Players allege Texas Tech basketball coach created toxic, abusive environment
It's time we have a real conversation about college coaches and some of their methods when it comes to coaching.
In a series of season-ending exit interviews, players made allegations about a culture of abuse in the Texas Tech program since Coach Marlene Stollings took over in April 2018. They say a toxic atmosphere has prompted an exodus of players, including 12 of 21 leaving the program, seven of whom were recruited under Stollings, as reported by USA Today.
Claims were made from multiple players in the program, but perhaps the most startling of these complaints were that Stollings had players wearing heart monitors during games, practices and workouts. If players heart rates dropped below 90% capacity for more than two minutes of game time, players would have to answer to Stollings and her coaching staff...

Penis Cake Leads to Investigation of Racism, Sexual Harassment at Michigan Morgue
Penis-related paraphernalia is something you might expect to see at a bachelorette party, but certainly not in the workplace—especially when you work at a county morgue. But according to the Detroit Free-Press, that's exactly what the work environment has been like at the Macomb County (Mich.) Medical Examiner's office and, as a result, three female morgue employees have been fired. A fourth morgue worker has been placed on paid leave during an investigation into further allegations of sexually inappropriate behavior.
A woman who has been identified only as a Macomb County death investigator and a person of color told the Freep that, after five years of racially insensitive comments, dick jokes, and harassment, a cake was what finally prompted her to file an official complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Mishel could balance on the ladder steadier if she grabbed onto reality. It is hard to live by one mentality when others won't. Men are molded by ego and sex. Daddy Steve from a children's book usurped his power by insinuating his coolness should have indicated to the experts that he deserved a twinkly and less in charge wife. I believe he tried but the email he wrote his willy wouldn't SEND. Hey, I think she's beautiful but I wouldn't sleep with her either. It never would have mattered when he said it, the reaction would have been the same. The rampage was preordained.

Future prediction: men and women will isolate from each other until the government lottery calls their # for procreation. The women will raise the girls; the men, the boys. No more raping, violence or in-charge arguments, amongst each other. The gays will gladly step up and be the bitches men want and the mother a boy needs. Mom and dad need to get rid of the fairy tale. Y'all hate each other! 18-Jul-2020

Report: LGBTQ+ Men and Women Raped, Abused In Syrian Conflict
Gay and bisexual men in Syria, along with transgender women, have been suffering horrific sexual violence in that nation during its multisided civil war, as documented in a new Human Rights Watch report.
“Since the Syrian conflict began in March 2011, men and boys and transgender women have been subjected to rape and other forms of sexual violence by the Syrian government and non-state armed groups, including the extremist armed group Islamic State (also known as ISIS),” says the report, “They Treated Us in Monstrous Ways”: Sexual Violence Against Men, Boys, and Transgender Women in the Syrian Conflict, released Wednesday. “Heterosexual men and boys are vulnerable to sexual violence in Syria, but men who are gay or bisexual — or perceived to be — and transgender women are particularly at risk.”
Naila, a 21-year-old transgender woman, said she was gang-raped in prison while a minor. “They brought the stick of a mop and they inserted it in our anus,” she said. “A strong bleeding started, and we were mutilated.”

WA teen accused of child exploitation ring links, charged with ‘abhorrent’ sex child abuse
A WA teenager has been charged with more than 200 child sex offences for allegedly abusing boys as young as three.
The abuse, which police have described as abhorrent, allegedly started when the 19-year-old Gosnells man was just a boy himself, aged 14.
Police will allege the man is linked to a national online child exploitation network and sexually assaulted five boys, who were aged between three and 11 and known to him through family and friends, between 2014 and 2020.

A racist who refused to wear a mask in a Lyft threatened to crush the skull of his gay driver
A white man who got so upset at being asked to wear a mask in a Lyft driver’s car ended up going on a racist and homophobic rant and was later banned by the service.
In a video recorded on May 28 by the driver Edgar, the man who identified himself as Richard entered the car without a mask. Edgar asked Richard to put on a mask or lift his shirt over his mouth and Richard refused.
“Do you believe in that shit?” Richard said incredulously, referring to either coronavirus prevention measures or coronavirus itself.
“Yes, I do,” Edgar responded, “because I have family that is sick of that.”
The Democratic silence on antifa is dangerous
There is a disturbing silence from leaders of the Democratic Party over those gangs of black-masked leftist thugs shutting down free speech and beating people to the ground with clubs at Berkeley.
We've seen such leftist violence before, and we saw it again just the other day at a protest in Berkeley, when the city police backed off and the thugs who call themselves antifa swarmed peaceful protesters of the right.
It's all over the internet, young men of the hard left in black masks, black gloves, armed with clubs, hunting down prey who dare speak their minds.
What's striking about all this is the silence.

Aunty Kiki took them to a compound where she handed them over to an elderly woman she called "Mma" and told the girls to do whatever the woman asked of them.
"The compound had two flats of three bedrooms each, filled with young girls, some of them pregnant," says Miriam. "Aunty Kiki said it was where we'd be working."
At first, the girls thought their jobs were to clean the compound and do household chores as Aunty Kiki had led them to believe. Their new employers, however, had other ideas.
"Mma asked that we stay alone in separate rooms for that first night," Miriam explains. "We were surprised because the other girls in the compound were sharing rooms, some of which had four people in them."
Late that night, according to Miriam, a man walked into her room, ordered her to take off her clothes, held her hands tightly, and raped her.
The same thing happened to Roda, but her rapist was much more brutal.
Women who dare dissent targeted for abuse by Yemen's rebels
Samera al-Huri’s fellow activists were disappearing, one by one. When she asked their families, each gave the same cryptic reply: “She’s traveling.” A few of the women re-emerged. But they seemed broken and refused to say where they had been for months.
Al-Huri soon found out.
A dozen officers from the Houthi rebels who control northern Yemen snatched her from her home in the capital, Sanaa, at dawn.
They took her to the basement of a converted school, its filthy cells filled with female detainees. Interrogators beat her bloody, gave her electrical shocks and, as psychological torture, scheduled her execution only to call it off last-minute.
Women who dare dissent, or even enter the public sphere, have become targets in an escalating crackdown by the Houthis.
Activists and former detainees described to The Associated Press a network of secret detention facilities where they are tortured and sometimes raped. Taiz Street, a main avenue in Sanaa, is dotted with several of them, hidden inside private villas and the school where al-Huri was held.
A Police Officer Hit A 14-Year-Old And Pinned His Head To The Ground While Detaining Him Over A Cigar
A California police officer punched a 14-year-old black boy in the chest and pinned his head to the ground while detaining him for possessing a cigar in an incident that was captured on video.
The video, which was posted to Twitter by the boy's family and their friends, shows a Rancho Cordova police officer beating the teen as he struggles on the ground. After it was shared tens of thousands of times, authorities said the incident was under review — but also that the boy resisted detention as the officer attempted to investigate a potential crime.
"It’s important to put video footage into context, especially in relation to a use of force incident," Sacramento County Sheriff's Sgt. Tess Deterding said in a statement.

Child Sexual Abuse Reports Are On The Rise Amid Lockdown Orders
There has been a rise in the number of minors contacting the National Sexual Assault Hotline to report abuse. That's according to RAINN, the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network, which runs the hotline.
By the end of March, with much of the country under lockdown, there was a 22% increase in monthly calls from people younger than 18, and half of all incoming contacts were from minors. That's a first in RAINN's history, Camille Cooper, the organization's vice president of public policy, tells NPR.
Of those young people who contacted the hotline in March, 67% identified their perpetrator as a family member and 79% said they were currently living with that perpetrator. In 1 out of 5 cases where the minor was living with their abuser, RAINN assisted the minor in immediately contacting police.

Indian woman gang raped after quarantined alone in school: police
An Indian woman was allegedly gang raped in a school in the desert state of Rajasthan where she had been quarantined for a night by the police amid the nationwide coronavirus lockdown, a police official said on Sunday.
The incident occurred last week when the victim, a daily wage earner, sought shelter at a police station after walking alone for miles and losing the way to her native village.
In the absence of a quarantine centre, local police housed her for the night in a school building, where she was allegedly raped by three men.
