Pete Davidson Berates University of Central Florida Audience: "You Should Fucking Grow Up"
Pete Davidson on Monday night berated an audience at the University of Central Florida after some people in the crowd took out their phones.
Davidson was captured on video lambasting the crowd for more than a minute, saying he would leave if they did not act accordingly.
"I don't have to be here," said the Saturday Night Live castmember at the tour stop. "I can just give them their money back because I don't give a fuck."
Saying UCF, in his opinion, is in the "middle of fucking nowhere," Davidson called the crowd "privileged little assholes," before making the situation even more uncomfortable.
Parents protest vulgar anti-LGBTQ priest appointed to teach pre-teens at Catholic school
Rev. Erik Richtsteig is supposed to become a new youth pastor working with kids ages four to 15 in Salt Lake City’s Catholic schools. But more than 150 parents have signed a petition opposing his appointment after discovering his anti-LGBTQ and misogynist social media posts.
According to New York Daily News:
“In a post on Facebook, the paper noted, the priest said that images shared by LGBTQ individuals in June (Pride month) looked ‘like a gnome vomited.’
He also would not accept any friend requests from people who had a rainbow filter over their picture.”
He has reportedly also followed Facebook pages with titles like, “Male feminists are p*ssies,” “Right wing extremist” and “Obama has to go.”

Chick-fil-A is about to get thrown off another college campus for being antigay
California Polytechnic State University’s faculty voted overwhelmingly to boot Chick-fil-A from campus.
The Academic Senate is the faculty’s governing body and represents 1300 faculty members at Cal Poly. Last Tuesday, the Academic Senate voted overwhelmingly in favor of a resolution calling on the school to cut ties with Chick-fil-A, citing the corporation’s donations to anti-LGBTQ organizations.
The university’s “values statement includes language that identifies LGBTQ as a classification of individuals that we want to embrace in our diversity and inclusion model,” said Thomas Gutierrez, the vice chair of the Academic Senate who introduced the resolution.
Felicity Huffman, Lori Loughlin among 50 charged in college admissions scam for unworthy kids, prosecutors say
Hollywood actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin have been charged in a nationwide college-entrance cheating scam, according to federal court records unsealed on Tuesday.
Huffman, Loughlin, and 48 other individuals — including a slew of wealthy executives and attorneys — engaged in “large-scale, elaborate fraud” to create a “rigged system” at elite American universities like Yale, Stanford, USC, and UCLA, according to prosecutors. In some cases, they allegedly used imposters to stand in for the children at exams or bribed athletic recruiters to recruit their children, even if they didn’t end up playing that sport in college.
Federal prosecutors cited one example where parents paid a $400,000 bribe to Yale’s women’s soccer coach so that their daughter could attend the school. She didn't play soccer.
The investigation is ongoing, and more parents and coaches are believed to be involved.
Alleged sex-cult leader used ‘Smallville’ stars to recruit women: witness
As beautiful young co-stars in the long-running, Superman-prequel TV series “Smallville,” their biggest problem was dealing with their odd young pal, Clark Kent.
Then Kristin Kreuk and Allison Mack signed up for an upstate seminar run by self-help guru Keith Raniere, and they met a real-life super villain.
Raniere was arrested while on the lam in his $10,000-a-week Mexican villa this week, charged by federal prosecutors with running a violent sex-slave cult called NXIVM (pronounced nexium).
Brunette Kreuk, who portrayed the young Superman’s love interest, Lana Lang, signed up, but got out before female acolytes began getting forcibly branded with cauterizing pens.

Broadway legend Ben Vereen accused of sexually assaulting and harassing actresses during production of ‘Hair’
When Ben Vereen held auditions for “Hair” at a community theatre in Florida in 2015, the Tony winner said he wanted to break new ground with the rock musical.
But in a sickening twist, several young actresses cast in the show claim the Broadway legend’s sexually abusive behavior nearly broke them.
The women — part of the Venice Theatre production outside of Tampa — say Vereen forced unwanted kisses, hugged them aggressively, stripped naked during an acting exercise and made degrading comments about their weight, sex appeal and personal lives.

Professor's resignation after death threats highlights uncomfortable truth
Until recently, George Ciccariello-Maher was an anonymous political science professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia. However, of late a white-hot mob has threatened him -- and his child -- so gravely that he is now teaching via a video feed. This week he announced he's resigning out of concern for his family's safety: "My situation has become unsustainable," he explained on his Facebook account.
Surely Ciccariello-Maher said something racist or, to use the dominant term of art, white supremacist? No -- the people issuing a fountain of death threats against him all year have been from the right.
A year ago, Ciccariello-Maher tweeted a wry joke -- "All I Want for Christmas is White Genocide" -- in the vein of the self-critical "That's so white" meme now popular among Blue Americans. He said the tweet was a "satirical jab at a certain paranoid racist fantasy and that white genocide does not exist."
Florida State University bans Greek life after student death
Florida State University President John Thrasher has announced a ban on all fraternities and sororities following the death of a student after a house party Friday.
"I want to send a serious message, I really do," said Thrasher. "We've got a serious problem."
FSU student, 20-year-old Andrew Coffey of Pompano Beach was found unresponsive at about 10:25 a.m. Friday, the morning after a house party about a mile from campus. Coffey, a Pi Kappa Phi fraternity pledge, was given medical treatment but died on the scene.
Man handing out neo-Nazi fliers at California college gets punched in the face
The neo-Nazi punching trend continues.
A man handing out neo-Nazi fliers on the California Polytechnic State University got slugged in the face by a masked assailant, campus police said.
The man was passing out fliers on the San Luis Obispo campus Wednesday, with Nazi symbols and the terms “American Nazi Party and Symbol of White Power.”
Police responded to an initial call about the man, but took no action because the fliers are protected free speech, according to the Mustang News student newspaper.

When the man returned the next day to hand out more fliers, a suspect with a covered face punched him and ran away.

Milo Yiannopoulos is trying to convince colleges that hate speech is cool
"Thank you for what you're doing," says another college student wearing a Donald Trump hat.
The subject of their adulation is not a rock star or a crusading politician but Milo Yiannopoulos, 32, an outspoken editor for the far-right Breitbart News. He's on a flamethrowing tour of college campuses -- including an event Wednesday night at UC Berkeley that was canceled after protests became violent -- and has made it his goal to take on the traditionally left-leaning college establishment.
"I just want to burn it down," Yiannopoulos said in an interview last month with CNN. "I am speaking on college campuses because education ... is really what matters. It's a crucible where these bad ideas are formed. Bad ideas like ... progressive social justice, feminists, Black Lives Matter ... that I think is so cancerous and toxic to free expression."
TUFTS UNIVERSITY SHUTS DOWN FRATERNITIES FOLLOWING GAY STUDENT’S CLAIMS OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT
As a result of a story in the student newspaper The Tufts Observer that alleges sexual misconduct, Massachusetts’ Tufts University has shut down social activities at four of its fraternities pending investigation.
“Fraternities claim to be founded on values like ‘brotherhood’ and ‘loyalty’ and ‘trust,’ but in reality are institutions rooted in White supremacy, queerphobia, heterosexism, and transphobia,” gay student Ben Kesslen says in his piece, an op-ed titled “Abolish Fraternities,” published last month.
Kesslen claims that upon pledging a fraternity he was subjected to hazing, and, more specifically, was forced to watch sex acts in the frat house’s basement.
‘My college fired me as coach for reporting a sexual assault’
A former college wrestling coach has filed a federal lawsuit claiming the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater fired him after he reported a sexual assault allegation to police instead of the school.
Timothy Fader is suing the university’s athletic director and former chancellor for wrongful termination and defamation, alleging his police report made it more difficult for the school to cover up the allegations.
Fader had been contacted by a mother of a former UW-Whitewater student in April 2014, saying her daughter had been sexually assaulted by a wrestling recruit.
Report reveals colleges requesting religious exemptions
The U.S. Department of Education has published new documents that identify religious colleges that have sought and received exemptions from Title IX.
The controversial waivers allow the colleges to receive federal funding without violating their religious beliefs. As of April 1, 232 colleges had obtained a religious exemption from Title IX and 31 requests are pending, according to the department.

FOUR REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES SIGN PLEDGE TO VOID ALL SAME-SEX MARRIAGES
Four Republican Presidential candidates have signed a pledge to void the marriages of thousands of same-sex couples.
The National Organization for Marriage asked all Republican candidates to pledge support for a new constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman, and voiding the thousands of existing same-sex weddings across all 50 states, alongside asking them to “prevent the promotion of a redefined version of marriage in public schools,” and protect “the right of organizations and individuals” who disagree with same-sex marriage.
So, basically it asked them to take away our human rights, pretend we don’t exist, and then discriminate against us when we do walk through their door. Classy.
Normally, shock and awe would follow if any of the candidates signed a petition so homophobic and ridiculous, but the Republican candidates are so out of touch that nothing really surprises us anymore.
