Influencer fires trainer — after spotting him eating McDonald’s burger

The bombshell recalled how she arrived for a training session and saw the self-proclaimed gym shark “eating a McDonald’s burger” — and “That’s when I decided it wasn’t going to work for me anymore,” Hanniely declared.

My sister uses hippy-dippy ‘gentle parenting’

“During the first two days of their stay, her daughter drew on my walls with crayon,” said the disgruntled woman. “And her son pulled up flowers I had recently planted in my garden bed and threw a rock at my car parked in the driveway.”

“To top it all off,” she continued, “they both kept constantly pulling my golden retriever’s hair and hitting my dog in the face.”

I’ve Suddenly Noticed My Husband Doesn’t Measure Up

I have a recurring thought that might turn into a problem. I’m married to a man I adore, and we have an incredible sex life that I wouldn’t change for the world. Passionate, fun, multiple orgasms per session. However, while my body is overjoyed, my mind is struggling. My husband is slightly shorter than average, and his dick is slightly smaller than average as well. This is something I’ve always known and has never impacted our sex life. But I had a friend complaining about a below-average-sized lover, and it got me all in my head. Now when I look at my husband in bed, I can’t not notice that he’s smaller than what society says he should be. I never thought about it before, but it’s making me feel less attracted to him now. I find myself less inclined to give him hand jobs or blow jobs because I don’t want to think about his size. Why am I obsessing over this when I find sex with him so pleasurable? How do I get over this?

Is it true ejaculating 21 times a month will drastically lower my husband’s risk of getting prostate cancer?

Hollywood consumes half the oil from the Amazon rainforest

“The world has failed us,” Correa said in 2013 as he announced a lifting of the moratorium on oil drilling in Yasuní.

The move to drill hundreds of new wells in the national park requires the building of roads and other infrastructure that is likely to accelerate deforestation, environmentalists say. Construction of an initial road inside the park is now less than 1,300 feet from the “no-go” zone designed to protect the uncontacted tribes, according to the report.

I Masturbate Every Morning & It Does Wonders For My Anxiety

By 7am, I’ve already had two orgasms.

I have to get up if I want to get a shower in before work, but I can’t resist going for one more. In the end, I rush for the bus in a haphazard outfit, my self-induced bedhead neatly packed away in a bun.

The lack of shower aside, it’s a regular scenario – getting myself off is part of my morning routine. It’s about more than sexual satisfaction; I use it as a form of relaxation.

My stress levels are generally quite high. I work in a fast-paced environment where tight deadlines come as part of the package and my mind is constantly 'on'. I also suffer from anxiety, which adds another layer of tension to my already overworked brain. Switching off is difficult – as a natural workaholic, my evenings and weekends are frequently filled with more work.

Drinking More Cold Water Burns a Few More Calories

Does drinking more water really help dieting? A small study says drinking more cold water may help you burn a few more calories each day. How many? You burn about 50 calories per quart (or liter) of cold water, or about 25 calories per typical water bottle full of cold water. The effect mostly comes from the body needing to heat up the water in your digestive tract. It's a small effect, about the equivalent of five plain M&M candies.

How much water you should drink each day regardless of dieting is a common question. Apart from the water you get in food, medical references say women should drink about nine cups of beverages each day (73 ounces) and men should drink 12.5 cups (100 ounces) of beverages. With exercise, you should replenish the water you lose through sweat. See how much water to drink for walking and exercise.

Can You Get Herpes From Your Gym Mat?

You’re probably already a pro at wiping down the handlebars on the treadmill or sopping up sweat on the bench. But how about the gym mat you just unrolled—can there be gross stuff lurking on that, too?

According to a recent blog post by surgeon David A. Greuner, M.D., FACS, FICS, gym mats can be grosser than you think. In fact, he claims that coming in contact with a dirty gym mat can raise your risk of skin infections and acne—and even transfer herpes to susceptible individuals.

Does Sex Really Count As A Workout, Because I'm Also Just Asking For A Friend

You've probably joked before about how the last time you had sex, it felt like an actual workout. I mean, everyone's at least thought about that. But no one really wants to be the one to ask that question. Interestingly enough, research already shows women who exercise regularly have more active sex lives, are quicker to reach orgasm, and are more easily turned on than women who don't exercise.

So it's not a totally ridiculous thought, right? But when all is said and done, could you actually replace your usual SoulCycle class with a steamy sex session?

(I promise, I'm definitely just asking for a friend.)

Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Send Your Child to Football Camp

Sending Your Kid to Football Camp? We urge you to reconsider. While the benefits of fresh air, exercise, and teamwork are well known by the football community, the inherent danger of brain disease is NOT. It cost us our son’s brain and ultimately his life.

By now you have probably heard of CTE or Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, a progressive, degenerative disease that destroys the brain. Most people associate it with military veterans, pro-football players and repeated traumatic, concussive blows to the head. But that’s far from the complete picture.

What's the best time of day to exercise?

Some fitness gurus recommend working out first thing in the morning because that's when you're least likely to have scheduling conflicts and therefore more likely to exercise regularly. Plus, early exercisers often say that a morning routine leaves them feeling more energized and productive during the day.

But if you are not a morning person and shudder at the thought of getting out of bed for a 6 a.m. workout, I have good news: We perform best at exercise (especially high-intensity exercise) later in the day.

Research shows that strength and flexibility are greatest in the late afternoon and that perceived exertion -- meaning how hard you feel that your body is working -- is lowest. Scientists attribute these effects to our circadian rhythm, the body's 24-hour clock, which causes body temperature to rise slightly throughout the day and peak in late afternoon.

Brains evolved to need exercise

Mounting scientific evidence shows that exercise is good not only for our bodies, but for our brains. Yet, exactly why physical activity benefits the brain is not well understood.

In a new article published in the journal Trends in Neurosciences, University of Arizona researchers suggest that the link between exercise and the brain is a product of our evolutionary history and our past as hunter-gatherers.

UA anthropologist David Raichlen and UA psychologist Gene Alexander, who together run a research program on exercise and the brain, propose an "adaptive capacity model" for understanding, from an evolutionary neuroscience perspective, how physical activity impacts brain structure and function.

How does aging affect muscle tone?

Aging reduces both muscle tissue and muscle tone, according to MedlinePlus. As people age, muscle fibers shrink and muscle is replaced more slowly. These changes begin for men in their 20s and women in their 40s. As people reach middle age and beyond, Gaiam Life explains, the aging-related muscle degeneration process known as sarcopenia continues.

No, you can't electrocute your belly fat away

Indiegogo has a long and unhappy history of being the internet's home for misbegotten and specious health gadgets, and its latest addition is no exception. The TrimX electrical fat stimulator promises to target the most stubborn fat deposits on your body and essentially blast them away with gentle waves of electrical current (and regular exercise). It's just like the litany of ab-firming belts from the likes of Slendertone — which the US FDA clears only for therapeutic use and not weight loss — only this one is supposed to stimulate the fat rather than muscle.

Touted as "the world’s first fat spot reduction wearable technology,” the TrimX is "clinically proven to allow you to gain control over your body." Think about that for a second: clinically proven to do something as unscientific as "gaining control over your body." The Indiegogo page cites a 10-week, triple-blind study that supposedly showed TrimX users losing 4.7 times more fat around their targeted areas than a placebo-controlled group that also experienced general fat loss. But it offers no details like number of participants or any other hard data. I wouldn't mind knowing how the placebo group lost weight, which sounds just as effective as this TrimX setup.

Bodybuilding With One Arm and No Legs

When you speak to Nick Santonastasso over the phone, he seems like an average 20 year old. He’s youthful and full of life. But in person, he’s unlike just about anyone else. Santonastasso was born with Hanhart Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that manifests itself with either unformed organs or limbs. But that hasn't held him back from becoming a fitness model and bodybuilder. The youngest of three children, Nick’s parents raised him just like his other siblings, encouraging him to overcome obstacles by his own will.
