Wonder Twins versus Freddy Krueger. Sister's superpower is to have 4K dreams of abused boys and brother makes public phones ring. Sibling effects after surviving catastrophe doesn't blend with their present choices. What makes them think they can help anyone when they should be avoiding mental imbalance by obsessing over teenage things. The set-up was an excuse and the love interest looked like the brother which kept jolting me awake confused as to why she was making out with her brother. The film tries tying all it's knots together but they don't hold and it gives way to Carrie/Pazuzu awakenings and It tomfoolery. Boys without dicks equal women with power. 18-May-2026
One Battle After Another (2025) 
Teyana Taylor's soulless character stood out for all the wrong reasons. A stereotypical performance with fake bravado. I was relieved when she was done. Not only did I have to contend with a mime signing for the deaf on the corner of my screen with no off button but I was bombarded with a stubborn message that lent no humanity to either side of the argument. I sided with no one. If the solution was to keep fighting why leave their country to burden another and lose out on fixing their own? Why go to another country to hate on those people? If I had nose hairs I would have pulled them out just so I could feel something. It was an unbearable watch that had no artistic value or entertainment pursuit. Penn's walk was a major comic relief, DiCaprio went gut deep, the presentation was ugly and the slog was grimacing. I was getting punched for no reason, like riding a NY subway to work. 19-Dec-2025
In primitive times God created giant trolls to balance carbon emissions. Christians came along and fucked that up. Revenge polluted the air and the trolls were abolished. A favorite scientific "fairy tale" expert is once again involved when a new troll shows up. Daddy soldier is back without a green arrow or opinions. Beautiful was as ugly as the rest and didn't deserve that name. It was useless, anyway. I spent a lot of time laughing, the dub was ridiculous and made the actors cheesy. I tried playing this game and became frustrated with all the things I had to build. Why would I want to build ugly shit? I hated it. Hats off to Momoa for choosing the loser role. Black brought the energy but not the charisma. The children looked dirtier than the adults so they didn't register. I wanted to yank Momoa's stupid wig off. TG they hired some minorities to qualify for Oscars. Always silly, sometimes funny with no substantial skills taught to kids. 23-Jun-2025
Well acted characters that didn't initiate much sympathy. The hooker is content in her work, minds her own business, learned nothing about men or how things work. The heroine's gullibility was exasperating. Every time a character was introduced to another was mostly awkward. The only character that conveyed inner thoughts was Igor. Once elements of The Hangover commenced the ridiculousness didn't stop. Silly hijinks and mobster blunders. Dreams dashed by love and parents. Spoiled brats and power images. Anything will do when the choices are none. Certain things don't need to have a point to hit a nerve but this one was spin cycling. I couldn't catch a word. 18-Mar-2025
Dwayne Johnson's voice calmed me down, Scherzinger can belt one out, the songs weren't Nickelodeon worthy, the adventure is inanity that applied no sense and didn't teach the kids anything. Why do we always look to the past to celebrate a culture? In reality they would have cooked Pua at the first celebratory feast. The spiritualization represented is not feasible. It's full of nonsensical magic and bullshit. Disney's animated films have become babysitters for children and nap time for adults. The film takes cinema out of the equation. 17-Mar-2025
It's more of an exercise than it is an accomplishment. I stayed tuned because the man who cracks dicks with his ass is charming as fuck. None of the support matches him. The symbiotes' history did not have enough humanity to make me care. The action sequences depended heavily on coincidence. The chemistry between Mrs. Chen and Mr. Hardy was wasted. The threat was so surreal that it became mute. I stayed to memorize Hardy's butt but he didn't turn around much. 01-Mar-2025
Hartnett's choice of psycho was goofy and almost unbearable to watch. The close-ups where he talks directly into the camera were off-putting and silly. The nepo concert felt endless and obvious. The father/daughter dynamic was thin and cardboard. They didn't show how Josh got from one place to another, he was just there. All the answers landed so simply that it trashed the clues. The twist was great as a spoken word but without presentation it's null. The home life doesn't enter until the end when we no longer give a fuck. Maybe it should have started there and include the daughter in the plot. She realizes he's psycho and has to kill him. But how?! 27-Oct-2024
They couldn't follow up the original story so they made shit up. I wanted to see the devil fuck a jackal. In what Walt Disney world is that not possible? It took cues from The Nun without inhabiting what made the original Omen successful. Actors we cared about bringing a terrific book to life. A score that lives in my eternal memory. A director that defined it without judging it. Damien-Omen II's foreboding notes would have given the movie strength and fan base pleasure throughout, if they had thought to use it. 01-Jun-2024
I tried watching through the eyes of a child and it confused me. What do you mean that man has my wish. I made ten wishes yesterday and two came true. I don't even remember that one wish everybody's talking about. Fuck it. It's only one. The film has Ariana DeBose energy and a Barbie stance. DeBose is so excited to show us what she's got that she faux climaxes before she has to. Some of the songs actually sounded musical. Pine's Shatner was so good that it stunk. The last man with a working penis is stealing little girl dreams. (None of the dreams were to marry a man to save them?) The women and some of their friends band together to destroy him. Some of the friends consisted of weak or mentally disabled boys and feeble grandfathers with no reach. I presume we had to look towards the animals to find culture representation. No gays in sight. It was difficult to establish how the animatronics were killing people. They never showed it. It was directed for wimps who are scared of horror movies. The reason for living animatronics is an overused one. They couldn't be aliens? How the fuck did that animatronic get in the car? They do not bend easily. The pace had no time to set-up character appreciation, it had a billion particles to settle. The family dynamic was food, drink, celebration and insanity. George Lopez added comedy schtick to his act. He looked like a character booted from Bedrock because he was too loud and ornery. The breast queen should be playing Lady MacBeth not becoming a free TV actor. I can see her washing blood from her hands and implementing Elvira's cleavage cut. The rest of the family and the leads apply stereotypes without explaining them. There is no such thing as a stereotype because it's only a description of our heritage. Universal speak. Nobody passed the classic TV Q test and the silliness hardly stopped. The best of the mythology turned into a fiesta. The family went everywhere together. Really? When did they masturbate? Why did the family get superpowers? Beetle's nemesis was a bigger and badder version of himself. Couldn't we have gotten something a little different? If the production wanted to fill the female quota, why didn't they concoct some awesome female villains? He has lots and no villain is scarier than a latin woman scorned. It failed when the lead's true identity was revealed. Michael Keaton's Batman was a CGI hillbilly that bored us to death. We can't accept a punk rock Supergirl until we tire of blondes. Fortune will come as soon as the audience forgets who these fuckers were. 29-Sep-2023
