It has elements of a horror masterpiece but the production couldn't pull it off. Brother and sister vanish during a walk and return strange. The girl's first period was further embarrassing because the brother had to witness it. Having mama and papa explain the awakening to each child made sense. More time spent on how the kids communicated before would have helped explain how they communicated after. No difference. Too close and too weird. Sex is a strategic element that titillated to no effect. Sex is responsible for all of it but is sideswiped by fear and hunger. Fear to offend and hungry to be accepted. There was no budget for answers so they hinted a lot. I couldn't marry the intro with the main part of the story but good use of lesbians. Why would daddy drag a business bag into a cave? The ending was a pinchable surprise. 17-Apr-2026
Patience and the art of listening is required. Refugee on the run after politics and personal vendettas defame him and target him with violence. Puzzle pieces take their time dropping but they are revealed. The atmosphere was hot, survival skills can only stretch a life so much, the characters were amateur finds, it hooks, it doesn't look away but it doesn't finish satisfactorily. Fantasies have realities that most live version films avoid. Someone figured it out. The writer must intuit the motivations behind every classic action. The cast were harmonious and rhythmic, the protagonist disrobed emotionally, dialogue made sense and the shocks were shocking. The story was realized, poeticized and scary. The pumpkin fell flat. It would have been easier to have Cinderella's admirer coach her. He would do it to woo Cinderella away from the Prince. He had to be home by midnight because he was underage. 25-Feb-2026
It wasn't something I expected but am very pleased that it turned out that way. Patience begets understanding, information and the importance of acting as a whole instead of as an individual. I presumed that our leads gave a great performance in their native language but I chose dub and the acting was horrible, esp. the adorable child. It didn't matter because talking wasn't necessary. There are only so many words one can blurt out in an end of life scenario. It haunted, it accelerated and broke a few hearts. 23-Dec-2025

You tell the truth to be heard and you tell lies to get out of jams that being honest beget. The end road is making lies happen. Two wives use a girls vacation to fuck other people. Something bad happens and the rest is a mystery that confines the leads and surprises as much as it doesn't. It satiates like a Lifetime movie with cigarettes. 13-Mar-2024
Identity doesn't matter when nature dumps you into oblivion. You identify with minute things that only matter to you. Everyone is entrapped for the same reason. Bad luck. It doesn't take long to establish that the boys are silly and well-trained survivors. Disasters had me living it, the actors kept me spiritually attuned and the writers broke my heart. Every thought was represented and dealt with. These super athletes deserved their status. Hoo-ray for everyone. The director decided not to shock and that was successful. We react to nature and god as a threat. Evolution is necessary for survival but not very good on the brain. Cognitive, intelligent and free thinking. We journeyed, felt and cried. Excellence was it's goal and it tilted. The director played it like soccer. 12-Jan-2024
Before social media, gay men congregated in straight porn theaters for sex and sympathy. They made money, were entertained, became excited, desired, it curbed loneliness and they got to fuck some woman's husband. Drags, trans and sissy boys roamed the theater like rats, scurrying around, scoping the cheese and avoiding the light while cheese daddy sat still with his legs wide open, waiting to be licked clean for respect and/or money. Street King Daddy shit. Sex is thrust upon us. It makes the impact real. The hunt is on. Sexual simulation stimulated when real or fake. Conversations skillfully explained where the community was at. Some of the players counted how many big dicks they sucked that night. Were they given a discount? The ticket manager was a sad hetero too old to attract a fuck. She thinks that convincing a gay crush to marry her would become an arrangement they both could enjoy. I could see it as a Broadway musical. It takes very little time to establish character purpose and that's great for the film. It provides the map to how we got here. 27-Jun-2023
Some of the realism popped. An Alexa prototype is god to mankind and can gift life and restore earth's biggest dilemma. There are monsters running amok, conquering earth and no human to contain them. The monsters amaze like boss battles but the characters are srtipped of personality. Why are there monsters running loose? How does Alexa resurrect us? Are the monsters left or right? Can a man fuck a girl back to life by winning the game? (Love the hair effect.) 22-Jun-2023
A mother is left to fend for herself when her husband is called to duty. The building scares and the apartment is freaky. The actor/daughter was a happy accident. She was cute and alert. The lack of music created tension. Mother's home is crumbling, the war is raging, daddy hardly calls, little girl starts hallucinating, women had no power and she's losing her mind. The mother and daughter had natural reactions. The level of trust spiraled as mine did. Can she do it or is she fucked? The mother's parenting skills are questioned throughout. The scare jumps were surprisingly scary. The fight had guts. Did she really slap that child? If it was real, she didn't flinch. I see sheets with a different eye, now. Unique. 14-Mar-2023
A rough telling of a serial murderer who uses his hate for gays, family and all that get in his way to torture and kill. 4 brothers live with momma on a decrepit block, in a creaking house and a scary neighborhood. A neighbor babysits three of the boys and sexually molests them. I didn't quite understand how the mother found out. Did the LGBTQ tell her? She meets a man full of hatred who disguises it with charm. The teen boy is having boy problems. He keeps getting raped, losing friends and his mother is a follower who can't attract a proper man to follow. Teen bonds with new daddy unaware that he's an asshole. New daddy can't stop talking about killing pedos. The followers in his life concur. They should be allowed to kill them freely. Daddy gets into teen's head and secretly shares a sadistic side that the kid embraces because he is a victim of the people daddy wants to eviscerate. The Australian cast are so realistic that I couldn't understand them. TU cc. There are images that keep repeating in my brain because that caused it to silently scream whilst watching them. There's murder, rape, perversion, animal desecration, torture, hurt and realism. The film qualifies as Texas Chainsaw's cousin. 09-Mar-2023
All Quiet On The Western Front (2022) 
The details identified were gratifyingly fresh. The movie is relentless from beginning to end, setting up the dreams of boys as they're woked into becoming men in a war that could have been avoided. The significance that war is not a boys game runs throughout. War creates toxic men and brave soldiers with hell in their dreams. The politics were presented with the right amount of exposure and clarity. I understood it. A great musical score minimizes itself so the story can sing. It sang with an orchestra. The child looks like a foreign creep from the same world. It establishes the dread and the style. Grandma, grandson and girlfriend have an established relationship that is misunderstood and unrecognized by all parties until climate change happens. For every tree that gets knocked down, a human is tasked to replenish it. I liked the drama and the characters but scares didn't pound with sense. 02-Jan-2023
It's loud, expensive, unbelievable, daring, striking, slamming and has two super daddies that have much to say. Daddies from opposite sides of the revolution become hidden identity bffs with loads of heart and muscle to give. The white witch makes a return to the screen. She is half in charge and making daddies' lives miserable. She snatches a baby sister from a daddy's tribe and enslaves her to do her nails as she controls the other by giving him power to enforce the law without limitations. White Poppa controls the army and the audacity. I got lost in the world and accepted everything that defied because everything it conquered was so joyous. 20-Dec-2022
The only way women can see the light is if they get punished for being women. The opener cues you in, the orphanage grants the characters humanity, the grown up versions are psychotic, the violence is pukey and the horror is inane. The more intimate the story, the bigger the chills. Here, the bigger the story, the more impossible it sounds. I do not get off on seeing women beat and suffering endlessly esp. for stupid reasons, but I realized that lesbians might. The film avoids sex as a respect to all women. Dude, I'd rather go back in time and get raped again than suffer through this. 17-Oct-2022
