All Of Us Strangers (2023) Woof

The movie deserves full attention to catch all its nuances. The boys smoked, the family spoke and the setting threatened. Scott never deviated from pain and it helped with the surprises. Mescal loomed large with childlike characteristics and sensitivity. Hulk and Dr. Banner. The sex scenes sufficed. I wanted to squeeze Scott's adorable little face and do anything else with the other one. Oh, and dad too. They could have tongued more to make it more realistic, though. What gay men fear is what they become. Alone with their thoughts. 28-Feb-2024

Saltburn (2023) Howl

Society encourages mental illness to mingle so more people can catch it. The mystery is set up beautifully, actors are undemanding and sites are divine. Is this a sequel to Killing of a Sacred Deer? The nod was a cute wink. The cast was invested in inhabiting words, statuses, empathy and star quality. Barry Keoghan was set loose as a guest of hierarchy that investigates more than he should. The cure for anorexia is having disgusting sex. The best way to maintain a friendship is to crowd them. Barry is brave with his surprises. He gave me a hardon but then I replaced him with that french dude and I came. 25-Dec-2023

My Policeman (2022) Whimper

A very soft policeman. Harry Styles keeps it monotone and unenthusiastic. He pants oddly during blowjobs and he can't kiss for shit. His "s's" and "t's" were so crisp that I thought his accent was fake. I wanted to shake him. I came in the first few minutes and never got a hardon again. I felt like leaving so many times but felt obligated to stay. We prefer to talk about our olden times instead of setting a better path with a real story from today. We can be honest about the past without it burning us in the present. The laws have changed but we have not. It's 50s Britain, where cops live in Tarduses, aging twinks can become cops, twink cops get picked up by perverts and an innocent girl trashes her entire life so her husband and their bff can enjoy gay sex. Emotions run cold. Everything is so quiet and unassuming that you sometimes believe one of the lovers might be serial. P.S.: gays are only miserable at the end of their lives, all else is just fun. 05-Nov-2022

Fire Island (2022) Arf

It depicts our shortcomings in a sanitized environment. There is no outside telling us we suck so we are in a safe space. It paced itself naturally as not to impose. The cast was pleasantly supportive. The writing pondered some truth but resolved most of it with prom com magic. My Fire Island experience was rated XXX for rampant sex, sissy violence and "fuck you" friends. Family Shmamily. 05-Jun-2022

Bat, The (1959) Arf

Lesbian writer moves into a fully staffed mansion that quits once "The Bat" killer strikes town. Some of the pestilence Agnes Moorhead has to rid her mansion of is the Queen of Horror, Vincent Price. "The Bat" killer has only one claw. They couldn't afford a seamstress? Silly shenanigans aside, it's about a famous artist on the down low living a glorious life with her lover as her maid. Brilliant. That part. 02-Nov-2021

Fear Street Part 3: 1666 (2021) Whimper

Mythology overload. Lesbian witches are a creation of man's impotence and disregard for boundaries. The curse is complimentary. 21-Jul-2021

Mapplethorpe, The Director's Cut - (2021) Arf

A history making photographer tries to cancel the soullessness in art. Gay men in denial, destroying lives in their quest to appear wholesome and delicious for the ultimate dick. The first thing we learn is how to suck, the second, to fuck, third, pray for more and lastly, die a disease riddled and drug infested death. The dots are perfect for great gay sexual simulation but the direction is uncomfortable with it. Mapplethorpe sought perfection in a world that punished him for it. The movie punishes us. 18-Jul-2021

Space Station 76 (2014) Woof

I watched expecting to find any reason to turn it off. It didn't feel like comedy but the players were so adamant on cultivating their characters that it gets downplayed as a natural part of life. They live in space, sometimes alone and sometimes with family. Some have seen earth, others have not.

Highlights of the future:

We still have to roll it, light it and smoke it ourselves

The robots seem like leftovers from the NINTENDO R.O.B. collection

The future has picked the 60s as their futuristic style

The tech must have been collected from PeeWee's Playhouse

It's clean

There is only one child in the colony and it plagues her with panic. Her mother wants to deny her joy. Her pets keep dying because mommy hamsters have a tendency to bite their babies' heads off. Is it because she feels they don't have the skills to survive? That's how mommy explained it. Liv Tyler is the newbie getting accustomed to living with strangers and doing her best not to let anyone down. Her boss (Patrick Wilson) is hyper, mentally unravelled and suicidal because he can't stop jerking off to the Grinch. That was funny. Matt Bomer is married to lonely child's mother. She loathes the newbie because she has gained her daughter's affection and she likes her man. Bomer does a "pretty" acceptable job of being man trash.

A story about space that has nothing to do with nerdy technical explanations. I liked that. 13-Dec-2020

I Am Jonas (2019) Woof

Allowing youthful discretions to define the gay fuck-up you become in life. The boys (young and old) are peak representation and the film strives to be authentic. 14-Mar-2020

Whirlwind (2007) Whimper

The men are pulled right out of the gay bible and are shot up close to hide background restrictions. The cast was diverse and capable. Friends and lovers are infiltrated and defrocked by a vindictive serial fucker. It should have been fun but the soup was bland. They spent a sizable amount of time talking about big dick and no time exposing it. 04-Feb-2020

Beach Rats (2017) Arf

The lengths gay boys will meander to discharge closeted sex and remain doped. A waste of pretty with nothing relevant to say. 29-Dec-2019

Postcards From London (2018) Whimper

Whores assessing that man needs art to turn on. It's an excuse for filmic art to celebrate human art (Harris Dickinson) but it doesn't know how. 03-Jan-2020

God's Own Country (2017) Woof

Inheriting a life that your parents couldn't conclude. It's responsibility versus ideology. The farm is an educational revelation and the boys are rough like the terrain. Like in real life, it's all that and a cup of tenderness. 08-Oct-2019

Rocketman (2019) Woof

There are tidbits I didn't know. Child genius, warped sensibilities and family hypocrisy. The catalog is immense as is the concept of each song. Many odes to so many things only we can remember. The razzle dazzle is there, the actor siphons the legend's anger and the music remains inspired. A life worth celebrating. 05-Jul-2019
