Jerry Harris, Star of 'Cheer,' Charged With Producing Child Pornography

According to federal authorities, Harris allegedly contacted an underage boy on social media and repeatedly enticed him to make sexually explicit videos and photographs of himself and send them to Harris. The victim in the case allegedly informed Harris during the initial online encounter that he was 13 years old, the complaint states.

In addition to the criminal charge, a lawsuit was also filed against Harris and three cheer organizations by the mother of twin boys in Texas for alleged sex crimes. It appears the victim in the criminal case is one of the two victims from the civil case.

Bright Light Bright Light Says He's Tired of Feeling 'Invisible' to the Gay Community

Even in a community outwardly campaigning for inclusion and acceptance, exclusion and judgement still exist on a personal level. Now, Bright Light Bright Light is shedding a light on his experience with that phenomenon within the LGBTQ community.

“Feeling like I belonged within the gay community I think has been a bit of a struggle," he said. "The LGBTQ+ community is such a vast umbrella; everyone is so different and trying to work out where you belong within that is hard. It kind of presumes that everybody queer gets on with each other, which they don’t, and that everyone is alike, which they’re not.”

Thomas also said that he wasn't considered "body-appropriate" to some in the community, which made him constantly feel like he was an outsider within a space built for him. “It doesn’t matter because those people don’t matter," he explained. "But I found that a huge struggle -- feeling invisible or not welcome in queer spaces -- even more heart-breaking than not being welcome in heterosexual spaces, because these spaces are there for everybody that needs them.”

Christian group threatens to hang gay people ‘in a loving way’ in terrifying leaked WhatsApp messages

The LGBT+ community in the Cayman Islands is on high alert after leaked messages revealed a Christian group threatening to “hang one or two” gay people.

The “disturbing and dangerous” messages, first reported by the Cayman Compass, were anonymously leaked by a member of a Christian WhatsApp group.

In one, a member suggests “maybe hang one or two [gay people] in a loving way” as a warning to others.

Another message suggested implementing teachings from the Quran to criminalise homosexuality, reading: “If this was a Muslim country, they’d be [thrown] out by the thousands.”

TikTok 'Shadow-Banned' LGBTQ+ Hashtags in Several Languages

TikTok has "shadow-banned" several hashtags relating to the LGBTQ+ community.

A report released by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute indicated that terms like "gay," "lesbian," and "transgender" were restricted in several languages for global users, "no matter where in the world they live."

"TikTok users posting videos with these hashtags are given the impression their posts are just as searchable as posts by other users, but in fact they aren’t. In practice, most of these hashtags are categorised in TikTok’s code in the same way that terrorist groups, illicit substances and swear words are treated on the platform. On some occasions, hashtags are categorised as non-existent, when in fact they’re tagged on videos across the platform.

Drag Race star Widow Von’Du steps away from social media following “fandom” hate

“I hate doing this so much and I don’t wanna do this anymore!”

Drag Race season 12 competitor Widow Von’Du has announced she will be taking a break from social media.

In a Twitter post the Kansas City queen called out the “fandom” that has been channeling hate her way. Von’Du is one of the few queens of colour that have received hate on the Emmy-winning series. Drag Race has acquired a track record when it comes to queens being targeted and profiled by fans.

Previously to GAY TIMES, Silky Nutmeg Ganache and Asia O’Hara have all spoken out about their experiences receiving hate. The news of Von’Du’s departure comes shortly after Brita Filter deactivated her social media to seek help and focus on mental health.

When we spoke to Silky, she told us about the types of comments she received: “I got so much hate that I went into a depression. I got so many death threats.

“People do not deserve to be treated this way. What is it going to take? Is it going to take a queen to kill herself?”

YouTuber Landon Clifford, 19, was 'addicted to prescription drugs after falling into depression and hanged himself in the garage after telling wife Camryn he was going for a bath'

Camryn went out with a friend and when she got home they had dinner and went through their typical night time routine, but she could tell something was wrong with Landon.

'He said that he was sorry for everything he put me through. It was really hard on me when I was pregnant and he was heavy in his addiction and he really just wasn’t himself at that time. He was just apologizing to me for everything. I could tell he was putting a lot of blame on himself,' Camryn said.

'I told him that I loved him and that I forgave him and things are different now and we’re on a new path. I gave him a hug and a kiss and told him that I love him and that it’s okay,' she added.

Landon said he was going to take a bath, which he does every night before bed.

About 30 minutes later she started to hear her first daughter Collette start to wake up and fuss.

Concerned Camryn went to the bathroom to check on Landon and found it empty, the bathtub apparently unused.

50 Cent says the “biggest target” of cancel culture is “heterosexual males”

Talking to Variety, 50 Cent said: “I’m an entertainer, so to entertain is, I believe, to provoke emotion… I don’t believe I can be cancelled.

“They gotta go to jail to get canceled, they gotta shoot a girl,” he added, appearing to reference Megan Thee Stallion’s recent claim that Tory Lanez shot her in both feet in an incident earlier this year.

“You gotta do something extremely bad to be cancelled, and I think it’s so unfair to the people that are cancelled.”

In the Wake of 'Ellen Show' Controversy, Is Rachael Ray Next? Fans Say Yes

No one said it’s easy being a celebrity but it seems there are only two camps when it comes to Rachael Ray: fans and haters. The former supports any cookbook Ray puts out, every episode of The Rachael Ray Show that airs, and all Ray-related interviews with fellow celebrities.

The latter, however, ranges from celebrity chefs to servers at any restaurant Ray has gone. Martha Stewart, Emiril Lagasse, Giada DeLaurentis, and the late Anthony Bourdain have all publicly expressed their dislike of Ray, mostly poking at her lack of culinary expertise.

Professional life aside, events in Ray’s personal life might be slightly more revealing. In 2013, Ray’s aunt Geraldine Dominica Scuderi died in the freezing cold after accidentally locking herself out of Ray’s mother Elsa Scuderi’s house — in which she was housesitting.

“She used to be so peppy and smiley and always pleasant. Now she’s rude, always annoyed and actually just annoying. What’s up with that and why would anyone watch her now?” one Reddit user asked.

Rose McGowan unleashes fury against Joe Biden, Democrats: 'You are monsters, frauds'

The actress and activist, 46, who has stood behind Biden assault accuser Tara Reade and blasted Hollywood stars for their support of the Democratic presidential nominee, made her distaste for Biden loud and clear as she ripped his speech in which he described America as a "cloak of darkness" under Trump.

"Give people light. Those are words for our time. The current president has cloaked America in darkness for much too long. Too much anger. Too much fear. Too much division," Biden said on Thursday night.

"You are the season of darkness. @JoeBiden @dnc You are monsters. You are frauds. You are the lie," McGowan reacted on the social media platform.

"What have the Democrats done to solve ANYTHING? Help the poor? No. Help black & brown people? No. Stop police brutality? No. Help single mothers? No. Help children? No. You have achieved nothing. NOTHING. Why did people vote Trump? Because of you motherfuckers," she wrote.

Rose McGowan calls Alyssa Milano a 'fraud' in political Twitter feud: 'Get off my coattails'

Rose McGowan accused Alyssa Milano of being a “fraud” in a political Twitter feud that began over Joe Biden and the Democratic party.

The stars exchanged heated words on Friday after McGowan tweeted that presidential nominee Biden and the Democratic National Committee were “monsters” and “frauds.”

The next day, Milano, who supports Biden for president, tweeted a string of historical events to support her argument that Democrats “make the world a better place:” the passage of the 19th Amendment which granted women the right to vote, The New Deal which introduced economic relief from The Great Depression, the Federal Minimum Wage Law, affirmative action and the Violence Against Women Act (authored by then-senator Biden in 1994).

Milano then called out her former Charmed costar: “Rose and anyone bleating the same “dEmOcRaTs DoNt HeLp PeOpLe” nonsense, your lies are going to hurt people less privileged than you. It’s the kind of thing an ACTUAL fraud would do. Thousands of people are dying a day but you go on with your hyperbolic attention seeking tweets.”

McGowan responded by tweeting of the Democrats: “Ummm... did you conveniently forget only WHITE WOMEN got the right to vote? They betrayed all others. To quote Marilyn Manson, ‘I was not born with enough middle fingers.’”
