Career thief released from jail over coronavirus fears breaks into shuttered subway newsstand: sources
A career subway thief who was released from jail over coronavirus concerns is back in cuffs, accused of breaking into a shuttered subway newsstand a few days later.
Darryl Naser, 25, got out of jail on Rikers Island on March 27 after he was ordered held on $25,000 bail for skipping a court date in a grand larceny case.
On April 1, police allege Naser and a buddy broke into a closed newsstand in the 34th St.-Herald Square subway station. He was arrested on a subway on Canal St. Monday night, police said.
Naser, who’s racked up two felony convictions and nine misdemeanor convictions, typically targets subway riders for theft, police sources said.

A woman said a group of people confronted her because she was "wearing a respirator mask" inside the store, officials with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said. "The victim was being harassed by the group of people who were stating she was infected with the coronavirus."
As she exited the store, the woman was punched in the face by multiple people and her keys and wallet were stolen, deputies said. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Band of vagabonds get punished by nazis for playing crappy rock or because they witnessed a crime. Sir Patrick Stewart was hired to class up the film and the "n" word. Anton Yelchin's heroism is a John Connor (Terminator) facsimile with substandard realization. The film lost me as soon as the punk picks up his phone to call the police for a kill that wasn't directed at him. What is the purpose of nazis if there is no racial conflict? (They don't need the props.) They were dim and disoriented and anything but scary. It stalls, it repeats, it celebrates and I believed very little of it. 28-Mar-2020
French Montana sued for sexual battery, allegedly drugged victim
A woman is suing French Montana for sexual battery, alleging she was drugged and raped in his home.
The victim, referring to herself by the pseudonym Jane Doe, is also suing Montana’s employee, Mansour Bennouna, and Coke Boy Records for assault and battery, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent hiring, supervision and retention and negligence.
In legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Doe claims the 35-year-old rapper “had a longstanding practice of inviting women to their recording sessions, or choosing women at bars, and inviting them back to the Hidden Hills house.”
Doe goes on to allege that the defendants would supply women with drinks and drugs, “with the purpose of engaging in sexual acts with them, without any regard to whether or not they consented, or were able to consent.”

Seven Brides For Seven Brothers (1954)
Men were men, maintaining the environment and women were the foundation of the home. Women complain and acquiesce; men do and expect. It was a time for falling immensely in love at first sight.. hearing about her... smelling her... he's fuckin' big. The cavemen are fuckable, idiotic and tamable. Except for the main and a purring pussycat the brides are an indistinguishable group. They desired less but they connived, demanded and bended it to their advantage like a future President. It's joyous to a fault especially when kidnapping little girls. The music no longer vibrates like it did but the hoofing was athletic muscularity. 20-Mar-2020
How Berkeley High's Whisper Network Sparked a Movement
BERKELEY, Calif.—Last month, a list appeared, scrawled with thick black marker on a stall door in a girls’ bathroom at Berkeley High School. “Boys to watch out 4,” it read. Six names followed, each appearing alongside allegations including “rapist” and “susAF” (suspicious as fuck). Written next to the list were instructions: “add names if you want,” “stay safe, ladies,” and “support each other always,” followed by a drawing of a heart with an arrow through it.
The previous week, a lawsuit had been filed by a student against the school for allegedly mishandling an on-campus sexual assault case. It was far from the first time that Berkeley High was accused of failing to protect its students; a few years earlier, the school district even became the subject of a related federal investigation. Now, a student had taken things into her own hands.
The message went up during a morning class period and, just a few bell rings later, students poured into hallways now reeking of the harsh cleaning chemicals used to strip the list from the stall door.

Waka Flocka Flame Says the Coronavirus is 'Fake' and 'Minorities Can't Catch It'
Waka Flocka Flame isn't sweating the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, because he firmly believes minorities can't catch it. In an interview on Real 92.3 LA, Waka talked about his marriage with Tammy Rivera before declaring himself and countless others potentially immune to the virus, despite having no evidence to support that claim.
"It's fake... Minorities can't catch it," he said at the 11:40 mark of the interview when asked if he was worried about it at all. "Name one though," he said when challenged on that comment. "We all descended from the same persons. Now, did we catch it? It hit the people passing through our airport [Atlanta], it ain't touch them soulful folks." He didn't explain himself too much further, or why he believes that he and other minorities are safe, but the conversation quickly moved on after.
THE JOHN WAYNE INTERVIEW THAT CONTINUES TO OUTRAGE PEOPLE TODAY
Snopes.com cites chapter and verse of the interview published by Playboy Magazine in its May 1971 issue. In those days Playboy had a certain reputation not only for photography, but also long-form interviews that tried to get beneath the surface of the individual in question. Wayne gave them ample opportunity. One of the questions asked if Wayne felt any empathy toward Native Americans — termed Indians in those times — so often portrayed in his films as villains. Wayne's response:
"I don't feel we did wrong in taking this great country away from them, if that's what you're asking. Our so-called stealing of this country from them was just a matter of survival. There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves."
In a 1971 interview with Playboy magazine, Wayne admitted he didn't like African-American people (or "the blacks" as he constantly called them) being in charge of anything because white people are apparently the only people who know what they're doing. As he said in the interview, "I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. I don't believe in giving authority and positions of leadership and judgment to irresponsible people." He also railed against black people getting too many opportunities. He felt that "Hollywood studios are carrying their tokenism a little too far," and that minorities should only get roles meant for them. Like slaves — Wayne actually claimed to be inclusive because he "had a black slave in The Alamo." To that, you might say, "well, it's a start," but honestly, it's not.
Infiltrating a religious sect to save a sibling. The premise barely sustains itself and Dan Stevens' idea of macho heroism is to grunt like a gorilla and squawk like a duck. He is so inspired to erase his Downton starter that what he erects is stiff overcompensation. The only thing the film gets right is torture and a weirdly coincidental female tree. 11-Mar-2020
Mexico imagines a world without women, in strike against gender violence
What if all women in Mexico vanished? This is the question at the heart of a nationwide strike kicking off on Monday, during which women are expected to stay away from work and school in protest at surging femicide rates.
Advocacy groups have asked women across Mexico to stay at home for the day, to demonstrate against shocking levels of gender-based violence in the Latin American country.
The number of femicides -- the killing of women because of their gender -- has climbed in recent years. In 2019 there were 1,006 reported cases, compared with 912 the year before.
According to Mexico's Attorney General Alejandro Gertz, femicides have increased 137% in the last five years.

During a recent appearance on new streaming network Fox Soul’s The Tammi Mac Late Show, he recalled working with “nasty motherf—er” Walker, adding that the worst experience of his career took place a few years back in an Alexandria, Virginia comedy club with the TV star.
