Love Island Australia (2018-)
I missed the UK version so much that I resorted to this backup. This is a different animal, full of seriousness and ferocity.
The men are cave dwellers and the women, the suppliers that keep toxic men conquering.
If all a woman wants is bigness, handsomeness, grunting and darkness you are forsaking the feminist dream.
The brutality of what each sex stands for baffles me. 29-Jun-2020
Never Have I Ever (2020-)
Female driven fairytale of teen empowerment. To obtain such merit, a girl must prioritize "the shortcuts," suppress the lower stereotypes, pounce on a superior royal animal and have it grant her that royal fucking that will liberate her. (So, all girls think.) I don't remember kids talking like this, I hope kids aren't talking like this and I definitely hope they don't start. One episode of unawareness, lack of emotional study and an honest laugh, had me bolting. In fairytales there are no lessons without a witch.
Niecy Nash glimmered gingerly. 08-May-2020
It's ok. The next two had me eye rolling. 16-Oct-2019
Uh oh. The third episode on racism, made me laugh. 30-Sep-2019
Even though Ferrera and Feldman are super cute, the characters are super cocky with no discerning bulge to back them up. It integrates social media topics to appear cool but its view doesn't distinguish it. 29-Sep-2019
Emmy Awards (2019)
I tuned in as radio while I prepared dinner. I missed the first hour because there was important wine to drink but I tuned at the beginning of the second. Almost everything I hated won. Hollywood creates realistic art but has trouble appearing realistic. Billy added flair and Halsey held my attention, everything else was soap. We need to be convinced that human representation isn't a part-time job. Being politically correct has made everyone boring. The host wasn't the problem. 22-Sep-2019
Schitt's Creek (2015-)
Histrionic and unfledged bullshit. 02-Sep-2019
Jerry Lewis Show, The (1963)
I wanted to assess my child adoration for this man's art. As an adult my lack of patience warns me that he borrowed faces from the mentally hurt to shine a light on their hilarity. It feels wrong. 19-Dec-2018
Saturday Night Live (2018-)
My lover and I quit you. 30-Sep-2018
Matt revved it up, Rachel graced it, the steadies couldn't overcome it, the host is best I don't mention and Kanye shat all over it. His disdain for all art was evident on song #1, negligence of talent and profanity (titgate? really?) towards women appeared second and historic irrationality capped the finale. He was a man who had sold his soul to the devil even if it betrayed his race and himself. Trump deserves him.
It made me angry and in need of a horror bath. 30-Sep-2018
Kevin Can Wait (2016 -)
It's obvious the writer's don't write people. Only a wheelchair can keep me bound to this. 23-Apr-2018
Replacing an actress is not going to make a show better. Replacing the writers, on the other hand, might get you out of the dumpster you all landed in. 01-Oct-2017
Sometimes it seems James is the only one working to tickle us. Every performer is a cutout of the comedy formula, a little spent and not at all enterprising. The chemistry created during The Chore Weasel between Kevin and Andrew Ridings is the acid match it's star is worthy of. Unless the support wakes up, Kevin will remain atop but alone. 14-Oct-2016
Jay Pharoah: Can I Be Me? (2015)
Hell no. I don't like being served crayons and a coloring book menu with my comedy. 19-Dec-2017
Will & Grace: A Gay Olde Christmas (2017)
We tuned to watch beloved characters celebrate the meaning of Christmas instead they served up "made up" performing a high school production of Dickens. The laughs were minimal and the dismay for the next season, scary. 07-Dec-2017
SNL: David S. Pumpkins Animated Halloween Special (2017)
If you can make us lose patience with a Tom Hanks character, you are doing it wrong.
You can't diffuse the voices of actors we like to hear, it mutes the point.
It's bad even by a 70's standard. 31-Oct-2017
A show whose brilliance was capped by Matt LeBlanc's self-deprecating humor and broken because of twit comedy. Good riddance. 26-Sep-2017
Seinfeld (1989 - 1998)
It fell off my top list because it eschewed a lack of humanity in sitcom that spilled into everyday life. 29-Jun-2017
I rewatched all the seasons except the first one because its irrelevant. The second season is not so great either. There are two and half seasons of greatness and then it coasts and tires. Waiting for something funny and smart to arise again becomes insufferable. Larry David wrote the worst "fuck you" finale ever but who is it directed to? The audience, production or the cast? That is the question. 19-Sep-2015
Alec Mapa: Baby Daddy (2014)
For such a broad personality, the comedy is pretty basic. He only made me laugh for a minute or two. I liked his Bette Davis but the daddy shtick overwhelms and exhausts. He spends most of the hour screeching about his kid whilst claiming to love him and since most of us don't partake of this lifestyle, we watch uncomfortably knowing the responsibility of raising any child is more than wearing an accessory and nothing to laugh at. 05-May-2017
Girls (2012 - 2017)
Great exemplification of how fresh brilliance can easily become arrogant irritation. 12-Jan-2017
