When they express heart over hate, it soars. 10-Dec-2019
I can't imagine a more wicked performer to bitch about life and eviscerate men. 09-Dec-2019
I'm excited and afraid. 09-Dec-2019
Acquiring empathy for a dad you hate by reliving his memories was invigorating. (Don't fuck it up!) 03-Dec-2019
Jean Smart and Regina King are glorious. Jeremy Irons is a fantastic beast. The creators name drop comic book fantasy without delivering it. Junk is created for the masses but art heightens its subject. Uncertainty makes the audience walk out. 09-Nov-2019
I was going to complain that the corn was killing my daddies (women included) but then Daddy Michael, Daddy Athena and Christmas happened. You bastards! 09-Dec-2019
Welcome back daddies! 25-Sep-2019
Unexpected thoughtfulness. 08-May-2019
I no longer have Buffy but I still have you. The last two episodes wrung every artistic sentiment my mind could withstand. Thank you. 06-Apr-2019
The company allowed the schmuck in me to celebrate Christmas. 02-Dec-2018
The daddy (Bassett and Hines included) heroics are inventive, the pulse quickens with current thinking and our hearts get pulled. 25-Oct-2018
A great action piece can energize an attention span but plugging the acting talent to words that allow them to emote beautifully is sublime. 12-Mar-2018
We're in dire need of heroes to save us and Murphy's latest gift is ready to give them to us. Connie Britton and Peter Krause have returned to dominant form, Angela Bassett is having fun and Oliver Stark is a fragile delicacy. The stunts wallop, the words are thoughtful and inclusive and Ryan and crew are experimental ninjas. 16-Jan-2018
Winter Meeting (1948)
Hulkean war hero has a hard time relinquishing his power to serve God; Bette's in to help. There are reflective moments on mental health when the characters spill and expound. Bette gives the character her established perfection and James Davis is the right giant to pound the rigidity out of her but it defined without comprehensive deduction. 09-Dec-2019
Below Deck (2013-)
Scary horny privileged white women and picking on the black girl because her service on tables and in bed are not up to standard. 04-Dec-2019
A Flintstone marriage proposal was celebrated hypocritically, the Captain won a big dick contest, the camera lingered lovingly on Brian's bulge and the wit was stabby. 05-Nov-2019
The Flintstones entertained toxic female desperation. 21-Oct-2019
The Flintstones rocked the boat as the clones/guests pissed on it. 17-Jan-2019
The only thing that can save this ship is if they hire a "Florence" type from "The Jeffersons" to tell the entitled rich folks to "fuck off." 30-Nov-2017
For those questioning what sexual harassment consists of, last night's episode outlines it perfectly. Shame on you Kate for empowering the privileged creeps and hinting that a "real" yachtee would play along. Protecting your staff should always be the first priority. "Yachtee" must be code word for compliant to braggart perversion. 01-Nov-2017
Katie's wit. The Captain. Eye candy. Fun. 21-Oct-2015
Thing From Another World, The (1951)
Causing terror with good old fashioned Hollywood techniques. The film reboots beautifully because it's brilliant. They delivered a completely terrifying story and trusted the audience to use their imagination. 03-Dec-2019
House Arrest (2019)
Daddy mass resigns from societal distress by home imprisonment. It's a phenomenon worth exploring. The cast is pleasing and energetic, the sets are envy inducing but the comedy sways towards buffoonery. Daddy, Rambo and a cell phone trick clinch it. 01-Dec-2019
Irishman, The (2019)
The film punched a hole in the walls I had built being a mobster's kid which I only recently realized. It deftly displayed the inner workings of what my father's life was as opposed to how I experienced it.
The more the legends stripped to the third layer the more astonishing the outcome. Pacino roared, DeNiro resolved, Pesci divested, Romano rattled, Maniscalco (pants daddy) plundered and Jim Norton was uncanny. The women were prescribed little voice yet supplied haunting images.
Scorcese realized the gangster of today and allowed him to pay for his regrets. 28-Nov-2019
Old feeble men playing dress up. The intensity of the work is evident as is the three hour sacrifice to honor the best of it but most of it is unwarranted. The pros are welcome faces and the force is evident. I'm halfway in and I want to record my experience in parts. The history is concentrated and the genre is foolproof. While I've had highs with many of these men, it feels like they never moved forward or learned from their mistakes. Where's the now gangster? Scorcese masters the downfall of every criminal hero he builds yet the audience always ends up glorifying him. 27-Nov-2019
Please Like Me (2013-2016)
It handled mental health adroitly and it came to a poignantly devastating conclusion. I liked it...a lot. 25-Nov-2019
S3E10. The Christmas episode was a self-awareness revelation. 23-Nov-2019
S3E8. I understand its title, I celebrate how organically and flawed we appear and the icy intent is as sweet as a treat. They are years ahead of us because they are recording us as we live, not how we demanded it to be. 22-Nov-2019
Mamas bless it. 23-Oct-2019
We are discomforted because depictions of reality are. It's not the lab where Chris, Nicole and Hugh were created but it's where life lives. 19-Oct-2019
I looked up information on autism to confirm that they are representing it realistically and they are. Sam is a powerful tool in the family. They are tied and pulled by him, he propels them to reach beyond the limits but they always snap back.
Jennifer Jason Leigh (Elsa) professes symptoms of autism by default. Her motherhood consists of panicking for her special son whilst attempting to care for her lonely daughter. When Jennifer goes naughty she is bathed in organic youth.
I'm informed. 23-Nov-2019
American Horror Story: 1984 (2019-)
S9E9. The Murphyverse met the Whedonverse and it was magical. 20-Nov-2019
S9E7. Standalone horror perfection. 01-Nov-2019
Am I going to have to take viagra for the rest of the season? I never thought I'd need it, but ok. 26-Sep-2019
Simplicity is the best tailored suit for horror. The mythology is trembly and the franchise is freshening up.
Gus Kentworthy can feed a hungry gay senior trailer park with a strip and a flex. Emma Roberts is making all the right choices. Cody Fern is still holding back a layer. Matthew Morrison's penis is LOL. Leslie Grossman works better alone. Billie Lourd wants to steal it and Papa Murph is initiating another squirt test. 22-Sep-2019
Butterfield 8 (1960)
Anatomy of a slut. The downfall of insatiable passion is perception. La Liz pounces, purrs and self-destructs. She is not allowed empowerment because she wont march. She wont march because she's empowered. The dialogue is sharp and reflective, the mothers are concerned and full of wisdom and the men can't think pass their hunger. The honest speak seemed closer to a resolution than the unsighted delusion of today. 17-Nov-2019
Starred Up (2013)
Fixing anger management whilst in prison. Jack O'Connell wholly conveys a ferocious and unchained delinquent with soft edging. Ben Mendelsohn is definitely the dad you don't want raising you in prison. Rupert Friend is the therapist that wants to reform them expressing very well through character evolvement that they can also reform him. Well acted, "candy-colored," well made. A take on the anger that builds in the underprivileged man. 15-Nov-2019
A Summer Place (1959)
Avoiding becoming like our parents by following in their footsteps.
Mother misinformed (Constance Ford) desexualizes and humiliates her daughter because she's afraid of acquiescing to her grunt husband.
The fuckable grunt (Richard Egan) is frustrated but soft wanting to understand the new world while being forced to follow the old.
Graceful mom (Dorothy McGuire) is all want in her eyes of a time passed that has returned.
Drunk daddy (Arthur Kennedy) shovels the truth and blows it in their faces.
Troy Donahue is a dreamy Groot with a slight bigger vocabulary. Beauty is an expression onto itself.
Sandra Dee was the girl next door living in a cloud.
The film was panned but successful. It spoke frankly about sex, it epitomized its time and predestined ours, for each question raised there was a consequence, for every character, a reason. It was a time to question life... the old and the new.
(It deserves restoration.) 13-Nov-2019
How To Be A Latin Lover (2017)
From hunk to chunk. Cliche comedy ease with a different culture. Derbez acquits comedy bravery, Hayek paints with passionate strokes, Taylor and Lavin jolt old ladies upright, Bell resuscitates with sunshine hypocrisy, Lowe institutes and Welch exalts. It's corny and safe, celebrating the importance of family while making us laugh. 11-Nov-2019
