The beautiful ones return in high style and peak bloom.
Fluidity is tunneled, pummeled and charged. The freedom to inherit all relationship prospects is an elite politic that facilitates mass hurt because the kids that invented it are incapable of successfully mastering it. They're human.
The parents do as Oprah taught them and heal most of their miracles' hemorrhage with gifts and money.
The beauties confusing the system to reclaim justice was resplendent.
The mystery continues and concludes, the ones are masters of bitchiness and heartbreak and the thread is reinforced nylon. Brava! 29-Mar-2020
The season was mapped mathematically and it hit every point. The actors are snug in their roles and stamping their characters. The drama makes you talk to yourself, the police work is thought out and everything looks delicious. Cool as fuck. 23-Sep-2019
They represent with no restraints and the teens are regarded with soul. The societal menace is heavier, coddling is out and the hurt is overwhelming. They are fighting a world adults complicated with wee survival skills. Beauty is diverse and it lingers because the writers keep tearing at it. 23-Nov-2018
Little Fires Everywhere (2020-)
A mama cold war, a class distinction an intellectual race riot. It theorizes that women only need to act like a mother to push the children through life. It states that racism's hypocrisy, sensitivity and overreaction will never mend it. The children are at a loss serving as parental investments of an unsettled future while practicing what they learn from them as much as what they hate.
Kerry Washington threw her TVQ out the window to portray a most questionable mother with a permanent scowl on her face, a confrontational outlook and some sort of mental instability. Witherspoon is the mother whose charity she thinks will excuse her parental ditto. She peels enough layers to inform us that she rationalizes that racism is wrong but the safety of her family comes first.
The baby drama is the new focal point and it may be its drawback. The coincidence was grand and mama Mia had no business offering a co-worker, who abandoned her baby, money that would have been better suited for her own daughter. It makes her hard to like.
It's nagging, addictive and igniting. 26-Mar-2020
We feast on a most delectable future whilst our brains ping pong. Wright daddied up, Wood is glam assassin, Paul does his thing and Newton yums. 17-Mar-2020
Academy Awards (2020)
The Academy figured out that diversity comes in more than one color.
The "Parasite"s snared it.
Eminem was an unnecessary surprise, stirring thoughts of homophobia, sexism and racial encroachment whilst being lauded and absolved.
I'd be "right" if Olivia Colman hosted the Oscars. She's toolshed hilarious (handy but sharp.) The show feels lonely without a parent to supervise it.
The musical numbers were welcome, the star pairings were amusing and the show knew when to wrap it up. 10-Feb-2020
October Faction (2020-)
"The Americans" in the Buffyverse with its own ideas.
Twins united is a powerful concoction. He's gay with no tolerance for sweetness and of suppressed privilege. She questions why her life doesn't fulfill her essence. They both do everything to upset their parents. Their awakening untangles excitedly.
Family history keeps the mythology pressing on.
Daddy has a gun, grandma has a gun, they all have a gun but no one grips it like mama.
The show handles its business like a bullet - straight through - no bullshit - not for squeaky screamers.
"Big Bad" seems to be representing.
There are a variety of monsters, entanglements and enlightenments for an open world of writing fun stuff. 29-Jan-2020
Leave it to California ("the Hellmouth") to turn a serial into a romantic victim. The pyschology was bi-polar and the disentanglements were happenstance and charred. I'm not excited to see a third season. 31-Dec-2019
The thrill of the cum trampled by a kick in the balls. The delicacies of love entrenched by intrinsic mind bending. Badgley steals the crown structuring the depth of his humanity and indignation. 20-Apr-2019
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The (2017-)
The calibre still flickers.
The formalization of Shy Baldwin played diligently.
Sterling K. never hurts.
Luke Kirby squishes like a troublemaker that can't see beyond a certain time.
Tony Shalhoub and Marin Hinkle represent its class and the race to catch up to a new world before it changes again.
Michael Zegen, great nips, awesome accent and a big dreamer.
I didn't understand why Zachary Levi was getting another chance but he proved me wrong. The gorgeous giant had something to say and it was great. He left Shazam on a CGI set.
Alex Borstein, representing everything we want to see in the world, slaughtered like a butcher.
Rachel Brosnahan plays the titular with the knowledge that her ambition may not enhance her personal life but she's got to do it.
Soul searching, family values, friendships, fame, failure and a point of view. Fuck you Palladinos. (I mean that lovingly.) 27-Dec-2019
I think Amy-Sherman Palladino and Mr. Palladino have turned me bi-cranial. I can't hate them because they keep saying what I'm thinking. Mazel.
The addiction starts right away but the spell is cast in the middle of season 2. There's Gilmore flash wit, character peak and writing punctuation. I may not have swayed in season 1 but I'm swaying now. 18-Sep-2019
No matter how cute, when a dog spends most of its time yipping and yapping we are incapable of seeing its soul. The writing punctures, the music helps and everyone is professional but I have to wonder if that's all there is. When we insert the sensibilities of our present to make the past more tolerable we are erasing the essence of time that brought it to life. 16-Sep-2019
A Christmas Carol (2019-)
The legend of Scrooge modernized for a realistic mind.
It could've done with some trimming but it still shined.
Guy Pearce dashes, preys and rips as Scrooge. He deduces everything and everyone but himself. His softness towards animals was clever and the "humbugs" were well-earned.
Vinette Robinson (Mary Cratchit) deserves kudos for supplying it with its heart and its threat.
Joe Alwyn had passionate battles with Scrooge that eclipsed the baby blues.
The modern is simple. Scrooge represents every blogger with a gripe that can no longer concede to ideology...the spirits are the influencers, the magic makers and the Gladys Kravitz.' "Bully that man until he burns to the ground or apologizes."
The clues unlock in gift boxes. The heart was put in all the right places. Surprising the viewer with a repetitive tradition is no easy task. Respect.
We all have a Scrooge that we are safe from, whilst we live on the other side, except it's getting harder to stay there. 22-Dec-2019
The catastrophe of Lost has been redeemed.
Blue is a gorgeous color.
Only Jeremy Irons could snugly fit that suit or that character.
Tim Blake Nelson is trailer park satisfaction.
The greatest thing James Wolk did was strip. His accent almost cut me, it was so sharp.
Lady Trieu was grunge girl effervescence.
It completed, catapulted, respected and reinvented. Brilliant!
I'm excited and afraid. 09-Dec-2019
Acquiring empathy for a dad you hate by reliving his memories was invigorating. (Don't fuck it up!) 03-Dec-2019
Jean Smart and Regina King are glorious. Jeremy Irons is a fantastic beast. The creators name drop comic book fantasy without delivering it. Junk is created for the masses but art heightens its subject. Uncertainty makes the audience walk out. 09-Nov-2019
I was going to complain that the corn was killing my daddies (women included) but then Daddy Michael, Daddy Athena and Christmas happened. You bastards! 09-Dec-2019
Welcome back daddies! 25-Sep-2019
Unexpected thoughtfulness. 08-May-2019
I no longer have Buffy but I still have you. The last two episodes wrung every artistic sentiment my mind could withstand. Thank you. 06-Apr-2019
The company allowed the schmuck in me to celebrate Christmas. 02-Dec-2018
The daddy (Bassett and Hines included) heroics are inventive, the pulse quickens with current thinking and our hearts get pulled. 25-Oct-2018
A great action piece can energize an attention span but plugging the acting talent to words that allow them to emote beautifully is sublime. 12-Mar-2018
We're in dire need of heroes to save us and Murphy's latest gift is ready to give them to us. Connie Britton and Peter Krause have returned to dominant form, Angela Bassett is having fun and Oliver Stark is a fragile delicacy. The stunts wallop, the words are thoughtful and inclusive and Ryan and crew are experimental ninjas. 16-Jan-2018
House of Flowers (2018)
Scouring the family axis with joy. 02-Oct-2019
Better Than Us (2018-)
The show is better than us. It carves a world where man can receive restitution for a feminist movement. It's not about robots but how we perceive them to be the sexual gratifiers, the mothers and the household maintainers of the future world. The more freedom granted to a woman the less a man needs her. The men are also tested by libido, masculine energy and faithfulness. Women have the capacity to liberate themselves from subjugation, even in a robotic state.
For every false move there are two excellent ones to eclipse it. This is the robot myth that should have preceded Battlestar. 11-Sep-2019
Robot fabulosity pulls you in but it's the intertwining story threads that keep you posted. 08-Sep-2019
Gorgeous ladies...and men, musical zest, smashing show and a hopeful ending. It broke it and healed it...the heart. 28-Aug-2019
"The Man That Got Away." Judy defined it and Billy spelled it out. 25-Aug-2019
It gave us a vogue teaser, it made gold edible and the love story was sexy. 23-Aug-2019
Ryan's episode didn't hand me an enigmatic vogue but it gave me beauty of soul. 23-Aug-2019
Do I have to vogue to earn a gay family like this or is that sentiment stuck in the past? The show retains its high sheen fabulosity but ballroom direction needs to stress its entertainment notch in order to fly closer to Billy Porter's coordination. 21-Jul-2019
The release was due to its faithful history and devotedly charged performances. 10-Jul-2018
Every week it grows in beauty and endearment. One more moon and Papa Murph makes me blow.
Christopher Meloni is now inducted into Daddy Squish Hall of Fame. 03-Jul-2018
It's about family. 27-Jun-2018
Ryan is tapping into the artistic awakening of its raw talent. Learning as they go. 24-Jun-2018
The seed has been planted but in order for it to grow it needs to escalate the celebration. 23-Jun-2018
Big Little Lies (2017-)
An assorted bouquet of beautiful flowers in full bloom. The house versus Meryl Streep was everything. 22-Jul-2019
The entire production splatters art all over its walls. Did Meryl Streep accept this role to scare Trump? Brava. 20-Jul-2019
The ladies continue marveling and the word is written by writers who have explored life. 13-Jul-2019
Children hear the darndest things. Meryl's on the case, the ladies are grinding and the drama has my attention. 30-Jun-2019
At end, Nicole steals a chunk of it, Reese gets a moment and Shailene is unfortunately relegated to reaction scenes. The mystery was resolved with little drama and less surprise and hints suggested in earlier episodes were ignored or swiftly wrapped. Female courtesy is fully established but parenting is still in question. Why did it take any child this long to squeal and to trust their parent? Is the intervention of a child's world out of bounds? That is the mystery never answered. 04-Apr-2017
Every week the expectation of even a kernel to a hint of the mystery is doused. The only way to compensate this frustration is if the finale depends on the reveals to make it explosive. In the interim we get three forcible actresses who put their star quality first as the actor in them unravels. Reese dominated the first episodes by being a fierce competitor and an overprotective presence without depriving us of the charm that made her a star. Shailene Woodley is capable and subdued but her character is a question mark that has not been classified. Laura Dern inhabits the witchy and bitchy suburbanite spreading insecurity and paranoia to all her obstacles. Nicole Kidman's story is hardest to digest as she has to withstand sexual exploitation and abuse but once she opens up she never flinches and she makes you recall her real marriage to an alpha. The scenes of her in counseling are beautifully open. Alexander Skarsgard is the epitome of the model husband and actor but nothing else. 23-Mar-2017
I Am Mother (2019)
It's about control as much as it is about survival. All three characters are mothers because that is a woman's first natural instinct. It has the most force and the film acknowledges it. They battle, the direction alights the mood, it's subject is fresh and I was never bored. 04-Jul-2019
