Gay Man Exposes His Parents For Telling People He Has A Fiancée To Hide His Sexuality
I (21M) have a strained relationship with my parents. They are involved in pretty much every social event/circle in our city be it church, school, clubs etc.”
“For them, what over people think is the most important thing. For that, they will lie about pretty much any ‘bad’ thing that could potentially tarnish their standing and have forced my sister (24 F[emale]) and I to behave in certain ways or follow specific rules.”
“Some examples:”
“My sister came home one day introducing her Spanish boyfriend to my parents. They didn’t like that so they told everyone the boyfriend is an exchange student that we are housing.”
“They only have themselves to blame for building their castle on sand.”

‘GRINCH Act’ introduced to protect children's books from cancel culture: ‘No one is safe’
Rep. John Joyce, R-Pa., is fighting back against the cancel culture and argued no one is "safe" from the "woke" movement.
The Pennsylvania lawmaker is introducing the Guarding Readers’ Independence and Choice (GRINCH) Act to safeguard children’s literature from being "canceled." The GRINCH Act will cut off government funding for agencies that censor books.
"The reaction has been so positive...the cancel culture is rapidly attacking our American institutions, our libraries, our school," Joyce told "America’s Newsroom," Friday. "I'm alarmed at the left's attempt to cancel historic books characters."

Pete Davidson criticised for jokes about gay men in new stand-up trailer
Pete Davidson has been criticised for making “outdated” jokes about gay men in the trailer for his Netflix special.
“I like my gay friends because I don’t think there’s like a more honest relationship between a gay dude and a straight dude,” he begins. “Because there’s just like nothing to gain, you know, so it’s just pure honesty.”
Pete continued to say that “there’s always one gay friend that I don’t think is fucking gay at all” and that everyone knows a “gay dude that’ll run up on your girlfriend and squeeze her boobs, and slap her ass and be like, ‘Damn girl, you look great!'”
“I don’t find that fucking funny at all, I’m sorry,” he continued. “I’m all for the gayness, you know. It doesn’t mean I’m against gayness. It’s just like you get to slap ass on a technicality? That’s not fucking fair at all.”
Pete said he wouldn’t “walk up to his boyfriend and tug his dick” just because he could.

INDIA IS CRACKING DOWN ON ECOMMERCE AND FREE SPEECH
WHEN IT COMES to cracking down on tech giants, India is on a roll. The country was the first to reject Facebook’s contentious plan to offer free internet access to parts of the developing world in 2016. Since December, Indian policymakers have taken a page from China’s playbook, enacting sweeping restrictions in an attempt to curtail the power of ecommerce behemoths like Amazon, and pushing proposals that would require internet companies to censor “unlawful” content, break user encryption, and forbid Indian data from being stored on foreign soil. In the past week alone, Indian officials have demanded that Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey come before Parliament to answer accusations of bias, called for a ban on TikTok, and opened an investigation into claims that Google abused its Android mobile operating system to unfairly promote its own services.
For all its good intentions, India’s tech backlash could backfire, with potentially dire consequences for all tech companies—big and small—operating in India, not to mention free speech online. “There is an element of nationalism which is creeping into tech policy in India,” said Apar Gupta, executive director of the Internet Freedom Foundation, a digital-rights group. Gupta says this has resulted in a number of India-First-style tech policies being rushed through the government using the much quicker executive notification process rather than seeking parliamentary approval, which could have resulted in laws that would be more comprehensive and enforceable.

Writer Bret Easton Ellis Thinks 'Black Panther' Is Being 'Shoved Down Our Throats'
"No superhero movie has ever gotten a Best Picture nomination," he said. "But believe me, Disney is doing everything in its power to make sure this happens. Even though there is no one out here in La La Land I've met who thinks Black Panther is that good as a movie. Yet, as a piece of representation, they are supporting it."
