Big Bang Theory (2007-2019)
They brought me joy, I dorked out and Buffy doesn't hurt. 17-May-2019
It was a Mother's Day Pop-Up card. Well done. 14-May-2019
It's a group effort, Sheldon. 21-Jul-2017
Now Apocalypse (2019-)
High on sexuality, deep in relationships and challenging in concept. The characters range from elegantly disturbing to adorably hunky. I'm in it. 12-Apr-2019
Boa vs. Python (2004)
Made by environmentalists that insist that anything that moves or blinks is worth preserving even if it kills us. They hilariously plunder from Cameron's "Aliens" and every knockoff thereof. 04-Jan-2019
Bird Box (2018)
We get to conceptualize the threat, Paulson reads her lines in haste, nobody fucks with Bullock and Trevante Rhodes seizes beauty. 04-Jan-2019
The series tackles mental health treatment and unlocks its mystery.
The length of it mattered because I was always surprised when each episode closed.
Every frame was effective.
Bobby Cannavale tears up his dip.
Stephen James piles the right amount of sincerity to make us care about his treatment.
Sissy Spacek. She deserves the show.
Alex Karpovsky. He creeps.
Shea Whigman. Every time he played with his glasses I shudddered with glee.
Marianne Jean-Baptiste. The kind of spectacle a mother should try to be.
Hong Chau. The perfect rise.
Julia Roberts. There is no bullshit. Her confidence in art is our trust. She lets no one down.
Written by people with forward self-reflections.
Sam Esmail. He shook it and rocked it until he reinvented it. Respect.
I was totally absorbed, grew a brain cell or two and became a fan. 14-Dec-2018
My Santa (2013)
High-end poverty, determined women amenable to situating on any daddy lap, crooked trees, miraculous gifts, susceptible children and a twinkie Santa. It's Christmas. 14-Dec-2018
Michael Jackson: Rich and Acquitted (2016)
A revisit of a triumph turned acrid. His legacy was as King of Horrors and to be represented mostly by white women. Was that Heather Longboobs playing MJ? 05-Dec-2018
Murphy Brown (2018-)
The rush to be politically resounding is precipitating much silliness. 27-Nov-2018
I commend English for not overwhelming it and allowing fond characters to mature. 08-Oct-2018
American Horror Story: Apocalypse (2018)
Bassett added salt, Jessica sprinkled seasoning and Conroy served fine china. The Antichrist wasn't built from angelic downfall but was acid to a soup that the writers unnecessarily kept reheating. 14-Nov-2018
I basked in Jessica, the story broke from its captor and the whole weaved its own fairytale ending. 18-Oct-2018
The odd energy wasted on jumble might have spared us from a Sarah Paulson "Dracula" cliche. 17-Sep-2018
It's an acting exercise that neither gratifies or precipitates its subject or ensnares us. 25-Oct-2018
I sit up in anticipation that Theroux gets to suit up his super daddiness and be part of something cohesive. I lay back wary that the fate of True Detective will return to insult us. 24-Sep-2018
Innocents, The (2018-)
I would have latched harder had the superpower been worthy of attention. 05-Sep-2018
London Spy (2015)
Spy thriller with gay rationale and uncertainty. The candy and performances hoist the mystery while emotion resolves it. 23-Jul-2018
How It Ends (2018)
It has no answers for what and no distraction for how. 16-Jul-2018
Handmaid's Tale, The (2017-)
The choice was maddening but the show was brilliant. 11-Jul-2018
I felt every contraction. 28-Jun-2018
It seems every time a suppressed group is emblazoned for freedom and equality the misinterpretation of spirituality return us to the beginning. Harrowing. 21-Jun-2018
Season 2, episode 7 allowed all the women performers to convey loveliness and unity in their art. 14-Jun-2018
Masterpiece of prick, torment and durability. The performers harmonize beautifully engaging us in the despicable and the championed. Moss resounds hardest because her character's zest for life is dictated intensively. 19-Jun-2017
This is what happens when you take the word of the "book" seriously without weighing the morality or the consequences of a privileged and archaic life. Elizabeth Moss heroically endures much so we can understand the sacrifices the underprivileged must make to survive in a new world that constantly spits in her face, without exploitation. It's scary because even though its fiction, it fits our current mentality like a glove. 16-Jun-2017
Westworld (2016 -)
A robot can do some miraculous things but only our minds can take it to heaven. Poetic completion. 26-Jun-2018
Well played, well processed and well done. 18-Jun-2018
I spent the last hour surmising the weight and impossible cost of these robots because the show no longer computes. 08-Jun-2018
Thandie still stuns but logic has scattered. Our belief system cannot compute panoramic robot suffering. The closest tech we have to robotics is "Alexa" and she can barely get my name correctly or throw out the garbage. There is no human voice to empathize with. 01-Jun-2018
It all tied like a protrusive golden braid that ignited the players and extinguished all doubts. It was complete, it reinvented its mythology and made it relevant. Every revelation was rational and kick ass. The ladies kill. 15-Dec-2016
It's a Gurlworld and beautiful Thandie rules atop it. 23-Nov-2016
There is plenty for the eye to focus on but clarity is direly needed. I can't tell a robot from a human and I don't understand the waste of having robots enact when there are no humans in evidence. Also, we live in a Big Brother world where everything and everyone is followed and filmed yet they keep losing track of them though their technology is so advanced it can create humanistic automatons. I am only at the halfway point and Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton have my attention but it better add up to something. 14-Nov-2016
