Nothing replaces a good night’s sleep. As noted by Time Magazine, “It’s nature’s panacea, more powerful than any drug in its ability to restore and rejuvenate the human brain and body.”

Anything less than the recommended seven to nine hours has been proven to lead to emotional problems like anxiety and depression, puts you at heightened risk for certain diseases, and may even impact your career according to Harvard.
A lack of sleep also makes any preexisting physical or psychological issues you suffer from worse.

Brand formerly known as Aunt Jemima reveals new name

The longtime brand announced they would remove the outdated image of Aunt Jemima at the end of 2020, with the name change happening at a later date. The new logo is slated to appear on store shelves in June 2021.

The history of Aunt Jemima is somewhat muddled, but in a 2015 piece for The New York Times, Riché Richardson, an associate professor of African American literature in the Africana Studies and Research Center at Cornell University, explained the brand’s name and original logo were inspired by a minstrel song about a "mammy" caricature, “Old Aunt Jemima.”

So long, salad bar: Grocers get creative, consider robots to revive prepared food

Grocery stores have shut down self-serve salad bars during the pandemic. They’ve taken away displays of fresh olives and dips. And they’ve replaced giant kettles of ready-to-ladle hot soup with sealed to-go containers.

The deli and prepared food areas that used to draw traffic to stores and differentiate grocers have fallen from favor as customers worry about the spread of the coronavirus, cook more from scratch and try to limit their time in stores.

Grocers are trying to revive those parts of the store with new approaches. At Publix, salad bars and hot bars have reopened, but employees dish out each item. Wegmans moved hummus, olives and more behind a counter where cheese shop employees fill orders. And at Texas-based H-E-B, some coolers carry prepared meals from local restaurants and a former food bar became an ice chest of beers.

NJ students’ learning declined during pandemic

Specifically, it found that 37% of all students are learning below their grade level, in both English and math classes. In english language classes, a breakdown of the information for kindergarten through 10th grade shows that students for whom English is not their first language, 65% are below grade level. For economically disadvantaged students, the number is 54% below grade level. It’s 52% for Hispanics, and 51% for African Americans.
