My Traumatizing Years With Bryan Singer

Stuerman met Singer in 2009 in New York City when he was 18 years old, and entered into a sexual relationship with him shortly after; Singer was 43. Their time together ended after Stuerman was fired as Singer’s assistant in June 2013 on the film “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” which opened the following year. Stuerman believes his relationship with Singer was abusive and traumatic. He says he was further traumatized by witnessing an incident in 2012 in which Singer allegedly assaulted someone.

Eyes Of Tammy Faye, The (2021) Woof

It's cold on facts and quick with details. Two fascinating humans aligning to make the world a better place for themselves, remain enigmas. They let go of reality and rode a magic horse to success. Magic horses need water so they steal some from neighboring lands. Lands dry up and competitors get suspicious. Jessica has brilliant moments when spiritually linked to the original but defaults to herself when Tammy Faye does nothing spectacular. There was no Faye spin on song or yell. Jessica completed a very difficult job. Andrew Garfield instantly reminded me of the Jim Bakker I thought I forgot. He was excellent. What happened with the kids? 13-Jan-2022

tick, tick...BOOM! (2001) Whimper

Spider-man split open his asshole and we tasted it. The flavors were acidic and international. Like a caesar salad. Miranda covers an artist that succeeded without musicality because he's an artist that also succeeds without it. When did Spider-Man become Doc from "Back To The Future?" Andrew is its good thing, Robin de Jesus is a missed opportunity and Judith Light was too jewish. Vanessa Hudgens was the only artist that understood the piece of crap she was in and relaxed to our enjoyment. Bad music and immature storytelling equal forgotten art. 24-Dec-2021

Being The Ricardos (2021) WhimperEarly Exit

I exited before any more of my brain cells died. Not all geniuses are meant to portray geniuses. Nicole doesn't squeak enough or husk enough. She couldn't pick an accent from Lucy's bountiful history to make us believe she was Lucille Ball. Nicole is an Australian model failing as a moll bride. Lucy cracked and she bellowed. Ridiculousness was her class and experience was her wisdom. Nicole understood neither. Javier may be a fuckable specimen on his own accord but Desi wasn't that heavily accented or pitiable. Daddy needed some voodoo guidance. Aaron Sorkin placed the blame on Lucy. Fuck you! 22-Dec-2021

Katie Couric, Recalls Feeling ‘Shaken’ After an Interview With Denzel Washington in 2004

“I don’t think I said anything wrong. I don’t know what happened. I love him, I admire him so much. He’s one of my favorite actors, but I remember walking out and feeling really kind of shaken that he had kind of gone after me in a way that was completely, weirdly uncalled for.”

‘When politicians leave sex alone, I’ll leave politics alone’

(It looks like a picture book – my seven-year-old picked it up and in a sing-song voice started reading, “A is for Anal…”) And yet, “There’s a strong moral code that sometimes upsets my lefty, progressive queer readers.” It’s a strange position to be in, he admits, with rightwingers complaining he’s an anarchistic hedonist who tells people anything goes, and the far queer left saying he’s a judgmental assimilationist. “When I’m in the middle trying to figure out how to make relationships work. That’s where I’m really conservative.”

America Is Having a Violence Wave, Not a Crime Wave

A historic rise in homicides in 2020—and continued bloodshed in 2021—has incited fears that after years of plummeting crime rates, the U.S. could be headed back to the bad old days, when a crime wave gripped the country from the 1970s to the 1990s.

The murder rate rose by nearly 30 percent, the largest increase on record. There were about 21,500 murders, or 6.5 per 100,000 people. Aggravated assault, the most common form of violent crime, rose 12 percent. Among other components of the violent-crime rate, robbery actually decreased and rape reports were flat. But property crimes overall fell 8 percent, led by drops in burglary and larceny—though motor-vehicle theft increased.

Tragedy of the 'world's most beautiful boy'... The movie classic Death In Venice made its 15-year-old star a global icon

Acclaimed filmmaker Luchino Visconti scoured Europe in 1970 to find the ‘perfect beauty’ to play the lead in his upcoming film Death In Venice.

The successful candidate would have to have the ravishing looks an audience could believe would be sufficient to drive Dirk Bogarde’s character, an ailing and ageing composer, to distraction.

But Visconti wasn’t looking for a woman, he was looking for an adolescent boy. He found what he was looking for, casting a 15-year-old Swede, Björn Andrésen, to play a sailor-suited Polish boy named Tadzio.

A year later, in London, for the film’s world premiere in front of the Queen and Princess Anne, Visconti proclaimed Andrésen to be ‘the world’s most beautiful boy’, a stunning accolade echoed by some film critics who hailed his blond-locked, almost unearthly beauty as on a par with Michelangelo’s David.

'I think you're gay' Leonardo DiCaprio asked if he was homosexual by Miriam Margolyes

“Leonardo has grown into an extremely fine actor but back then he was just a handsome boy who didn't always wash; he was quite smelly in that very male way some young men are.

“Sometimes he wore a dress. ’Leonardo, I think you're gay,' I said.

Palm Springs’ ‘Forever Marilyn’ opponents suffer legal blow

Opponents of a massive Marilyn Monroe statue in downtown Palm Springs suffered a legal blow today, though the fight is far from over.

A group of residents calling themselves the "Committee to Relocate Marilyn" sued the city in March for allowing "Forever Marilyn'' to be placed downtown, alleging it violated various municipal and state codes in agreeing to close Museum Way during the statue's three-year stay, among other grievances.

Riverside County Superior Court Judge James Latting ruled in favor of a motion submitted by the city's lawyers seeking to have four of the committee's six causes of action dismissed on Thursday.

"It is the city's hope that the committee will end what remains of its lawsuit, so that we as a community can move on and focus our energy on more productive issues, such as homelessness, affordable housing, economic development and the environment."

She was a young star, and he was more than twice her age.

As I came to the end of my teens, I longed more than ever for love. But the idea of having sex made me nervous — and I felt I couldn't possibly live up to any man's expectations.

Since the age of 13, I'd been a Disney child star, making popular family films such as Pollyanna and The Parent Trap.

Adolescence, however, had hit me hard, sapping my confidence and rendering me paralytically shy.

Taking my clothes off was an extraordinarily awful and rather hysterical experience from start to finish.

In his mid-50s, he still had a good head of hair that flopped over his bright blue eyes.

I should have left Roy in 1970. The age difference was becoming a problem because I had so many more things I wanted to do, whereas Roy had seen and done it all before.

I had no friends and no freedom. It was the Disney years all over again.

Secret heartbreak behind Lucille Ball's facade of all-American girl

“Lucille was a gangster’s moll and nude model who used the casting couch to claw her way to Hollywood stardom,” claims Hollywood biographer Darwin Porter, co-author of the book Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz.

“And her seemingly perfect marriage to Desi was a sham, filled with affairs, animosity and brutal arguments.

“The world thought Lucille Ball was a zany, loving and supportive housewife, but nothing could be further from the truth.

“We were anything but Lucy and Ricky Ricardo,” he said. “They had nothing to do with us. We dreamed of success, fame and fortune. And guess what? It all led to hell.”

“She hustled ‘sugar daddies’ and stage-door Johnnies who gave her money,” says Porter. Lucy eventually won a job in the chorus line in the Ziegfeld Follies, probably by padding her bra, but was fired when skimpy costumes revealed her shortcomings.

“You’ve got no boobs and you can’t dance,” she was told.

United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2021) Howl

Men of the United States vs. a gifted opinion. She may have been a vampire but all the men sucked her dry. We cancelled her and she died. Who's fault is that? Andra Day. Her hard work is on the floor. She never reached druggy nirvana because she kept her light on even as things got darker. Pitch perfect on voice and beauty. The real legend was nasty and obtrusive. More of that. Trevante Rhodes is a cum daddy. I can cum by the thought of him. Tone Bell came and realized the fantasy but Rhodes went and smashed it with inhuman muscular sex. Rob Morgan is the guy with the 18 1/2" just older. Yum. Lee Daniels does not fuss too much. He wants to tell a clean story. When he imagines a woman's sensuality through the eyes of a victimized child, it is golden but when he doesn't subjugate us with it, the passion is lost. It would have been diamond had he folded with consummation. He couldn't give in to that. (We can take it daddy.) He kept the politics low and gave the legend the last laugh. That's cool. 27-Feb-2021

Framing Britney Spears (2021) Woof

Britney is the golden bird whose wings were snapped so she wouldn't fly the coop and stop laying golden eggs. She flew the coop because people were perceiving who she was whilst nodding and ignoring everything she said. Without its subject, the doc is elementary. Britney's loss of freedom is hurtful. The doc didn't have the budget to solve the issue but it scattered clues for us to count. A conservatorship was assigned because she was willing to gift her fortune to someone else? That's scary. We don't want Britney in the streets. Daddy is monstrous. Where's mom? 10-Feb-2021

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom (2020) Arf

Ma Rainey was the mother of the blues and a proud lady licker. Talent can overcome oppression and the power to give back to the community. Only a goddess can give credence to a legend. Viola is that piece of art that keeps moving and you chase her because you don't want to miss a thing which makes you see the rips. There were inflections and teeth caps that interrupted but the lady was full-on. Chad Boseman's character needed some vulnerability and a lot less JJ Walker. Colman Domingo was the man. The support beautifully did so. It's a music session in a fabulous woman's life. The theme of the session is to complain about every aspect of black tired life and to take it out on the white man. The conversations were heavy, the atmosphere was confined and there was no lingering happiness. I wanted to see the story of Ma Rainey with Viola smacking pussy and bringing the house down. I don't really know what to feel about this. 22-Dec-2020
