Salt And Pepper (1968)
They had the etiquette to name Sammy Davis Jr., Salt and Peter Lawson, Pepper but the film scourges the earth with inappropriateness. It's a spin-off of Rat Pack mentality, with loss of cool, unbelievable politics and ridiculous antics. The buddies have built-in chemistry but the premise is bonkers. 29-Jun-2020
Rim Of The World (2019)
Aliens have invaded and, it's up to 4 pups, to save the world. The children are cliches and stereotypes discharging sexual innuendos, inappropriate confusion and fake bravado. The script particularly hates most of the black characters as they exist to be the brunt of a joke and are the fastest to grate. The aliens don't look or act like they can access tech because their design is jurassic. No fun, just crap. 13-Apr-2020
Cannibal Women In The Avocado Jungle of Death (1989)
The politic of the feminist necessitates eating men. Shannon could (act,) Bill squeaked and Adrienne shouldn't have. 12-Oct-2019
When a director can't wrangle a decent performance from two accomplished actresses (Nyong'o and Moss,) he isn't done with his training. The movie makes no sense and it doesn't deserve to breathe on anything resembling art. 15-Sep-2019
Goldie imports her star and her art whilst Amy conveys snarky rebellion. The film is daring dispensing mayhem and barbarity when the climate of the audience is sensitive. It may show better at a future time. (I still laughed.) 15-Mar-2019
Bad Teacher (2011)
So mean that it renders the characters inhuman. 07-Dec-2018
All Eyes On Me (2017)
I don't understand the sanctification. Only reality befits his truth. He was a musician with a thug problem. 29-Nov-2018
Confessions of a Pop Performer (1975)
It's a constant pile-up you can't stop watching. 25-Sep-2018
Call Me By Your Name (2017)
Its insulting in its timing and the delusion that a teenager's "me too" is a right of passage. The disparity in size (Hammer's giant) and childlike looks (Timothee Chalamet) adds unseemliness to its presentation. Hammer distributes much awkwardness and little desire, maybe because he realized the discomfort of its subject.
Man/boy love is tricky if you don't account for its repercussions. It doesn't represent the gay community but it indicates that straits will stick it to anything and that uniting in sex will not absolve our confusion.
I'll call you what my first lover/daddy/asshole called himself..."bugarron." 07-Aug-2018
Take Me To The River (2015)
Hillbilly family reunion corrodes when mindless gay teen usurps flamboyance against parental repression. Combustion arises from a "me too" moment wherein the offended family ascribe scaring the "California" out of the teen. It's courageously choreographed and uniquely categorized but when the balloon pops it fizzles. The sexual indiscretion that drives the suspense has no explanation, resolution or respect. Chicken fighting has been ruined. 21-Jun-2018
Collector, The (2009)
Schooling for psychopaths on how to execute an ugly death. It's bloody torture. 20-Jun-2018
Some of the racial tension scored but I've been scared more times by "Alexa." 29-May-2018
Maddening tale about a ridiculous man whose lateness from work inspires him to bail on his wife and daughters to not to have to explain. He moves above the garage to spy on them and become homeless and disgusting, all the while ejaculating the reasons his wife and children have made him a miserable man, none of which is evident. This is an exercise for Bryan Cranston to act up which he obliges like the spirit of Harvey Korman. He's a trainwreck you can't stop watching until the movie veers the train in your face. 22-Mar-2018
Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number! (1966)
What was once a playful satire on the battle of the sexes is today considered educational sex exploitation. It's breezy and disrespectful but its also nervy. The men were talking about how they perceived three generations of women and how the female always acquiesced. Either the women weren't listening or they were content as long as men pretended to care about them. Elke Sommer is courageous sexual dynamite, Phyllis Diller played it like one of the boys and Hope got forgiven for every sexual invective. The movie gets broad and loses its aspiration but it does not need to be erased. It teaches us a history parents cannot. 21-Mar-2018
Extreme Movie (2008)
It belongs locked in a time capsule. Every teenage boy perversion is enacted without respect or acknowledgement of their desire. It is a catapult of "me too" and a denigration of all sexes. Depicting men and women as competitors in love or sex doesn't bode well for a society hellbent on exposing its normality.
When Matthew Lillard exclaims that he can't say that joke because he has two daughters but continues reading it, the movie and the immature men who made it are slanderously defined. 09-Mar-2018
