Will & Grace (2017-) Woof

The show energizes when there are dashes of brilliance that made it. The bi-sexual episode was tart, spoke for each generation and fulfilled a compromise. 09-Feb-2020
Snide and sweet. 13-Mar-2019
Exposing our weaknesses will force our strength to come out. Good job. 02-Dec-2018
The waitress killed it, the drag punched it and Grace/father/writers greatly punctuated "me too." Joy. 05-Nov-2018
Each actor hit an old note and the quickfire delivery allowed us to laugh with them. Tacky looks good on us. 08-Oct-2018
The teen girls deserve a sequel and Debra Messing got in touch with the Grace we all know and love. 12-Mar-2018
Allow them to grow up in character and we might never leave. 06-Nov-2017
There were times that Mullaly's Karen and Hayes' Jack were teetering on caricatures of themselves but all gets forgiven when we heave our first laugh. The politics are sharp, the hard work is evident and our love is unwavering. Welcome Back. 01-Oct-2017

IZombie (2015 -) WoofDowngradeArfEarly Exit

I wanted to finish it but a constant character shift and the silliness that accompanies it trumped everything I loved about it. 30-Aug-2019
Not a stellar season because they forgot that mythology trumps "case of the week." The only constant is that the characters are still funny and very squishy. 21-Jul-2017
The finale is what mythologies in these kind of shows are made of. Every episode we watched earlier was referenced for a very climactic ending and tied all the bows together. I am very proud. It was Buffylicious. 16-May-2016
Goes down light, easy and sweet. 21-Oct-2015

How to Get Away With Murder (2014 -) Woof

Good old-fashioned entertainment. 01-Mar-2019
As sweet as it was tough. 06-Dec-2018
It's so nice to see black men with balls. I'm talking about Viola and Shonda. 08-Oct-2018
The babies have embraced suffering (it looks good on them) and Viola finally has an equal sparring partner. Jimmy adds power to the word and breaks the jar that holds the brick-wall contents of Analise's character. Joy. 14-Feb-2018
The Wes mystery passively resolved, the only compel was the gift of Viola's Oscar winning embers. 12-Mar-2017
When you tie too many knots together you may need to snip to unbind which loses the essence of why we initially watched. 13-Nov-2016
Please give this woman a worthy sparring partner. 21-Oct-2016
I would watch Viola Davis wash dishes. Nothing compares to that. Some man candy but nothing. 12-Nov-2015

Fear the Walking Dead (2015 -) Woof

It almost sank but good actors and some able writing pulled it through. Rocking steady. 01-Oct-2018
You turned inwards for the "big bad" and it was brilliant.

Tip of the hat for how much more beautiful Alicia has become since kickass has been introduced as her attitude.

Ruben Blades has become what Locke was to Lost... "love to hate." 26-Oct-2017
The family dynamic became tighter and the show confronted racial dissension. That history goes around and reparations must be met only added to the chill. Dayton Callie erupted resolutely. 11-Jul-2017
Action trumps character and shock trumps story and I think I'm okay with that. 14-Oct-2016
The writers need to find a way for their words and storylines to dignify these characters so we can comprehend why we are obliged to view them. 21-Sep-2016
It is very difficult to get into this show as quickly as the original because the families are tough to empathize with. As usual, the action pieces continue to be creative and nail biting. The second season allows the kids to take over and they have our attention for now. Frank Dillane thrills as a Johnny Depp clone and Alycia Debnam-Carey has the beauty and the sympathy (though her hair looks too fabulous for the apocalypse.) Lorenzo James Henrie is our new "love to hate." 22-May-2016

Million Dollar Listing NY (2012 - ) WoofEarly Exit

Gaybies and greed. Out. 08-Sep-2018
Kudos to Frederich for introducing gentrification to ego and greed. Steve Gold keeps the heart pumping as well as the mind confused. Luis is WTF and daddy Ryan's beard doesn't let us enjoy his emote as much, because art needs a blank canvas to fully appreciate. 17-Sep-2017
They kind of broke my heart at end of this season, esp. Luis. 15-Jul-2016
I can find myself quitting them at any moment and not in the next. Someone has to document how greed and overindulgence will eradicate the classic in NY and this is historical proof. No one is redeemable because they all work against the state. Who do the rich think is going to serve them when they drive all the poor away? They will suffer attempting self implementation. There's only one favorite amongst the amusing sock puppets and his name is Ryan. 13-May-2016

Sense8 (2015 -2018) HowlUpgradeFull Moon

The sex was terrific.

It pulled from all of us and temporarily created a beautiful landscape and a force. They were our Mod Squad and art inspiration. Credit to the Wachowskis for creating the world we should be living in and for always arousing us with forward action sequences. In another time this might have been our anthem but America doesn't sing anymore. 01-Jul-2018
Its underappreciation may be due to time and how forward the message of power in inclusivity registers. Each 8 represents a struggling community that with aide, strife can be eased and joy enhanced.

The mythology may confuse but when all wicks (acting, action, sex, character development, koolness, heart and beauty) are turned on, its' fireworks. 13-Aug-2017
So fun, delirious and high. It's reaching for somewhere we want to go. Love the intertwining stories and characters. Thanks for the inclusion and the sizzling latino gay. It's a head-punch. 03-Nov-2015

Alex Strangelove (2018) Woof

It's "the" gay teen romp of our time. Its balls are huge, the introspections are clear and the voices are true. It feels like home because it doesn't pander to us and its funny. 14-Jun-2018

Americans, The (2013-2018) Full Moon

Choices were devastatingly wrapped, the actors wrung every drop from a thoughtful script and the suspense kept us aghast and keenly aware that you don't have to be an American to remind us what it represents. Killed it. 31-May-2018
Paige's (Holly Taylor) turn consisted of ripping into mama. Awesome. 26-May-2018
Noah Emmerich's twitch is enjoyable character signification. Margo brought forth her no-nonsense presentiment and mommy and super daddy had a face-off. When Phillip carefully confronts Elizabeth with defiant truths, Keri Russell's face tells us what she's thinking and later confirms it by beautifully vocalizing it. Its genius. 18-May-2018
Mama wrecks and super daddy woke up to thrill us with a daughter life-lesson. 27-Apr-2018
This week's episode was razor cut. It registered after the series' most romantic statement and as a nightmare every parent of any child would like to avoid. Judgment reared it's acidity and Holly Taylor's Paige delivered it as the irritating and paradoxical teen we've learned to regard. 09-May-2017
The sticks remain properly placed. It's a welcome to see Margo Martindale back where she's allowed to play like we like and she deserves. 05-Apr-2017
Homeland stopped being this show as soon as it erased the family dynamic and started exploring its spy cred. Game of Thrones brags about how intellectual they are, The Americans just thinks. 03-Jun-2016
There are performers who act like they have sticks up their butts:

-- a high strung Spanish opera comes to mind (Bryan Cranston)

-- there are also artists so comfortable that they choose to sit on that stick and break it (Alison Wright, Margo Martindale)

-- but only one can unnerve us with reserved emotion by making us feel like "we" have a stick up our butts (Keri Russell)

-- while another conveys such panty creaminess and ferocity that he makes you feel like you have his stick up your ass and you better like it (Matthew Rhys)

-- and finally the faultless good hearts (Holly Taylor, Annet Mahendru, Noah Emmerich) born into the disorder that you have to scream back at your screen to take that stick out.

They can shove their art in my face anytime. 03-Jun-2016
How exciting and intelligent, understatement can be. 02-Jun-2016

Stripped (2017-) Woof

Built to exploit, humiliate and frustrate. It doesn't become until the final episode introduces us to Richie Skye who actually defines the experiment. Good for him and us. 02-Feb-2018

Marvel: Runaways (2017-) Woof

PLL mystery profusion vs Marvel magic light. The mamas of every persuasion can handily evaporate frost, the teens lead and the fathers have yet to turn on their pilot light. I hope McMahon U-turned and picked up the mojo he dropped so he can grace us with great man squish. 16-Dec-2017

Teen Wolf (2011 -2017)  Woof

You could never define what you were but we can't complain when the squish alert was so high. I didn't know Colton could do that with his tail. 24-Sep-2017
I still have no idea how anything correlates but the optical is cool and the characters are all heart tugging. 02-Feb-2017
You are so lucky you guys are so likeable and squishy because you are incomprehensible lately. The mythology is broken. 18-Mar-2016

I'm A Porn Star: Gay 4 Pay (2016) Arf

Only one porn star dares to answer the question of "why?" The rest skirt it and invent different feelings for it or they just want to continue to be paid more. It's all fantasy. 17-Sep-2017

Catastrophe (2015 -) Woof

Foreign and familiar. It's scathing but courageous enough to be sentimental when need be. Cheers. 03-Nov-2015

Leftovers, The (2014 -) Woof

The last season is difficult to watch. The coherence doesn't manifest itself until episode 6. It was heartbreak via a soulful cast.

The 7th spins your head around but I was laughing along with the writers, as it grew more preposterous. An ode to Alias was appreciated as was the dependable grand daddy squish, Theroux.

By the last, the mindfuck returned and we were left with a vague answer. I appreciate mystery and sometimes it is fun to ponder on our own except no clues were dumped. We didn't pose the question that made us watch so it was up to the writers to answer it. 10-Jun-2017
Jesus or a dog. Please be a dog. 19-Apr-2017
My kind of mindfuck. That music gets me. 21-Oct-2015

Mariah's World (2016 -) Arf

Mariah makes it seem so difficult to be a woman and so complicated to be a pop star. The moments of joy only occur when Mariah's light flicks off but most of the time she is on and allowing others control. I do hope for her sake that she is as happy as she presents because there isn't much to envy. Her world is so small. I don't understand why she is in constant bedrest. The lasting effect is that Mariah is a gold post whereas all the stray alley cats take turns nuzzling and scratching at her until she flakes out and rusts. 10-Jan-2017
