He once danced on Broadway. Now he’s behind bars after murdering his lover
Marcus Bellamy was a performer. He danced on Broadway as part of “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark” and a replacement performer for “Tarzan.” He even has a few television and movie roles in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “Smash,” and “Across the Universe.”
Now, his resume includes his latest role: convicted murderer. Bronx Supreme Court Justice John W. Carter sentenced Bellamy to 20 years in prison on Tuesday for the murder of his partner.

What Gay Men Want In A Relationship
Gay relationships have a lot of similarities with heterosexual relationships. Gay men like to have meaningful relationships though they face challenges that all men face on the dating scene. Naturally, men are not socialized to be intimate since this is perceived as weakness. Gay men who enter into a relationship also have to contend with worries about the promiscuity of their partners. Intimacy requires vulnerability which is not easy since men who are gay often get exposed to negative cultural messages. This emanates from the fact that gays are treated shamefully by the society which makes it hard to be vulnerable. At times gay men get harassed and bullied for not conforming to the standards of the society.

Bridgerton (2026)

The bon bons were chocolatey and delicious. The players remain irresistible and the newbies matched them. It was nice to see Anthony but the actor playing him kept downplaying himself. A fairytale re-written by a fantasy show that applies reason to magic. Coincidences abound, romance was genuine, the support was better than mice, the chemistry was outstanding, production exquisite, writing was sharp and sentimental and wands aren't the only way to conjure magic. 09-Mar-2026
Another study shows homophobic language isn’t linked to rejection of gay athletes
Another new study from Monash University again demonstrates that athletes using gay slurs don’t mean to convey messages of homophobia to their teammates, and in fact believe their teams would be welcoming places for gay athletes.
The study focused on 146 semi-professional ice hockey players in Australia. The sample group included a good mix of players from North America, Europe and Australia.
One of the most illuminating parts of the study looked at why athletes use gay slurs. Some of the results:
55% because they want to make people laugh
46% think the language is normal, so no one thinks about it
6% want to insult or bully others who are gay
1% say they are homophobic

Jail for woman who posed as man on Grindr and stalked young male couple
A judge has jailed a woman who posed as a gay man on Grindr then harassed a man and falsely accused his boyfriend of being a pedophile.
The woman used multiple identities to harass the couple. She circulated private sexual images and even sent men looking for sex to their house.
Yannick Glaudin, 31, carried out her campaign of harassment in the UK and she pleaded guilty to all the offenses in July 2018. But she evaded justice for over a year by then fleeing to her native France.
However, French authorities extradited her back to Britain in January under a European arrest warrant. And she appeared before a judge at the Inner London Crown Court in Southwark, south London.

Fast fashion is 'choking Africa in dead white people's clothes'
Parts of Africa are drowning in millions of used garments the fast fashion industry ships over each year - even though big names like H&M and Zara have made pledges to recycle the used clothing.
H&M, a major offender in the industry, produces three billion garments a year alone and only recycles about 10 percent of them - the rest is shipped to places like Accra, the capital of Ghana, where there are heaps of used clothing flooding waterways.

By the time you sit on our planes, 'you're just pissed at the world'
United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz acknowledged key pain points customers face when traveling today, including airlines' increasingly shrinking seat sizes.
"I think we are nearing a point certainly that we can't do that anymore," Munoz told ABC News. The interview was conducted prior to the U.S. grounding of the Boeing 737 Max.
He said that air travel used to be a thrilling experience but has turned into a laborious process.
"It's become so stressful," he told the outlet, "from when you leave, wherever you live, to get into traffic, to find a parking spot, to get through security."

Tampa Bay Rays players refused to wear a Pride rainbow
Can you imagine the club that would allow a player to opt out of wearing a 42 on his jersey for Jackie Robinson Day? Or refuse to wear some camo for a Military Appreciation Day? Complete disaster.
Unfortunately, the Rays management approached this differently, allowing homophobia amongst a handful of 20-somethings to drive the uniforms that some of the players wore.
