The mind sizzles with filmic ideas but it rejects the flipping from good to evil. It's a concoction for idle thinkers. 26-Dec-2018
The terror arises from a vapid addiction and in the addition of numbers. Madeline Brewer's sensual tease and nervous sense of morality keep it edgy. 13-Dec-2018
God Told Me To (1976)
The commotion was executed to impress Hitchcock, obsessed beliefs create boundaries and we got to be impressed seeing a policeman do his job. 02-Dec-2018
A Quiet Place (2018)
The list I was creating throughout the movie was uptight. Emily Blunt doesn't need to talk to ignite, an extension into a Shyamalan world is welcome and Krasinksi scares. That's all I needed to quote. 02-Dec-2018
Hand That Rocks The Cradle, The (1992)
A two-sided coin that elaborates on the ramifications of "me too."DeMornay manifests vindictive bitchiness by thread, tone and lust. Sciorra deadlocks maternal credence and Moore is the flippant friend you can't trust but should. Girl fight to the the end is its bang. 29-Nov-2018
The camera is tricky and holds a tight grip. Edmund Kingsley is burdened with having to convey panic and desperation with a partially helmeted face. He adds to the film's accomplishments. Sinner, The (2017)
It terrifies with the psychology that no matter how virtuous the effort, parents can't take pride in giving life if they can't provide a way for the distressed to enjoy it.
Jessica Biel may be putting up walls but they're decorative. She has the same light that burned Farah's wings on.
I couldn't put the book down. 07-Jul-2018
Take Me To The River (2015)
Hillbilly family reunion corrodes when mindless gay teen usurps flamboyance against parental repression. Combustion arises from a "me too" moment wherein the offended family ascribe scaring the "California" out of the teen. It's courageously choreographed and uniquely categorized but when the balloon pops it fizzles. The sexual indiscretion that drives the suspense has no explanation, resolution or respect. Chicken fighting has been ruined. 21-Jun-2018
