Trump 'wants to END birthright citizenship before he leaves office': President could strip immigration rights from US-born babies as administration pushes bold policies in his final weeks

President Trump is reportedly considering signing an executive order ending birthright citizenship before he leaves the Oval Office.

On Friday, various sources told The Hill that members of the Trump Administration have been discussing the issue with increasing frequency. They are hoping to push the President into taking action before Joe Biden is sworn in on January 20.

Under current law, all babies born in United States are automatically granted citizenship, regardless of whether or not their parents are American. An executive order signed by President Trump would likely put an end to such legal protections.

Fox Anchor Pauses Mid-Segment Over ‘Very Disturbing’ Sign at MAGA Rally

A Fox News anchor briefly paused mid-segment on Saturday after a sign carried by a demonstrator at the so-called “Million MAGA March” in Washington, D.C. appeared on the screen bearing a racist threat. Fox anchor Eric Shawn broke from his conversation with a Republican strategist to say, “We’ve just seen a very disturbing sign. It said, ‘Coming for Blacks and Indians first welcome to the New World Order.’ Who the hell knows, you know, what people have and what they say on these things?” The march, intended to show support for President Donald Trump and his false claims that he won the presidential election, drew a significantly smaller crowd than a million people, with attendees numbering in the thousands.

How likely are you to get COVID-19 at a 25-person Thanksgiving dinner or at a wedding with 100 guests? New interactive map shows the risk of contracting coronavirus anywhere in the US

Scientists have developed a new interactive map that shows the risk of contracting coronavirus anywhere in the US in real-time.

The COVID-19 Event Risk Assessment Planning Tool tells Americans their odds of encountering at least one person with the virus in every county at an event with a crowd size ranging from 10 people to 5,000 people.

This means you can assess the risk of one coronavirus-positive individual being at a 10-person dinner party, a Thanksgiving gathering with 25 guests, a 100-person wedding or a concert with 1,000 attendees.

AOC says she might quit politics as Dems pin losses on progressives and top black lawmaker James Clyburn says defund the police was a disaster

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blamed 'Republican narratives' for tearing Democrats apart as she revealed over the weekend she considered not running for reelection due to in-house fighting between the progressive and establishment arms of the Party.

When asked by The New York Times if she would consider running for the Senate if Joe Biden's administration ended up being too 'hostile' toward progressive causes, Ocasio-Cortez said, 'I genuinely don't know. I don't even know if I want to be in politics.'

'Republicans levied very effective rhetorical attacks against our party,' Ocasio-Cortez told CNN's Jake Tapper during an interview on 'State of the Union' Sunday morning.

House Majority Whip James Clyburn is among the ranks of Democrats who butt heads with the 'squad.'

He says labels like 'socialist' and calls from lawmakers to 'defund the police' can 'kill a political effort' because they are losing points with most Americans.

When The Times asked Ocasio-Cortez why she considered getting out of politics, she said there is a 'lack of support' from Democrats and that she has been labeled the 'enemy.'

Gay lawmaker flees home after receiving threatening messages

An out gay lawmaker has fled his home with his husband after receiving threatening and homophobic phone messages.

“I have no idea how I can keep my family safe right now other than leave,” New Mexico state Sen. Jacob Candelaria (D) told the Washington Post. “They do not have the right to make death threats like this and have it go unaccountable.”

Americans Are Dying In The Pandemic At Rates Far Higher Than In Other Countries

During this pandemic, people in the United States are dying at rates unparalleled elsewhere in the world.

A new report in the Journal of the American Medical Association finds that in the past five months, per capita deaths in the U.S., both from COVID-19 and other causes, have been far greater than in 18 other high-income countries.

"It's shocking. It's horrible," says Dr. Ezekiel J. Emanuel, a professor of health policy and medical ethics at the University of Pennsylvania and one of the authors of the study.

"The United States really has done remarkably badly compared to other countries," he says. "I mean, remarkably badly."

Face facts: ‘Black Lives Matter’ is all about hate

Its agenda is plain for all to see: cop-killing.

With another two police officers shot at the Black Lives Matter riot in Louisville on Wednesday, it’s time to lift the veil on the whole movement: It’s a haven for unrepentant cop-killers.

Some people try to separate BLM “the organization” from “the movement” that goes by the same name, but at most they are two sides of the same coin. From the start, both the organization and the movement — BLM writ large — have been about hatred and violence that extends beyond police and includes all white people, all blacks who are conservative and the United States of America.

Black Lives Matter isn’t about black lives. It ignores the 8,000 to 9,000 black lives taken by other blacks every year in minority communities across the nation. Those black lives, and the lives of African American police officers, don’t matter.

The time has come to face the facts. If you ever supported Black Lives Matter, then you are either a left-wing radical — or you got duped. There is no shame in the latter. By design, the relentlessly repeated cry of “Black lives matter” is an unassailable moral truism, calculated to bully people into supporting a radical, revolutionary, anti-order movement.

Donald Trump says Joe Biden is 'rushing out of his basement early' to campaign in response to poll showing the president winning nationwide and surging in battleground states

Donald Trump has mocked Joe Biden for 'coming out of the basement earlier than his hoped', after polls showed the president ahead in key battleground states.

Biden will campaign on Monday in Pennsylvania - a swing state vital for victory

In a series of Sunday evening tweets, the president celebrated recent polling, which suggests he is on course to defeat his Democrat rival.

Riots, Not Protests: The Media Is Gaslighting You / Opinion

Bad-faith media members tell you civil unrest in American cities are really peaceful protests. And when they do actually acknowledge violence, some media frame it as a direct result of President Donald Trump.

You are being lied to. It's an audacious attempt to gaslight the American public, as some media continue their effort to help defeat President Trump.

The Pacific Northwest is under siege. Nightly, riots overtake Portland. In Seattle, there were three costly and dangerous riots over the course of just a week. People are getting injured, and both businesses and public buildings are being destroyed or vandalized. And the media is pretending it's not really happening.

I've covered the demonstrations and they're anything but peaceful. But you don't have to be in Seattle or Portland to understand what's going on. A casual Twitter search yields video after video after video after video of the violence.

So why are we being told the violence isn't happening? It's part of a strategic campaign to push back against Trump's re-election.

7 Consequences of Blaming Others for How We Manage Anger

“If she didn’t say that I wouldn’t have hit her.” “If he didn’t cut me off I would never have chased after him!” “My father is to blame for my problems with anger.”

These are just a few examples of comments I’ve heard over the years, made by individuals who blamed others in order to justify their anger and how they expressed it. In the first, a 32-year-old husband, married for just two years, assaulted his wife while under the influence of alcohol. He hit his wife after she threatened to divorce him and make sure that he would suffer financially. His aggression was a reaction to his anger—rage that masked his feelings of powerlessness, hurt, and anticipated loss. In spite of arguments that had escalated in the previous year, he was unable to honestly acknowledge that he and his wife were incompatible.

In each scenario, these individuals deny their responsibility for their behavior. They portray themselves as powerless in their actions and, often, incapable of change. The details of how they blamed others for their anger is different. However, in each situation, these individuals failed to recognize that their tendency to blame others only strengthened their perceived powerlessness and–in turn– their likelihood of blaming others.

It is one thing to suggest that an event contributed to triggering our anger. It is an entirely different issue to suggest that others are responsible for our feelings, their intensity and how we manage them.

Steps to Reduce Your Tendency to Blame Others

1. Recognize it when it occurs.

2. Reflect on the purpose it serves you. What feelings are you trying to avoid?

3. Cultivate increased self-compassion to recognize that being human involves making mistakes, having flaws and weaknesses.

4 Recognize how your tendency for global thinking contributes to blaming.

5. Look for your contribution to your suffering.

Beware Those Who Would Reduce America's Multicolor Landscape to Black and White / Opinion

It's easy to shrug off the story of the city of Seattle's efforts last month to address racism as just another quirky anomaly in these unsettled times.

But Americans do so at our peril.

The City's Office of Civil Rights gathered white employees for a mandatory session entitled "Interrupting Internalized Racial Superiority and Whiteness." A researcher who reviewed the curriculum noted that the instructor taught that all "white people have internalized a sense of racial superiority, which has made them unable to access their [own] 'humanity' and [has] caused 'harm and violence' to people of color."

"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character," so said Rev. King.

That's so 20th century.

Being born white is the woke generation's original sin. The list of demands to get out of white, racist purgatory are quite daunting:

Forget truth. It doesn't count; feelings do.

A person's personal dreams must make way for groupthink.

History must be erased to be replaced by authentic socialists like Karl Marx.

Collective memory must take a knee to intersectionality—connecting dots by fiat not fact.

Traditional morality—a racist vestige best forgotten by the old and then unlearned by the young.

Police? Defund them.

Law and order— a vicious concept leveraged to enslave people of color

America Is on Track for a Million Coronavirus Cases a Day, and at Least 800,000 Deaths, by the End of 2020

If someone had suggested five months ago that we would be seeing more than 3 million cases and 135,000 COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. by mid-July, I wouldn’t have believed it.

But now it’s distinctly possible that, five months from now, half of all Americans could have been infected with SARS-CoV-2, and more than 800,000 Americans may die in this extraordinary outbreak. That is what many of our most prominent public-health experts now expect.

VIDEO: Black conservative activist rips 'cultural Marxism' of Black Lives Matter rioters who violently invade restaurant right in front of him

A black conservative activist took video of a violent Black Lives Matter demonstration at a Dallas restaurant where he was eating with friends over the weekend and narrated the scene as it unfolded into violence — to the point where he said police arrived and deployed tear gas and pepper spray.

As the demonstrators chanted and cursed, Felder noted families seated with young children who were enduring the torrent of verbal abuse and profanity.

"They're out here right now trying to act a fool," he said of the demonstrators who soon began advancing on the tables and the restaurant staff and throwing objects and shoving those in their way.

"Here it is, see?" Felder observed. "They create the unrest, and then they get upset when someone actually speaks up for themselves. That's the problem."

It’s time to cancel ‘The Star-Spangled Banner.’ Here’s what should replace it

Scholars disagree about the meaning of this couplet. Some read the words as a reference to escaped slaves fighting alongside the British, who promised to grant freedom to Black soldiers in exchange for their service. Historian Jason Johnson has called “The Star-Spangled Banner” “a diss track to Black people who had the audacity to fight for their freedom.” Marc Ferris, the author of “Star-Spangled Banner: The Unlikely Story of America’s National Anthem,” has written that Key was likely using the term “slave” more loosely, to describe “all of the monarch’s loyal subjects, including British troops — as contrasted with free patriot Americans.” Others argue that this context is academic: The only part of the poem that anyone knows, that anyone ever sings, is the first stanza, the one that begins “O say, can you see.”

But there are also arguments against “The Star-Spangled Banner” on aesthetic grounds, criticisms that have dogged the anthem for decades. For one thing, it’s not an especially American song. Its lyrics are ornate and Anglophile, with syntax that frustrates the efforts of normal human Americans to follow along — to deduce who or what, exactly, is gleaming and streaming.
