I have no idea why it's titled that. Children roasted on a campfire? Awkward boy is coerced into Summer Camp and is assigned his bully as the only roommate. It was the parents idea. WTF? Did that adult counselor flirt with an underage girl in a bathing suit? A campfire tale turns true for a hero that dreams of water overconsumption and death. More than halfway through I thought to skip it but I wanted to know how the collage of badly executed frights added up. It had a great ending whose road to it was cracked. 18-Aug-2026
I zigzagged to the point of disappointment. The sun will cease to exist in 30+ years unless somebody figures a way to save it. A science professor that treats his students like he's Barney is earth's only hope. Sandra Huller takes charge of the project and our attention. Once the basics were revealed the flashbacks destroyed my belief. An ordinary man is tasked with saving a humanity that lacks it. The flashbacks did not move the concept forward. The rock gave me pause but I relented because Mr. Gosling was in supreme mode. I ended up resenting it and it's lack of imagination. I had a pet rock as a kid and nothing good ever came of it. I lost it when somebody threw it at me, my brain began to bleed and I started to scream. The main character is the least descriptive because he was cast as a loner who had nothing to live for. Beauty had no connections? Odd. Huller's character was diminished by a lack of side story. The karaoke characterization spoke of a different spirit not evolved. For some odd reason, I kept comparing it to Armageddon but decided that was impossible. I enjoyed Armageddon. 05-Jul-2026
The things taken for granted were it's most telling. A mother misconstrues that motherhood is about gestures when her backbone is to gift life skills to a child. Survival skills can be inspired by anyone not just the parent. The hypocrisy surrounding the kids was sad. Everyone performing tricks in front of the children for the sake of a selfish purpose is not honorable work. The nannies were as much equipped as AI to care for children and the parents abided by that. AI is not as threatening as a hot nanny who can fuck a rich daddy out of a family. 19-Jun-2026
Wonder Twins versus Freddy Krueger. Sister's superpower is to have 4K dreams of abused boys and brother makes public phones ring. Sibling effects after surviving catastrophe doesn't blend with their present choices. What makes them think they can help anyone when they should be avoiding mental imbalance by obsessing over teenage things. The set-up was an excuse and the love interest looked like the brother which kept jolting me awake confused as to why she was making out with her brother. The film tries tying all it's knots together but they don't hold and it gives way to Carrie/Pazuzu awakenings and It tomfoolery. Boys without dicks equal women with power. 18-May-2026
Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow (1959) 
Before Scooby Doo there was this. An amalgamation of sitcom sensibilities, talking parrot extremes, dance and musical numbers, generation gap dissection, tom foolery, daddy perversions, money problems, stupidity and lesbians galore. Fast & Furious club are being targeted for more money because of it's reputation. Teen daughter is a drag race queen who has to concoct ways to manipulate the club and the cops from not snitching. She's a manhole on wheels. Daddy does not want his daughter fucking around with bees. Mommy needs to hear about good sex from anyone else. Drag racers are misunderstood. The men are pussies to their sometimes womanly lovers. Agatha was devine. The high is so stupid you have to laugh. Me not understanding what my parents' teenage asses said or did was hilarious and relevant. 05-May-2026
I was entertained more by the performance than the act. Bernthal was a pissy prick with a sing songy accent and ripe for entertainment. I wish the show were its own thing instead of being a requirement. The ending is only great if you believe it. It was an 80's pyschopath's excuse for becoming a killer. Bernthal had chemistry with Tessa and she had chemistry with us. 26-Jan-2026
The message is sweet but the idea that adults understand what children dream of is questionable. The obsession with food is gross and teaches kids to be unkempt and nauseating. A town full of talking, walking junk food "on the street" is not a banner for hygiene or a wet dream. I'm old-fashioned. Kid stories should be thoughtful, incisive, imaginative, realistic and responsible. Teach them something they can use! Food being a big part of a child's dream wish list signifies worst things than a nightmare. The art was pleasant, the voices fit and I wasn't unnerved...much. 19-Dec-2025
Michelle keeps us in place because her depiction of a thinly written character was hard to resist. She made us believe that she believed in those emotions. If she weren't in it I would have bowed out. The capable support were cutouts from an era I'm not familiar with. Most of the conversations and threads made no sense and people don't/shouldn't react that way. The able support is saddled with lame dialogue and situations that didn't resonate. Poor Jason got the worst of it. Stalking young lesbians that are related is creepy. The point was definite with no space to grow emotionally. We know exactly where it's headed in the first few minutes. A woman's choice to free herself of ingratitude is to become vacuous. An injection of tenderness and subtlety was desperately needed. 08-Dec-2025
I understand that art speeds up because the present brain is scanning faster than usual but art should teach them to contain it. Relax. The buffoonery was too much. It was immature and condescending to adults. Girl interaction was a high point. Music didn't suck with some being better than others. I think there were too many. How about establishing more of the girls' purpose and desires a bit more? Art is dreamy, both sexes are cool, the story is questionable and the mythology makes no sense. 21-Jul-2025
Amy Rose and her Piko Piko Hammer were sorely missing. Unless she died somewhere I missed. Nothing tames a beast better than an "optimistic, bubbly and eager" pink thing with tits. The best nemesis for a Shadow hedgehog. Robotnick was too much and the silliness didn't stop at an itch but until you ripped your skin off. I tried playing this game and became frustrated with all the things I had to build. Why would I want to build ugly shit? I hated it. Hats off to Momoa for choosing the loser role. Black brought the energy but not the charisma. The children looked dirtier than the adults so they didn't register. I wanted to yank Momoa's stupid wig off. TG they hired some minorities to qualify for Oscars. Always silly, sometimes funny with no substantial skills taught to kids. 23-Jun-2025
Ralph Fiennes made fucking a priest less criminal. Ditto Tucci. Lithgow reinterpreted De Palma creepiness to great success. I was educated, enlightened, intrigued and delighted. Wow. Penguins see color too. Fred Zinnemann inspirations abound and they were welcomed. Isabella slayed like Nurse Ratchett. It was careful to remain on course, turn gossip sporty and entertain methodically. Religion took a back seat. TG. 11-May-2025
It's more of an exercise than it is an accomplishment. I stayed tuned because the man who cracks dicks with his ass is charming as fuck. None of the support matches him. The symbiotes' history did not have enough humanity to make me care. The action sequences depended heavily on coincidence. The chemistry between Mrs. Chen and Mr. Hardy was wasted. The threat was so surreal that it became mute. I stayed to memorize Hardy's butt but he didn't turn around much. 01-Mar-2025
Amy Adams reached deep to elaborate on a desperate housewife. She is the talent the film lacks. The dog's characteristics were outdated and confusing. Dogs cuddle, feed, shit, cling, get jealous, are dependent and will bite you. How does a dog with benign traits empower anybody? The philosophy didn't properly explain itself. It adds enough to the genre to make it interesting but it doesn't supply enough tech or empathetic reasoning to make it a classic. Ms. Fox is a royal maximizer of presence and a soulless entity suits her well. Michelle Morone made me want to go to the bathroom and jerk off to straight italian porn. Madeline Zima played a thankless role that depended solely on her likability and that's better than nothing. The movie satisfied but didn't satiate. More tech or more sex would have knocked it towards art park. No budget for more tech means they would have to physically create it. So, create it.
