Favreau & Pascal Caught In ‘Mandalorian’ Controversy
Over the past several months, opposing hashtags — #FireGinaCarano, #WeLoveCaraDune, and #IStandWithGinaCarano — all trended at various points in time. The former women’s MMA fighter frequently thanked her supporters and clapped back at her “haters” with various posts, including a Yoda meme and a Princess Bride quote.
The straw that broke the camel’s back in regard to Gina Carano was a Tweet that many deemed anti-Semitic. The Hollywood Reporter shared Lucasfilm’s official statement about firing the Star Wars actress:
“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future,” a Lucasfilm spokesperson said in a statement. “Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
Almost immediately after news about Carano’s firing broke, social media users began noting that Pascal, too, has previously shared a post that compared modern day American culture to Nazi Germany during the Holocaust.

Dad says NYC DOE public schools are ‘brainwashing’ kids with woke agenda
In 2017, our 5-year-old son came home from kindergarten and said he was studying a famous teenage transgender girl in school. I’d never heard of her, but he said her name was Jazz Jennings (formerly a boy who transitioned a few years ago and has so far had three gender reassignment surgeries.)
I knew his school was liberal, so in the beginning I didn’t worry too much. But I did tell the principal I thought it was inappropriate. He disagreed. He told me, “We would never teach something inappropriate.”
In 2018, my son and daughter were in the same elementary school, and their principal started involving parents as if they were part of the problem, too. We were told to read Michelle Alexander’s “The New Jim Crow” and Ibram X. Kendi’s book, “How to Be an Antiracist.” I read both books, and had issues with them both. Alexander argues that the war on drugs is racist. This is crazy talk because drugs were and still are devastating the black community. Kendi says that unless you’re actively pushing for “equity” all the time, you’re racist. So, for example, the city wants to abolish testing for its more competitive schools because there aren’t enough black kids passing the test. But this lowers the bar for everyone. In my opinion, this so-called anti-racism is hurting black people.

Oliver Stone Criticizes Hollywood for Turning Into an 'Alice in Wonderland' Tea Party
Oliver Stone is not a fan of the current state of Hollywood and is in no hurry to work with a studio on a mainstream film as he says the town has gone "mad."
Talking to the New York Times Magazine for a recently published interview with David Marchese, the controversial Stone called modern moviemaking "ridiculous."
"It's just so expensive — the marketing," Stone began. "Everything has become too fragile, too sensitive. Hollywood now — you can't make a film without a COVID adviser. You can't make a film without a sensitivity counselor. It's ridiculous." The Oscar-winning filmmaker granted the interview to discuss his upcoming memoir, Chasing the Light.
"The Academy changes its mind every five, 10, two months about what it's trying to keep up with," Stone told the magazine. "It's politically correct [expletive], and it's not a world I'm anxious to run out into. I've never seen it quite mad like this. It's like an Alice in Wonderland tea party."

THE PROBLEM WITH ‘BORN GAY’
But the “born this way” narrative doesn’t resonate with everyone, and some doubt whether it’s a useful basis on which to advance the rights and freedoms of sexual minorities. In their research on this topic, Lisa M. Diamond and Clifford J. Rosky concluded that advocates shouldn’t use the idea of sexual immutability to advance the rights of sexual minorities for three reasons:
They’re unjust, because they implicitly accept that same-sex attractions and relationships are inferior (“I can’t help but be like this”).
They’re unnecessary, because judges have used grounds other than immutability to protect the rights of sexual minorities, like anti-discrimination, privacy and the harm caused by laws targeting same-sex couples.
They’re unscientific, i.e. it’s just not true that all people experience their sexuality as fixed — it can change and be chosen.

Porn Habits of Average Teen Aren’t Dangerous, Says Study
Whether it was the thrill of finding your parents’ Playboy stash or locked-down cable TV channel, a lot of people can agree that porn was a major theme of approaching adulthood. Fortunately, a new study suggests that watching porn as a teen didn’t mess you up as much as you might have thought.
In fact, a new study published in The Journal of Sex Research suggests that the porn-watching habits of teenagers – both male and female – are not harmful to their eventual sexual health. Contrary to what so many parents and preachers would have one believe, this recent bit of research seems to suggest that it's perfectly fine for Tom, Dick, Anna, or Jane to indulge in some porn every once in a while.

“Women, are the n-word of the world,” she sent. “Raped, beaten, enslaved, married off, worked like dumb animals; denied education and inheritance; enduring the pain and danger of childbirth and life IN SILENCE for THOUSANDS of years They are the most disrespected creatures on earth.”
