Coronavirus: Parents sending infected children to school, Wisconsin officials warn

As authorities in suburban Milwaukee gamed out the complex preparations to allow children back into classrooms amid the coronavirus pandemic, they didn't plan for one scenario: parents deliberately sending infected kids to school.

Yet that's exactly what's happened multiple times in Washington and Ozaukee counties, health officials said this week.

"Something that happened and continued to happen … which I never in my wildest dreams imagined it would happen, is people sent their known positive kids to school," Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department officer Kirsten Johnson told WISN.

As health officials investigate cases in more than two dozens schools in the counties, some are demanding harsh repercussions for any parent caught sending a child to class after they test positive.

One of the officers started vomiting and required an IV Fluid, reported Click Orlando. A second officer developed more serious symptoms later in the night and had to be placed on a ventilator.

Popeyes worker is fired after San Antonio cop claims he SPAT in his food, yelled 'All cops are b*****ds' (blockheads?) and wrote 'ACAB' on his meal box

A Popeyes employee has been fired after a cop in Texas claimed his food had been tampered with.

According to the San Antonio Police Department Officer A. Martinez said he heard the fast food restaurant worker making derogatory remarks about members of law enforcement while getting his meal of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy at the drive-thru.

The cop claims that he had already begun to eat the meal then saw 'ACAB' – an abbreviation for 'all cop are b*****ds' - written inside in black marker and noticed what looked like saliva on his food.

Fugitive dad arrested for slaying teen daughters in ‘honor killing’

A Texas father — one of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives — wanted for the slayings of his two teen daughters was busted after more than 12 years on the run, the federal law enforcement agency announced.

The teens were found shot multiple times in a cab outside an Irving motel after one of them called 911, saying she was dying, authorities said.

“Help,” the younger sister could be heard crying on a 911 recording. “I’m dying. Oh my God. Stop it.”

Relatives at the time told cops that Yaser threatened “bodily harm” against Sarah for going on a date with a non-Muslim.

A Woman Called the Cops Because She Thought Store-Bought Meat Was a Penis

Earlier this week, an Akron, Ohio woman put a pot of beans on the stove to simmer, but instead of serving them to her family, she stood in her house, watching as officers from the Akron Police Department put on their gloves and separated what should've been her dinner into several large plastic bags.

According to the Akron Beacon Journal, Lamia Singfield bought a package of smoked turkey tails that day at a nearby Save A Lot supermarket. (Her receipt said they were smoked turkey tails but the label listed them as smoked pork tails—although that's not the problem). She was in the middle of a Facebook Live video and, after stopping to stir the beans, she realized that one piece of that seasoning meat didn't look right.

‘That Little Baby Needs Justice’: Body Of Toddler Found Floating In Bayou, Foul Play Suspected

The body of a 2-year-old girl, who disappeared from a Houston playground last week, was found submerged in a bayou over the weekend.

Maliyah “Tootie” Bass’ body is believed to have been found floating in the water on Sunday after vanishing a day earlier. The body was spotted by a jogger around 10:30 a.m. investigators said. The unresponsive child, who was rescued from the water, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“I’m highly confident that foul play is involved in this case,” Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo said in a statement.

Missing Fort Hood soldier a victim of 'abusive sexual contact,' Army says

Sgt. Elder Fernandes, 23, a Fort Hood soldier who has been missing for five days, was recently transferred to a different unit because he was the victim of "abusive sexual contact," U.S. Army officials said Saturday.

"We can confirm there is an open investigation of abusive sexual contact involving Sgt. Fernandes," Lt. Col. Chris Brautigam, a 1st Cavalry Division spokesman, said in a statement to NBC News.

"The unit sexual assault response coordinator has been working closely with Sgt. Fernandes, ensuring he was aware of all his reporting, care, and victim advocacy options," he said.

Brautigam said Fernandes was transferred "to ensure he received the proper care and ensure there were no opportunities for reprisals."

Son of Sweetie Pie's owner charged in murder-for-hire plot that killed owner's grandson

The son of Robbie Montgomery, reality TV star and owner of Sweetie Pie’s, is accused of facilitating a murder-for-hire plot against his nephew in an attempt to collect the nephew’s life insurance money.

James Timothy Norman, 41, of Jackson, Mississippi, was arrested Tuesday, one week after being charged with conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities in the commission of a murder-for-hire, resulting in death.

The nephew, Andre Montgomery, was Robbie Montgomery’s grandson. Her show, “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s,” aired for five seasons starting in 2011 on OWN. She is a former backup singer for Ike and Tina Turner.

Both Norman and Andre Montgomery appeared on “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s.” Robbie Montgomery sued Norman in 2016, claiming his operation of three Sweetie Pie’s restaurants was a copyright infringement.

Andre Montgomery was fatally shot March 14, 2016, near Fairground Park.

Why men rape, in their own words: sex offenders in India and what makes it such a dangerous place for women

A study conducted by the Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2018 ranked India as the world’s most dangerous country for women.

The issues examined included sexual violence and trafficking, gender-based social discrimination, lack of access to and control over contraception and childbirth, health care and maternal mortality rates. Mental and physical abuse, religious and cultural facets such as acid attacks, female infanticide, female genital mutilation, and forced and child marriages were also weighed.

Sexual violence against women is an absolute reality in many cultures around the world. In India, however, it is deeply rooted in patriarchal norms and the belief that men are superior to women and that a man should always be a protector of women.

During her interviews, Kaushal found that none of her nine subjects understood the meaning or necessity of consent from a female partner in a sexual relationship or respected them as individuals with their own unique identities. One of them, a serial gang rapist, even refused to accept the idea of rape.

Another subject, a doctor, raped a 12-year-old bedridden patient following an operation, in full awareness of the mental trauma he was causing. The attack left the patient crippled and incapable of talking about the assault for decades out of fear and shock.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's Montecito mansion burglary was an INSIDE JOB neighbors claim they were told by cops

Police have allegedly told residents in Ellen DeGeneres' Montecito neighborhood that the recent burglary at the TV host's property was an 'inside job'.

On July 4 Ellen and wife Portia de Rossi's $27 million mansion was burglarized, with authorities saying at the time that the couple's home was targeted due to their 'celebrity status'.

The association reassured the residents that the community did not need to worry about more robberies taking place.

The ultra exclusive enclave is home to a host of billionaires and celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Ariana Grande and in recent weeks Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
