Straight man worries he’s sexist because he doesn’t care his wife is having an affair with a woman

In the letter, the man said he found out about the affair after “months of odd bank transactions, weird absences, and strange smells on her clothes”.

He finally confronted her wife, asking her if she was cheating on him, and she broke down and confessed.

Straight man said he was ‘relieved’ when he found out his wife was having an affair with a woman.
“I was upset until she revealed she was cheating on me with a female co-worker,” the man wrote.

“She apologised profusely and swore that she still loved me and wanted to make our relationship work.

“Oddly, I found myself relieved,” he said.

Malaysia urges women to wear make-up and 'stop nagging' their husbands in 'sexist' ad campaign on how to avoid domestic disputes during coronavirus lockdown

Malaysian authorities have advised women to wear make-up and avoid nagging their husbands during the coronavirus lockdown, sparking accusations of sexism.

The south-east Asian nation has ordered its 32million people to stay at home to stem the spread of the coronavirus, which has infected more than 2,700 people there.

One showed a picture of a couple hanging up clothes together next to a caption that advised women to 'avoid nagging' their husbands.

Another post said women should imitate the squeaky voice of Doraemon, a cartoon robot cat from Japan that is popular across Asia.

Rapper T.I.’s remarks spark NY bill to end virginity tests

New York could bar doctors from performing so-called virginity tests under legislation prompted by the rapper T.I.'s controversial claim that he has a gynecologist check his daughter's hymen annually.

Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages said Tuesday the bill she submitted last month would prohibit medical professionals from performing or supervising such examinations, though it's unclear how common they are in the U.S. New York would also consider it sexual assault when such tests are performed outside of a medical setting.

“It’s medically unnecessary,” the Democrat said. “It's often painful, humiliating, traumatic. All in all, it's a form of violence against women.”

Where Are All Of The Pro-Choice Men?

Abortion rights and reproductive freedom are in jeopardy like never before. The Trump administration has proposed radical cutbacks to Title X, the nation’s only federal grant for family planning services. And now, with the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, Roe v. Wade and the right to safe, legal abortion are in imminent danger. A recently leaked email revealed that Kavanaugh once disputed the description of Roe v. Wade as “settled law” and said it could be easily overruled.

The American people have not been silent in their opposition to Trump and his decidedly anti-abortion Supreme Court nominee. Protests and demonstrations have been ongoing since Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings began on Tuesday. People are standing outside the hearing room holding signs or wearing T-shirts or “Handmaid’s Tale” costumes. Some are even interrupting the hearing itself.

But almost all of the protesters are women.

Texas doctor faces backlash after saying female counterparts make less because they ‘don’t work as hard’

A doctor in Plano, Tex., sparked outrage after he told a medical publication that female physicians make less than men because they “don't work as hard” and prioritize “something else … family, social, whatever."

Medical professionals have since taken Gary Tigges to task on social media for views they say are discriminatory and disproved by most research. Some have criticized the Dallas Medical Journal for highlighting the remarks; others have praised the monthly magazine for exposing them.

The quote appeared in the “Big and Bright Ideas” section of the September edition of the journal as part of a feature asking industry professionals to share their thoughts and potential solutions to the gender pay gap in medicine.

Three Children, Two Abortions
What a woman chooses to do with her body should not be up for debate in 2018.

Abortion should be as inalienable a right as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Supreme Court justices should not be chosen for their opposition to Roe v. Wade. And our country should be pouring its considerable energy and resources into creating the kind of infrastructure that supports the lives of actual babies, once they’re born: universal health care, paid parental leave, subsidized daycare, proper sex education, affordable college, affordable birth control, and easier access to that birth control to keep unwanted pregnancies from happening in the first place (should the women who are lucky enough to get their hands on it have better luck than I did in the game of birth-control roulette).

Supreme Court rules for faith-based pregnancy centers, blocks California disclosure law

The Supreme Court on Tuesday blocked enforcement of a California law that requires faith-based crisis pregnancy centers to notify patients that the state offers subsidized medical care, including abortions.

By a 5-4 vote, the justices said the disclosure rule likely amounts to compelled speech that violates the 1st Amendment. The court did not strike down the California law, but sent the case back to lower courts with instructions that enforcement of key provisions be immediately blocked while the legal challenge continues.

Planned Parenthood cancels abortions in Arkansas after restrictive law is reinstated

Planned Parenthood has been canceling abortion appointments for women in Arkansas this week, after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear a challenge to a state law restricting the procedure.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday effectively let Arkansas' law restricting medication abortions — in which women are given pills that cause a process similar to a miscarriage in the early stages of pregnancy — go back into effect, making Arkansas the only state to restrict use of the abortion pills.

Republican Men Are Against Abortion — Until They Want Their Mistress To Get One

For the GOP, the party of "family values," few things are more destructive to the family — the "bedrock of our nation" — than abortion. Republican men in Congress have made banning legal and safe abortion a cornerstone of their platform, pushing policy that restricts access to the procedure time and time again, as the "sanctity of life" of an unborn fetus is paramount to America's future.

That's all well and good — unless said Republican wants the woman he's having an affair with to get an abortion.

Cosby, Weinstein, Trump and O'Reilly orgy painting shocks VIP guests including Julianne Moore and Brooke Shields

China said she’s considering offering her painting to amfAR for the charity’s May 17 gala in Cannes, France, to combat AIDS. AmfAR has looked to distance itself from former supporters Weinstein and shoe designer Kenneth Cole because of questionable fund-raising activities involving the pair, which led to Cole’s resignation as a board member in February.

Tom Colicchio Called Out "Dick Culture" In The Restaurant World

Chef Tom Colicchio is speaking out about harassment in the restaurant world.

"The recent ‘revelations’ of rampant sexual harassment in the restaurant industry weren’t exactly a shocker to the women working in it. Or the men, for that matter," he wrote in a letter to male chefs posted on Medium on Wednesday.

Last month, chef John Besh stepped down from his company after sexual harassment allegations from more than two dozen women were reported by NOLA.com / The Times-Picayune.

"This isn’t just a matter of a few bad eggs and ?we all know it. For every John Besh splashed across Page Six, we can assume hundreds, if not thousands, more with kitchens just like the ones his female employees described," wrote Colicchio.

Sexual violence on campus must not be tolerated — but using Title IX as a censorship tool is not the answer

What should we do about the scourge of sexual violence on American college campuses?

I don’t know, to be honest. But here’s what I do know: We’ll never get good answers to the question if we silence each other.

When the federal government threw its weight behind sexual-assault victims by invoking Title IX, the 1972 law barring sex discrimination, I celebrated. But now I worry that the law has become a weapon of censorship, which harms the campaign against sexual assault in the guise of assisting it.

Earlier this month, Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos announced that she would be reviewing federal sexual-assault policies to make sure that the rights of the accused as well as of victims were protected. Under a 2011 order issued by the Obama administration, colleges must discipline people accused of sexual assault if a “preponderance of evidence” suggests their guilt.

That’s a much lower bar than “beyond reasonable doubt,” which is the standard in the criminal-justice system. Colleges failing to institute the new rule can be held in violation of Title IX, which puts them at risk of losing federal funding.

Opponents of DeVos immediately claimed that she was undermining the struggle against sexual assault, while supporters congratulated her for bringing due-process concerns into the conversation. But almost nobody noted that Title IX has sometimes been used as a bludgeon against, yes, anyone who questions the use of Title IX.

Arkansas is turning into a modern day Handmaid’s Tale

So far this year, Arkansas has passed more anti-abortion legislation than any other state in the country. Its most recent legislative success found a way to take the choice out of the woman’s hands entirely. HB 1566, or the Tissue Disposal Mandate, forces women seeking abortions to obtain the biological father’s permission before she can have the procedure. The bill passed without any dissent in Arkansas’s house of representatives and is scheduled to go into effect at the end of the month.

GAVIN: It means that women who seek abortions need permission from the biological father before they can undergo the procedure. According to the bill’s primary sponsor, part-time legislator, part-time pastor Kim Hammer, the bill was only created to protect the fetus’s remains

Meaning if a woman has an abusive partner, a bad breakup, or a one-night-stand, she will be forced to get the man’s permission before she can get an abortion.

Oh and of course, the law has no exceptions for rape or incest.
