Britain's most evil predator met the same end

He would pose as a travel photographer and then take explicit photos of his abuse which he sold on to other paedophiles. He even boasted of his vile crimes to other paedophile and wrote a 60 page guide to sexual abuse which he called 'Pedophiles & Poverty: Child Lover Guide'.

In it, he wrote: "I'd hit the jackpot, a three-year-old girl as loyal to me as my dog and nobody seemed to care." He bragged online: "Impoverished kids are definitely much, much easier to seduce than middle-class Western kids."

LGBTQ+ Senator Proposes Ban on 'Religious Indoctrination' of Kids

“There is a well-documented history of indoctrination and sexual abuse perpetrated by religious leaders and clergy people upon children,” according to the amendment. “Abusers within churches and other religious institutions often use events like church or youth-group-sponsored camps and retreats to earn children’s trust and gain unsupervised access to such children in order to commit such abuse.”

Outcry after New York mayor dismisses separation of church and state

Adams’s time in office has proved controversial, from his approach to tackling crime, homelessness and sanitation, to allegations of nepotism, inconsistent veganism and bizarre remarks about how cheese is addictive.

At the prayer breakfast, Adams also said “When we took prayers out of schools, guns came into schools” and “Don’t tell me about no separation of church and state”.

After permit approved for whites-only church, small Minnesota town insists it isn't racist

When the church doors open, only white people will be allowed inside.

That’s the message the Asatru Folk Assembly in Murdock, Minnesota, is sending after being granted a conditional use permit to open a church there and practice its pre-Christian religion that originated in northern Europe.

Despite a council vote officially approving the permit this month, residents are pushing back against the decision.

Q. Interfaith in Ithaca:

My wife and I (we’re both women) are in an interfaith marriage. I’m a member of a tiny religious minority and my wife is an atheist. Before we got married, we agreed we’d raise our kids in my religion—monthly religious service attendance, religious summer camp, etc.—and then let them choose whether to pursue the religion when they turn 18 and move out. My parents were much more prescriptive with me and I ended up rebelling against it for a long time. It was important to me that our kids make a choice for themselves once they turned 18.

However, my wife is tacitly supportive but pretty much “opts out” whenever she can. She works long hours and basically never wants to come to our religious service because she wants to catch up on sleep. I end up taking the kids by myself. My kids are teens and, seeing my wife opt out, are wondering why they can’t opt out either—which is super valid. My parents always warned me I shouldn’t marry outside the faith so I can’t talk to them about this, because all I’ll get is an “I told you so.” I can’t make my wife a role model for a religion she doesn’t believe in, but it’s incredibly important that my kids have a strong religious foundation and then make the choice from there. What should we do?

Church depicts Jesus as genderqueer with breasts, a beard and make-up so ‘everyone sees themselves in Christ’

The national church of Iceland has apologised for circulating a children’s Sunday school advertisement that depicted Jesus Christ as genderqueer.

The cartoon poster from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Iceland shows a rosy-cheeked Christ with breasts, beard and make-up jumping in front of a rainbow.

Jehovah's Witnesses reportedly under investigation by Pennsylvania attorney general

The Pennsylvania attorney general's office reportedly is investigating whether the Jehovah's Witnesses repeatedly failed to report child sexual abuse allegations to authorities in what is believed to be the first wide-scale examination by a U.S. law enforcement agency.

The attorney general's office told USA TODAY it "cannot confirm or deny the existence of investigations."

"Witnesses believe that they’re obeying God, that they’re putting God’s law ahead of man's law," he said. "And the reality is that they’re harming people."

Lawsuits filed across the country since the 1990s have accused the Jehovah's Witnesses and their legal corporations — including the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania and the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York Inc. — of failing to report child abuse.

PRIEST ACCUSED OF SEXUALLY ABUSING MALE CHILD FLEES AMERICA

A priest from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oakland fled the country last month after he was accused of sexually abusing a male minor.

On January 31, the diocese placed father Alex Castillo on administrative leave upon receiving an allegation against him for inappropriate behavior from a child male victim.

Church officials were able to contact Castillo up until February 21, but after that date, several people were unsuccessful in their attempts to reach the embattled priest, diocese spokesperson Helen Osman told SFGate. The diocese then searched for Castillo in every jail and hospital in the area before they finally reported him missing to authorities two days later, on February 23.

Salacious new book says homosexuality is rampant at the Vatican

Early in his salacious new book about homosexuality in the Vatican, the French journalist Frederic Martel asks a source to estimate the number of Vatican clergy who are "part of this community, all tendencies included."

"I think the percentage is very high," says the source, identified as an Italian journalist who left the Vatican and the priesthood after he was discovered viewing gay sex websites on his Vatican computer. "I'd put it around 80%."
That estimate from Martel's book, which is scheduled to be published on February 21 in eight languages and 20 countries, has already made international headlines.

Florida church apologizes for sexual innuendo on their sign

Talk about sending a mixed message. A church in Florida received some unexpected — and awkward — attention after someone posted their sign to Instagram.

User Catherine306098 posted Bella Vista Baptist Church’s sign three days ago (3 November).

The sign simply reads: ‘Forgiveness is swallowing when you want to spit.’

It’s not difficult to see how most people interpreted the sign.
