Good Witch's Garden, The (2009)
Catherine Bell awakes the character but the garden is full of corn pop. 26-Sep-2018
Watch What Happens Live: (2018)
Below Deck Med. Reunion
Andy used the leftover sticks from The Americans to prod his guests but the staff was well-rehearsed. We learned never to bother the captain with "me too" crap (she doesn't care), Joao's act earmarks his cad card and the women aren't empowered enough to subsist past a man's speculation of them. 12-Sep-2018
Le Chalet (2017-)
The backstory is the fable, family is the drama and revenge is its horror. It may unfold patiently but it ends satisfyingly. 11-Sep-2018
It was an envoy for obtaining dirt on celebrity exclusivity except we can look into the future and authenticate their testimonies. A game within itself. 15-Aug-2018
Good Witch, The (2008)
It calms the savage soul. 07-Aug-2018
London Spy (2015)
Spy thriller with gay rationale and uncertainty. The candy and performances hoist the mystery while emotion resolves it. 23-Jul-2018
Sense8 (2015 -2018)
The sex was terrific.
It pulled from all of us and temporarily created a beautiful landscape and a force. They were our Mod Squad and art inspiration. Credit to the Wachowskis for creating the world we should be living in and for always arousing us with forward action sequences. In another time this might have been our anthem but America doesn't sing anymore. 01-Jul-2018
Its underappreciation may be due to time and how forward the message of power in inclusivity registers. Each 8 represents a struggling community that with aide, strife can be eased and joy enhanced.
The mythology may confuse but when all wicks (acting, action, sex, character development, koolness, heart and beauty) are turned on, its' fireworks. 13-Aug-2017
So fun, delirious and high. It's reaching for somewhere we want to go. Love the intertwining stories and characters. Thanks for the inclusion and the sizzling latino gay. It's a head-punch. 03-Nov-2015
...because Tabitha (Erin Murphy) was an adorable moppet
...because Aunt Clara (Marion Lorne) was squishier than my dog
...because Dick York (Darrin) was such the professional that we never noticed the pain he was in 26-Jun-2018
...because Samantha stood for every unappreciated group that the child in me could figure out
...because it can't be sexist if its a "happy couple"
...because even when the fx failed them they never deferred from perfection... because for every three they missed they got one so perfectly right
...because Paul Lynde was a great gay uncle when they weren't allowed to socially exist
...because ever since this show capitalized on what magic should be we have been pretending that magic doesn't exist (except in realistic boring conjuring ways)
...because Gladys Kravitz (Alice Pearce) and the artist who created her epitomized the nosy neighbor until she became understood
...because Endora (Agnes Moorehead) is the lesbian Drag mother-in-law we deserve
...because Elizabeth Montgomery can kick Harry Potter's ass with just one twitch. 21-Jun-2018
Alex Strangelove (2018)
It's "the" gay teen romp of our time. Its balls are huge, the introspections are clear and the voices are true. It feels like home because it doesn't pander to us and its funny. 14-Jun-2018
Honeymoon Stand-up Special (2018)
Natasha Leggero & Moshe Kasher
The expectant newlyweds have not been deterred from splattering the audience with irascible wit. Mommy hits harder because she allows her appeal to sneak through but daddy accompanies her well. 08-Jun-2018
Americans, The (2013-2018)
Choices were devastatingly wrapped, the actors wrung every drop from a thoughtful script and the suspense kept us aghast and keenly aware that you don't have to be an American to remind us what it represents. Killed it. 31-May-2018
Paige's (Holly Taylor) turn consisted of ripping into mama. Awesome. 26-May-2018
Noah Emmerich's twitch is enjoyable character signification. Margo brought forth her no-nonsense presentiment and mommy and super daddy had a face-off. When Phillip carefully confronts Elizabeth with defiant truths, Keri Russell's face tells us what she's thinking and later confirms it by beautifully vocalizing it. Its genius. 18-May-2018
Mama wrecks and super daddy woke up to thrill us with a daughter life-lesson. 27-Apr-2018
This week's episode was razor cut. It registered after the series' most romantic statement and as a nightmare every parent of any child would like to avoid. Judgment reared it's acidity and Holly Taylor's Paige delivered it as the irritating and paradoxical teen we've learned to regard. 09-May-2017
The sticks remain properly placed. It's a welcome to see Margo Martindale back where she's allowed to play like we like and she deserves. 05-Apr-2017
Homeland stopped being this show as soon as it erased the family dynamic and started exploring its spy cred. Game of Thrones brags about how intellectual they are, The Americans just thinks. 03-Jun-2016
There are performers who act like they have sticks up their butts:
-- a high strung Spanish opera comes to mind (Bryan Cranston)
-- there are also artists so comfortable that they choose to sit on that stick and break it (Alison Wright, Margo Martindale)
-- but only one can unnerve us with reserved emotion by making us feel like "we" have a stick up our butts (Keri Russell)
-- while another conveys such panty creaminess and ferocity that he makes you feel like you have his stick up your ass and you better like it (Matthew Rhys)
-- and finally the faultless good hearts (Holly Taylor, Annet Mahendru, Noah Emmerich) born into the disorder that you have to scream back at your screen to take that stick out.
They can shove their art in my face anytime. 03-Jun-2016
How exciting and intelligent, understatement can be. 02-Jun-2016
Scandal (2012 -)
Congratulations and Happy Father's Day!
Jeff Perry fidgets like a man on cocaine which is a compliment.
They took their punishment like the gladiators they are and Shonda and her players touched me more than once. 21-Apr-2018
A girl can flex her muscles too. 14-Mar-2018
The crossover tickled. 06-Mar-2018
I have to thank Shonda for allowing Olivia to become the gladiator she's always written to be. The finale gave us some beautiful Kerry acting along with her new luscious locks. A pleasure. 26-May-2017
I don't want to live in a world without Shonda Rhimes but this show is starting at the beginning again and the characters are becoming grating. Olivia is a gladiator but she spends most of her time crying and pining. Please fix it. You can start with Cyrus. 18-Mar-2016
You would've ranked higher sooner but you've peaked and we are right back where we started. Yet, I still cheer for Olivia/Kerry and I want closure for her. The supporting characters are more difficult to empathize with. I want an Olivia vs Annalise show. It's inclusive. 12-Nov-2015
Good Witch (2015-)
She's more like an instinctual psychic but its a safe haven to visit if you like to pretend that the world is inviolable and matured. The worst it can do is make you feel bad for not being good. What's wrong with that? 16-Apr-2018
Alienist, The (2018)
The cast were making viewer commitment possible but eliminating a script page from the finale is disrespectful. You know, the part that explains the title. 02-Apr-2018
The crime is its star. It's beastly and corrupt. The idea that men conceived the idea to put a child in drag so they could sexually excuse abuse and maintain the purity of their women, vociferates that men hate children even more. 12-Feb-2018
The writing experimented with silly (the robot) and erased some of its genuine intentions. The end does reward with character establishment and maturity and the cast add principle to the act. Riegert added beautiful sentimentality and the bromance was uplifting. It will belong to a future time. 21-Mar-2018
The "smug" will hate because they'll see adults combating issues regarding the politics of the world and self-medicating to reach a nirvana without acquiescence. The Legend Bates headlines, clenches the words to support her character in fighting for feminism whilst her voice hoarses from being judged as a parent, an independent and a liberator.
The cast is inclusive, contributing and winning. We finally get to see what Nicole Sullivan has been always hiding from us and Chris Redd and Betsy Sodaro gives us the funny that Kanye and Khloe cant.
There's also man squish, adorability, creativity and truth. You'll get high even when you're not. 03-Dec-2017
