Chef Cat Cora claims ex-wife is out to ‘destroy’ her

Celebrity chef Cat Cora claims her life has been made a living hell by her ex-wife Jennifer Cora.

The “Iron Chef” star, 53, was married to Jennifer for just two years but they had a 17-year relationship and share four sons: Zoran, 16, Caje, 13, Thatcher, 11, and Nash, 11.

The divorce was finalized in 2016, but Cat alleges Jennifer’s “wanting to destroy my life at any cost” began in 2015 and has continued unabated, Cat recently told Page Six, calling it “a nightmare that I can’t wake up from.”

‘Cuties’ Financier Argues ‘Ultra-Conservatism’ Is Threatening ‘Freedom of Expression’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Netflix’s “Cuties” may be receiving a torrent of backlash out of North America, but France’s film industry is standing in support of Maimouna Doucouré’s feature debut. On Tuesday, the country’s authors, directors and producers guild, La Société civile des Auteurs Réalisateurs et Producteurs, known as ARP, said calls for the film’s boycott are a “grave attack on freedom of creation” carried on by the “most conservative of Americans.”

A campaign waged against Netflix over “Cuties” and the film’s sexualized portrayal of children produced a surge in U.S. subscription cancellations over the weekend, according to research company YipitData, and the Council on American-Islamic Relations out of Washington, D.C., is the latest org to call on the streaming giant to pull the film due to, it claims, a stereotypical portrayal of Muslims.

In France, the film was released on Aug. 19 without any restrictions and was considered suitable for all audiences. It triggered some debate, but not any backlash. We received unanimous praise in the local press, from L’Humanité to Le Figaro, Telerama and Le Monde. We want people to watch the film and realize it’s about many issues: It’s about being Black and living in France, in a society dominated by white people; it’s about being a woman; it’s about the identity conflict that a child can feel between a traditional, conservative upbringing and everyday life at school. Twerking is a small part of the movie. (The film is rated TV MA — Mature Audiences by Netflix in the U.S.).

Bright Light Bright Light Says He's Tired of Feeling 'Invisible' to the Gay Community

Even in a community outwardly campaigning for inclusion and acceptance, exclusion and judgement still exist on a personal level. Now, Bright Light Bright Light is shedding a light on his experience with that phenomenon within the LGBTQ community.

“Feeling like I belonged within the gay community I think has been a bit of a struggle," he said. "The LGBTQ+ community is such a vast umbrella; everyone is so different and trying to work out where you belong within that is hard. It kind of presumes that everybody queer gets on with each other, which they don’t, and that everyone is alike, which they’re not.”

Thomas also said that he wasn't considered "body-appropriate" to some in the community, which made him constantly feel like he was an outsider within a space built for him. “It doesn’t matter because those people don’t matter," he explained. "But I found that a huge struggle -- feeling invisible or not welcome in queer spaces -- even more heart-breaking than not being welcome in heterosexual spaces, because these spaces are there for everybody that needs them.”

Christian group threatens to hang gay people ‘in a loving way’ in terrifying leaked WhatsApp messages

The LGBT+ community in the Cayman Islands is on high alert after leaked messages revealed a Christian group threatening to “hang one or two” gay people.

The “disturbing and dangerous” messages, first reported by the Cayman Compass, were anonymously leaked by a member of a Christian WhatsApp group.

In one, a member suggests “maybe hang one or two [gay people] in a loving way” as a warning to others.

Another message suggested implementing teachings from the Quran to criminalise homosexuality, reading: “If this was a Muslim country, they’d be [thrown] out by the thousands.”

50 Cent says the “biggest target” of cancel culture is “heterosexual males”

Talking to Variety, 50 Cent said: “I’m an entertainer, so to entertain is, I believe, to provoke emotion… I don’t believe I can be cancelled.

“They gotta go to jail to get canceled, they gotta shoot a girl,” he added, appearing to reference Megan Thee Stallion’s recent claim that Tory Lanez shot her in both feet in an incident earlier this year.

“You gotta do something extremely bad to be cancelled, and I think it’s so unfair to the people that are cancelled.”

Trey Songz Responds to Sexual Assault and Misconduct Allegations From Celina Powell and Her Friend

Trey Songz has responded to sexual assault and misconduct allegations against him, including those that were recently laid out in a No Jumper interview with Celina Powell and her friend Aliza.

In a series of tweets shared early Wednesday, the singer said that he would typically not make public statements of this nature but felt compelled to do so.

"You will choose [to] believe what you want," he said. "I've been focusing my energy and time on good things and I know the Devil wants my soul more now than ever."

Y’all remember Jane Doe claimed I sexually assaulted her in Miami? She wants me to pay for her therapy and the rest of her school cause of “all the trauma she’s been through.”

BLM leader Hawk Newsome defends looters, compares America to ‘terrorists’

“The thing is, he’s talking about mothers and fathers who are out there protesting,” said Newsome, the co-founder of Black Lives Matter of Greater New York.

MacCallum, the host of “The Story,” clarified that Giuliani was referring to the looters who destroy businesses.

“OK, so when America goes and steals diamonds and oils, who’s calling us terrorists?” Newsome responded. “When the American government goes and pillages different countries, who’s calling us terrorists?”

MacCallum then asked Newsome for his response to a clip of Ariel Atkins, a BLM activist in Chicago, who said looting was a form of reparations.

He pivoted the conversation to white supremacy.

Jay Manuel Explains Why His Friendship With Tyra Banks Soured

America’s Next Top Model is just as famous for its contestants as it is for the show’s creators and judges. Fans remember Jay Manuel as the models’ coach at each photoshoot. Manuel’s off-screen role was as a famous makeup artist and close friend of Tyra Banks. Fans speculated that his exit from the reality show is the reason for his relationship with Banks changing for the worse. In a new interview, Manuel explains what led to the breakdown of his friendship with Banks.

Manuel says working on ANTM for the first three seasons was “bubblegum and roses” but the culture behind the scenes of the show began to change as the show became more popular. At first, Manuel had full creative control over the photoshoots but says the show’s executives began enforcing their input, which sometimes made him uncomfortable.

Sasha Grey: Why Hollywood Was Way Creepier Than Porn

I’ve done a lot of reporting on abuse both within Hollywood and the adult industry, and I’m curious: Which did you find to be worse?

Hollywood. Can’t lie. I had far worse experiences in terms of sexual harassment there than I ever did in the adult industry. In the adult industry, I feel like the majority of the negative things I experienced were more ageism-related and manipulating me into thinking I was worth less than I was financially—as salespeople do.

Oprah labeled a ‘fraud’ for calling out ‘white privilege’ since she’s so rich

Winfrey responded, “There are white people who are not as powerful as the system of white people — the caste system that’s been put in place. But they still, no matter where they are on the rung or ladder of success, they still have their whiteness.”

The veteran broadcaster also said white people have a “leg up.”

Winfrey’s current net worth stands at $2.6 billion, according to Forbes, and conservative pundits were quick to weaponize that fact on Twitter following her show.

The woke 'circus': Charles Barkley torches sports leagues for caving to social justice mob

Basketball legend Charles Barkley is speaking out about the sports world's decision to go woke.

As TheBlaze reported, for example, the NBA will allow players to display social justice messages on their jerseys once the season resumes later this month. Additionally, the phrase "Black Lives Matter" will be plastered on NBA courts.

Meanwhile, the NFL has said it was "wrong" to oppose national anthem protests.

Barkley explained that players should focus their energy on making real, lasting change — not on social justice messages and who is kneeling during the national anthem.

"We need police reform, we need prison reform," Barkley said.

In fact, the former basketball MVP said sports leagues may face backlash from fans who look to sports for a reprieve from the stress of life — not to be lectured about politics.

Black Trans Inmate Allegedly Raped, Abused, Punished for Reporting

A Black trans woman is claiming in court she was set up by prison staff after reporting she had been the victim of rape and sexual abuse. C. Jay Smith, 59, filed the suit in federal court on Monday, alleging staff at San Quentin State prison in Northern California allowed other prisoners to rape and abuse her, then retaliated when she filed a complaint.

The suit alleges prison guards “allowed multiple men in custody to rape Ms. Smith repeatedly over four consecutive days” in 1998. She was violently raped again in 2013 by a person who “attacked from behind,” leaving her with “even more severe symptoms of PTSD."
