Jim Carrey slammed for saying female reporter was only thing left to do on his ‘bucket list’
Jim Carrey was slammed on Twitter Wednesday for telling a woman journalist in an interview that she was the only thing left for him to do on his “bucket list.”
Carrey, 58, was being interviewed about his role in “Sonic the Hedgehog” by Charlotte Long of Heat Magazine when the journalist asked Carrey about his career.
“In the film, Sonic has a bucket list. I was wondering, after all you’ve done in your career and in your life, is there anything still left on your bucket list?” asked Long, who posted the interview on Twitter.
“Just you,” Carrey responds, as Long laughs and covers her mouth. “That’s it, it’s all done now.”
Ricky Gervais unloads on Hollywood liberals ahead of Academy Awards, highlights their hypocrisy
Responding to a fan who asked Gervais what his best joke would be if he were hosting Sunday's Academy Awards, Gervais said he would highlight the hypocrisy embedded in calls from Hollywood celebrities for equality.
"'I can't wait to hear all your inspirational speeches about equality, and it's great that the 3 hours you're here tonight is the only time your badly paid migrant house staff will get some time off to sleep this week,'" Gervais responded.
Kobe Bryant Takes One Big Leap for the NBA on Gay Slurs
The major sports leagues don't have the best reputation when it comes to gay players in the locker room, or gay slurs on the playing field, or much of anything with gay rights these days, really. But Kobe Bryant, in a sudden reversal for himself and perhaps a growing trend for stars in the notoriously conservative NBA, may have single-handedly changed that. In the early hours of Monday morning, in the shadow of the Grammys on Twitter, as all-star week began to bring the spotlight back to his league, the outspoken Laker chastised two fans for using "you're gay" as an insult in at-replies to the newfound Twitter favorite.
Charlamagne tha God Gifts DJ Envy a Mold of His Butt
It can be difficult sometimes figuring out what to give someone for the holidays, but the best approach is to try and pick up on clues that tell you what that person wants. Charlamagne tha God claims to have done just that when he presented his The Breakfast Club co-host DJ Envy with a gift on his first day back to the show from vacation.
"It's no secret that Envy flirts with me constantly on this radio [show]," Charlamagne said as Envy denied his claim. "He constantly flirts with me. I tried to get to this to him before the holidays 'cause I know he missed me over the past few weeks."
Zachary Levi Wasn't Sure If He Wanted to Live Anymore, Battled Feelings of Failure Before Shazam! Role Changed His Life
Zachary Levi may have had a super hero save his life. The actor previously best known for NBC's Chuck was cast as Shazam! in the DC Comics big screen universe and now admits that the casting helped him find a new will to live. After struggling to find work while chasing his dream of being an actor, Levi began to doubt himself and look down at his failures along the way. When he seemed to be reaching rock bottom, he turned down an opportunity to try out for the Shazam! role out of fear of failing, however, a little bit of self help through therapy and other avenues convinced him to give it a shot -- and his life is changed forever for it.
"This last year has been fascinating. The last few, actually," Levi said on Instagram. "Two years ago today I was moving to Toronto, for the 4th time 3 years, to begin working on [Shazam!], one of the single greatest gifts I’ve ever been handed. Ironically, just 4 months prior, I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to live anymore. My goals, and visions, and hopes, and dreams, and therefore expectations for myself, have always been a lot."

People Are Freaking Out About the Dicks on TV This Week
I’m just going to put it out there: I don’t watch enough television as someone who writes about pop culture. To be fair to myself though, there’s too much television to watch. One just can’t know all of the good shows on television. Nor which shows may not be good but that you should watch because … reasons. Thank god for Twitter.
The thing about Twitter is that when something good is happening on a show, someone’s going to tweet about it. And a lot. Whether it’s the fact that the plot is good, or there was just one epic scene, someone’s going to post it. Many shows, particularly on Netflix, count on this as a way that possible fans will discover the show. But sometimes it’s not the whole plot, it’s not an entire scene … it’s just … a clip. Or a still. Especially when its explicit.
Jason Derulo Angry After Instagram Removes His Revealing Underwear Photo: 'I Can't Help My Size'
Jason Derulo can’t believe Instagram took down his steamy viral photo.
On Tuesday, the “Talk Dirty” singer, 30, shared a screenshot of the notice he received from the social media platform, which claimed the content went against Instagram’s guidelines.
Derulo also took the opportunity to protest the removal by reposting the particular photo, which went viral last month after fans couldn’t help but notice the visible outline of the star’s crotch under his bottoms — a trending topic Derulo himself enjoyed participating in online.

Odell Beckham Jr hits back at homophobes mocking his Calvin Klein shoot
The American football star, who currently plays as the wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns, has faced a string of anti-gay comments on his latest Instagram post, which sees him posing in his underwear for a new Calvin Klein campaign.
“Boy look gay as hell,” wrote one Instagram user, while another added: “He low key gay tho.”
Responding to the comments and rumours about his sexuality – which have followed him for years now – Odell re-affirmed that he is indeed straight and said he shouldn’t need to keep addressing his sexuality.
“Yallll chilllll mann damnnnn! It be a lot of y’all sayin sus and alll the other comments that realllly be a direct reflection of who u are! Im straight! Like beyond it,” he wrote.
“If I sit here and defend myself y’all gon say im tryna defend myself, if I sit there and say nothin yalll gon say ‘seee he didn’t say anything.’ I’m good wit me. Which is dumb straightttt… Period.
Cory Booker said he will "fight to protect" black transgender women, and this is so important
Last night, June 26th, 10 Democratic presidential candidates kicked off the 2020 race for the party’s nomination. The gathered politicians answered questions on topics ranging from reproductive rights to immigration reform. And Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey took a stand for LGBTQ Americans, including black transgender women.
According to a transcript of the debate from NBC News, Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard broached the subject of LGBTQ rights by discussing the Equality Act, which would prohibit discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation. But Booker argued that supporting this bill wasn’t enough. The New Jersey senator pointed out that LGBTQ people—especially black transgender people—are too often the victims of violence.
Dave Bautista Slams Priest Calling for Pride Month Boycott: 'You Don't Speak for Most Catholics'
Dave Bautista had no time for a Catholic priest denouncing Pride Month.
On June 1, the first day of Pride Month celebrating the LGBTQ community, Rhode Island bishop Thomas Tobin sent out a tweet urging his Catholic followers not to participate in any Pride related activities.
“A reminder that Catholics should not support or attend LGBTQ ‘Pride Month’ events held in June. They promote a culture and encourage activities that are contrary to Catholic faith and morals. They are especially harmful for children,” Tobin wrote on Twitter.

Keanu Reeves Admits He's a Lonely Guy
At some point during the discussion, Reeves was—for reasons not entirely clear—asked to define what the innocuous word "love" means to him. He defiantly refused to answer, choosing instead to leap through the nearest window, landing injury-free on a motorcycle and cruising off into the sunset blasting METZ.
