Mad doctor living in the jungle with his fabulous wife who happens to be a voodoo priestess that wants him dead. A trio of men interrupt their isolation by needing a doctor's help when one of them is mauled. Fabulous wife takes a shine to the protagonist with Tom Holland DNA and impresses him by using voodoo to revive his friend. Conversations lacked cohesion and plotholes were ignored but the natives and fabulous wife made for an entertaining sitting. 29-Aug-2026

Five Nights At Freddy's 2 (2025) 
The ambition to make the franchise step up is absent. It does the same thing as before to tired effect. Kill no shows were confusing. How did some of them die? It was a horror geared towards gullible children. A child that thinks mechanical contraptions are friends is far-fetched and the child looks too adult to participate in such lunacy. Yes, the mechanical thing getting inside of the car pissed me off again. I actually thought they would explain it or at least rip the car ceiling off. There were whimsical elements that could have been culled to completion but they were trampled on. A bloodless sequel. 09-Aug-2026
Super-powered action, simplified storytelling and amiable actors. Mr. Urban's Aussie accent is sorely missed but he's still proficient at delivering quips, face muscles and hair. Bringing back the dead confused. If they can resuscitate you after you die why bother? Is that the point? Because they can? Fight is all that mattered and it's where the film excelled. It took me back to when I payed the games, recognizing characters and being amazed by their looks, moves and kills. 05-Aug-2026
Masters Of The Universe (2026)
Funny was used as a shield for insecurities and failures. Idris rose beyond the material and branded Duncan a favorite. I thought that the actress playing Evil-Lyn was Kristen Wiig. It was Alison Brie doing the honors. I laughed when I saw Kristen Wiig's name at the end of the credits. Leto should remain cloaked. It added ferocity to method acting. The dialog didn't deviate from limited subjects but the action imagination was fun. Nicholas is not the only doll I would have played with. It's toy joy. 24-Jul-2026
The explanations don't match the truth. One good song hits the sentiment but the rest were lacking. Replacing or reshaping them should have been a priority. If actors can't sing don't let them. The mythology is overcomplicated. It's one thing after another that didn't add up to the book or the classic film. If Glinda had no powers how did she get the shoes on Dorothy? In The Wizard of Oz she uses magic. Romance and politics were unnecessary. They were tools used to tie our thoughts with the original art but only created more threads. Elphaba not being wicked but a misunderstood Jane was the crux of the movie's problem. How does she go from enslaving animals (Wizard of Oz) to PETA activist? Erivo was never allowed the satisfaction to complete her character. I wanted to see her get wicked and become ugly by default. Dorothy's outline was short and cold. None of it was enacted which killed the impact. Heck, they could have inserted edits from the 1939 original and it would have been less goofy than nothing. The players captivated in a story that should have never been tied to the memories of Oz. 22-Jul-2026
And Now The Screaming Starts (1973)
Abrupt editing and tacky effects sour a spooky tale. Virgin bride moves into castle with a family curse. The secret only intensifies because anyone who divulges it perishes. Bride has visions of a severed hand and a man with hollowed out eyes. The hand showed up in peculiar places with violence its main purpose. Bride's visions are only realistic to her. No one sees what she experiences. A professor of mentality is hired to calculate and treat her paranoia. The script doesn't linger analyzing the character's actions and the actors don't assert like the majority of the people would. The camera silently presents faces grandly emoting as thoughts. The secret sounded more devastating than was presented. I didn't know you could inherit a scar, trashing a relative's grave is cathartic and that women screaming during a 30 second fuck was normal. 14-Jul-2026
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (2026) 
It felt like a TV sequel of a film. The silliness tired and the action stall tactics were irresponsible. It was an unrealistic interruption to dire situations and it happened often. The sisters had a dynamic but it relied on harping about the same subject whose urgency no longer mattered. Change the subject. The film kept going around in circles which didn't help with sleep. The cast were in a fun movie I wasn't privy to. I think I stayed because I wanted to see Ms. Weaver get clean. She did and it was the only gift. 03-Jul-2026
S1E8. The Spider is a bumbler whose superpowers lack hutzpah and is usually beaten to a pulp. Black Cat is just a chick called Cat that doesn't even own one or scratches. Why didn't someone throw water on Electro? Sir Nic and Gleeson provided gravitas. The excuses to avoid action were obvious and disappointing. 05-Jun-2026
S1E3. The series is handsome and gets little wrong but I don't look forward to watching it. TV comic book adaptations are limited by a lack of scope. Hours of talk for a dash of action. Stitching gangster cliches for credence is window dressing. Bewitched was more dedicated to action than the current most. Even when the effects ended up crappy, the artists learned from them and moved on. They never quit. 02-Jun-2026

The finale fell short of expectations. We expected an Avengers-type showdown, footage of Homelander struggling to tear into Butcher's dick, a deeper dive into Starlight, The V members showing up to fight and something to live for besides Homelander and Vought. The show wasted too much time on the structure instead of what built it. Great characters, outrageousness, a little bit of heart and style. 24-May-2026

Homefucker took twitch to its ultimate, grew from it and became remarkable. Someone invited Smirk to the party so he can curse it? He's still smirking away and sounding like a condescending cunt. The twist befits him like a glove. Yes, I would submit to his gravelly words and old man charms. Is that all A-Train or are there other plastics involved? Nice. Mama's Milk has the right amount of daddy issues. Kimiko and Frenchie are still a power couple even though Frenchie has accent disabilities. Star watt. Starlight's abilities were stifled. The series made me realize that Karl Urban can be fun. Quaid can get away with a lot. Sage was waiting for this all her life and she's acing it. The Deep is reenacting some personal memories. Respect. There are stalling tactics that defy reason. The enemies keep bumping into each other but nobody keeps the promise to slaughter the other. One explanation should suffice. Before Scooby Doo there was this. An amalgamation of sitcom sensibilities, talking parrot extremes, dance and musical numbers, generation gap dissection, tom foolery, daddy perversions, money problems, stupidity and lesbians galore. Fast & Furious club are being targeted for more money because of it's reputation. Teen daughter is a drag race queen who has to concoct ways to manipulate the club and the cops from not snitching. She's a manhole on wheels. Daddy does not want his daughter fucking around with bees. Mommy needs to hear about good sex from anyone else. Drag racers are misunderstood. The men are pussies to their sometimes womanly lovers. Agatha was devine. The high is so stupid you have to laugh. Me not understanding what my parents' teenage asses said or did was hilarious and relevant. 05-May-2026
I appreciated the concept but I have no idea what planet this movie is from. Nutter kidnaps executive because he thinks she's an alien. A cousin is his Frankenstein sidekick. The actors wrecked, the bumbling idiots had no solid plan, the cop was unnecessary, and I wished everyone was in a cohesive movie. The hype doesn't allow me to play along because the outcome is obvious. When the embroidered sacks appeared I went into hysterics. The mugging was on hyperdrive, the script was a discarded King Kong treatment satirized to no effect and somebody's wig was freaking me out. It was very Dorothy and its texture kept changing.
