with grand dreams become Steve Driver and Tom Dong. The friendship suffers from favoritism, jealousy and betrayal. Gangbanging the girlfriend tore a nerve, racist remarks cracked a spot, and the cameos hit their marks. It's cheapness adds to its' value. It smells like porn, your feet stick to the floor and the prettiest thing in the room is the popcorn machine. It's a true cis story that would translate well as a gay "great American novel." Farmer's daughter is in full bloom and her scent is driving all the boys/men crazy. The most beautiful boy in the world yanks the flower from its stem, treats her real nice and gets engaged to her before his deployment. Claudelle's mother is the most disgusted wife in America. She loathes the hard work, 20 years of false promises and humiliating poverty. Claudelle's boy may be beautiful but he's a sucker farmer like daddy. Mother wanted better for her daughter. She deserved gifts, pampering and immunity. Girl doesn't care he's poor. She's in love. Daddy agrees. He is a romantic loser who thinks that memories of courting his wife are enough to survive hardship. Beautiful boy spends a year in the army, romantic letters ensue and tragic news upsets her future. The town boys/men pounce. She negates then accepts. Her scent becomes toxic. Every present a reminder of how far she went. Her room was stacked. Dad humiliates himself by allowing his boss to discuss marriage to his daughter without much confrontation. Mother claimed the boss was the reason they were poor but quickly changes her mind when he comes a courting. I'm assuming that Claudelle slept with every father and son in town except for her dad and the Reverend. My mouth was agape at every sharp turn. Claudelle did as mother said and used sex to liberate herself of men because men are victims of promises they can't keep. 20-Apr-2021
A beautifully crafted animation about unlocking traditional magic. Two brothers accidentally cast a spell that resurrects half of dad. No head or heart just crotch, ass, legs and feet. He profiles like a predator. He taps their shoes to announce to his victims they've been found.
My version: boy triggers a spell that brings complete daddy back. Hey, daddy's cool. Blah blah blah. If they want to keep him they have 24 hours to venture out and make it happen. They bond. They have beautiful memories and grand adventures without having to endure memorizing daddy's crotch and ass for 24 hours. Takeoff! Did cartoon daddy walk off the set in a huff? It gets down to business. Three practicing high school witches need a fourth to obtain their full powers. Enter nondescript beauty and all their dreams come true. We celebrate and we vow then realize that like masturbation, the power is ours. People don't share well. Too many ideas that were worth exploring remained untouched. Nicholas Galitzine is worth enthralling but the reasoning didn't make sense. He was too infatuated to warrant one. Though the twists were a treat, it needed revenge craft.
