Liam Neeson Says He Wanted to Kill ‘Some Black Bastard’ After Hearing About Friend’s Rape

Liam Neeson recalled a disturbing incident in a recent interview.

The actor said, after someone he knew was allegedly raped by a black attacker, he walked the streets hoping to kill some “black bastard” in revenge.

“I went up and down areas with a cosh (a club), hoping I’d be approached by somebody — I’m ashamed to say that — and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could kill him,” the actor said in an interview published on Monday in Britain’s Independent newspaper. He used air quotes when saying the words “black bastard.”

Woman Live-Streams Alleged Sex Assault on Nightclub Dance Floor, Leading to Arrest of Suspect

A 34-year-old Georgia man was charged Tuesday with the alleged sexual assault of a woman on an Atlanta nightclub’s dance floor that was streamed by the alleged victim on Facebook Live.

Dominique Williams is being held without bond, charged with one count of aggravated sodomy, an Atlanta police spokeswoman confirms to PEOPLE.

It was unclear Thursday if he’d pleaded to the charge, and online records do not indicate if he has retained an attorney who could speak to the allegations against him.

An incident report obtained by PEOPLE indicates investigators were alerted to a possible sexual assault at the Opera nightclub in Atlanta on Jan. 20. Several individuals connected to the alleged victim on Facebook called 911 as the alleged assault was taking place.

COURT RULES NONCONSENSUAL SEX WITHOUT VIOLENCE DOESN’T COUNT AS RAPE

A Spanish court has cleared two men who had nonconsensual sex with a woman of rape because their actions weren’t “violent” enough to warrant such a verdict.

The victim’s “vulnerable nature” and prior alcohol intake allowed the pair to have sex with her without resorting to violent acts, the ruling said, according to the BBC.

The court jailed the men for sexual abuse rather than sexual assault—Spain's legal equivalent to rape.

The perpetrators—an uncle and nephew—received sentences of four and a half years. Sexual assault crimes can result in prison terms of up to 15 years in Spain, the BBC stated.

Child bride auctioned on Facebook in 'barbaric use of technology'

Facebook has come under fire for a "barbaric use of technology" that allowed the sale of a child bride to be held on its site.

An auction was held on the social media platform for a 16-year-old girl in South Sudan which sought payment for her hand in marriage.
Facebook said the post was taken down as soon as the company learned of it, but that wasn't until after the girl was married.

According to children's rights organization Plan International, the girl was bid on by five men, some of whom were reportedly high-ranking South Sudanese government officials.

A Teen Was Allegedly Sexually Assaulted With A Broomstick At A Prestigious All-Boys Catholic School In Toronto

Police in Toronto are seeking information on multiple incidents of alleged sexual and physical assaults at a private all-boys Catholic school after videos of two of the alleged assaults surfaced on social media earlier this week.

St. Michael’s College School in Toronto has expelled eight students and suspended one after videos of two separate incidents — one which involved allegations of sexual assault — were circulated online.

Toronto police said Friday that its investigation into one of the incidents — in which a student was allegedly sexually assaulted with a broomstick by a group of boys in a locker room — has opened a “number of occurrences involving incidents of alleged assaultive and sexually assaultive behavior” at the school.

Education Dept. Proposes Enhanced Protection For Students Accused Of Sexual Assault

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos announced sweeping rules on how colleges handle cases of sexual assault and harassment that she says will fix a "failed" and "shameful" system that has been unfair to accused students. In what the administration is calling a "historic process," the proposed rules aim to significantly enhance legal protections for the accused and reflect a sentiment expressed by President Trump that men are unfairly being presumed guilty. More than a year in the making, the rules replace Obama-era policies on how to implement Title IX, the law barring gender discrimination in schools that get federal funding.

The new rules are drawing both applause and anger.

Among the most significant changes is that schools can make it harder to prove allegations by raising the level of proof needed. Instead of requiring only a "preponderance of the evidence," as the Obama administration had directed, schools could demand "clear and convincing evidence." And many schools may well be forced to raise the bar, since the regulations also require that the standard for students be the same as that used for faculty and staff.

HOME’S AWFUL STENCH DWARFED ONLY BY OWNER’S HORRID SEXUAL ABUSE OF HIS DAUGHTER’S FRIEND

The stench of sex offender Matthew Scott Cook's home was so powerful, officers had to leave the house to get Hazmat suits before they returned.

When they did come back, they found the Blue Ash, Ohio home was filled with feces, garbage and more than 100 animals, including snakes and bearded dragons, cluttering the home that also served as the stage for the horrific sexual abuse of a young girl, according to documents obtained by The Cincinnati Enquirer.

The home, where Cook resided with his wife and two daughters, also had a room with sex toys, pornographic videos and a bed equipped with four-point restraints. The bedroom floor was littered with snake skins, the newspaper reports.

Cook pleaded guilty to gross sexual imposition and child pornography charges and was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison for sexually assaulting one of his daughter's friends.

THE U.S. CATHOLIC CHURCH IS FACING AN UNPRECEDENTED WAVE OF SEX ABUSE INVESTIGATIONS

In the months since a Pennsylvania grand jury announced the names of more than 300 priests who’d abused at least 1,000 children, authorities across the United States have launched investigations of unprecedented scale into sex abuse within the U.S. Catholic Church.

On Wednesday, Virginia became at least the 15th state where officials have announced a plan to investigate sex abuse allegations within the Church. At the federal level, the Justice Department has subpoenaed records from at least seven of Pennsylvania’s eight Catholic dioceses, the Associated Press reported last week, in a probe believed to be the first of its kind, according to the Survivors Network of those Abuse by Priests (SNAP).
