It's sweet but reserved. A man's life is explored by the people he touched and inspired him. The main facets of a person's life told out of order with much respect. Does the universe die with you when you go? The actors were easy to like and most eloquent. Hiddleston's time is short but he made the best of it. I watched ready to be disappointed but I was not. It was made for a future generation to fuss over and dissect. Pattinson is a beaten man who has to keep dying in order to survive. His accent and softness humanized Mickey 17 and convinced me to follow him. Pattinson's flashlight stayed on throughout even while twinning. Ruffalo's villain was way over the top. Naomi Aaki pumps the heart and kicks the ass. It's original, bonkers, nerdy and funny but the film lacked space. The supporting cast could have used it. I never stopped caring. 30-Dec-2025
It wasn't something I expected but am very pleased that it turned out that way. Patience begets understanding, information and the importance of acting as a whole instead of as an individual. I presumed that our leads gave a great performance in their native language but I chose dub and the acting was horrible, esp. the adorable child. It didn't matter because talking wasn't necessary. There are only so many words one can blurt out in an end of life scenario. It haunted, it accelerated and broke a few hearts. 23-Dec-2025
The message is sweet but the idea that adults understand what children dream of is questionable. The obsession with food is gross and teaches kids to be unkempt and nauseating. A town full of talking, walking junk food "on the street" is not a banner for hygiene or a wet dream. I'm old-fashioned. Kid stories should be thoughtful, incisive, imaginative, realistic and responsible. Teach them something they can use! Food being a big part of a child's dream wish list signifies worst things than a nightmare. The art was pleasant, the voices fit and I wasn't unnerved...much. 19-Dec-2025

It was the most frightening yet. S1E7. The best way to honor culture is to be honest and inquisitive. I do not understand what It is, more than when I read the book as a child. It was a hefty book. I read on because a beast's rape of a boy sounded familiar to me. I was born to it. I think Bill betrayed his Pennywise character by acting like a kid pretending to be an adult as a human. It was a letdown. The culture clash is not storytelling but stoning. How is one group better than the other? I kept thinking, if we nixed the adult footage would it matter, more?

The babies don't step on cues and are willing to make their characters heart-born. I always resented Charlie Brown for cancelling adults but it should apply here. Every time the children were not present, the momentum faltered. The prequel suffers from grandiosity when it needed to be more intimate. It's how gradually works. It never starts better. Where were these military bastards in the future? I'm confused. Is anybody going to explain why dead boy proclaimed that It sleeps all day and feeds all night? I say, "then why is It terrorizing them during the day? Constantly!" The only acceptable answer is, "he was lying." If all doors to a fantasy are left open, it would create chaos. I suspend disbelief in order to enjoy the story but I can't tolerate the nonsensical. The prequel boggles the part of the imagination I would need to believe. TMI. 29-Nov-2025
Del Toro kept me in awe and made imaginative choices. Oscar was an excitable Victor, full of verve, vigor and craft. Mia cast a bright shine whenever she appeared and her dresses were resplendent. Elordi lent the creature beauty and humanity. There were times where I saw the actor underneath but it was only an x-ray. The man was fully invested. The story was inspiring, the style elegant, the horror realistic and the action pulsating. 09-Nov-2025
Monster: The Ed Gein Story (2025) 
Hunnan's depiction is the main reason we anticipate. He was pitch perfect and sublime. A Joker in the making. Lighting made him appear like a a tight Peacemaker sometimes, at others, detached and always anybody but himself. Casting was challenging. The actor portraying Hitch sounded better than he represented. It was Hitch on Ozempic. Anthony Perkins was tall, skinny as a toothpick and had nervous characteristics that glued him to a psychopath. That was not apparent to the actor portraying him or the one who hired him. Tobe Hooper was unwound? Adeline had moments. Christine Jorgensen was spot on. A man can create life but only a woman can guide it. The frills were sometimes burps between segment changes. It's eeriness was special, the thoughts were well constructed and the monster breaks our heart. Is that right? 07-Oct-2025
I thought that the human Pleakley was Jonathan Groff. After comparing butts I was less assured. Magnusson was great. My coordinates kept getting fucked up. The film succeeds with humanity, culture and respect. Animation and live art expand its universe. Is it Nani or Noni? S3 brought back what was missing in the second season, clever games and family heartbreak. I gave up on the technical side because I know it won't add up and it would skew my opinion but they shot through our hearts in subtle and beautiful ways. The trans was heroic and sympathetic, the grandma broke our hearts and the lead was magnificent. That face. I finally understood his character, his pride and redemption. The extra game member seemed gimmicky but it worked because it got to the heart of the matter. Knives and keys was a gripping episode because of the surprises, heartbeats and bravery. The games were creative and scary as fuck. The asides halted the momentum and achieved little purpose but the detective was pretty as fuck. The actors were a crew and they showed it. It isn't better than the first but it's a fitting end. 04-Jul-2025
S2 is missing something. Impact. A feeling of exhaustion permeated and interrupted some of the proceedings. The games didn't rivet, the cast was stereotypically goofy, compassion was limited and sense started to drag. The ship shenanigans didn't have closure or purpose. I presume the save will be last minute in S3. Thinking you can overtake a heavily guarded facility is ludicrous. In life I doubt that a majority of people would choose to die. I wanted to see people go home. Why doesn't anyone hook up? A grab and a rub here and there wouldn't hurt. How do the men deal with morning wood? I'm losing empathy. 04-Jan-2025

A group of instinctual individuals are given the opportunity to have their financial struggles resolved. They have to play children's games that are only safe in rhythm but not rhyme. The performers were in sync hitting their marks allowing co-stars to follow. Dialogue described the pain in loving and surviving after death. The father's illness was not a prop to fit the story but a slice of what he may be experiencing. Once my curiosity peaked I faithfully followed. Boy goes into cave during a storm and his older brother and friend fail to rescue him. 15 years later he returns to town to visit his sick dad and unforgivable mother. A lot of the town resent him for surviving. With girlfriend and child in tow they have to battle the consequences of everyone's actions esp. after another death happens. It is written by people who live life instead of brag about it. The twists and turns throw us off the scent but the reveal played it safe when realizing scary clues would have elevated the heartbreak. The cast were too good to single out. Jessica De Gouw's hair was retro hot. I know I singled her out but only because her hair was so there. How could I keep my mouth shut? 14-Jun-2025
How to live miserably after war. Adrien Brody is a face actor that can establish a film's mood just by expression. He thought his character through and delivered a powerhouse performance. My odd fascination with sound made me hone in on his accent. Nothing peculiar with most of it. It was only when he ended with the letter T. He hit it hard when it needed to fade. The cast played beautiful notes. Guy Pierce was evolved and polished, the film held my interest, the writing was thoughtful and the direction was committing but I couldn't find a reason to care. First. You can't cry rape if you yourself have committed it. She got her husband off when he didn't want to. He cried as she was doing it. Second. That rape scene was so vague that I thought they were doing something else. Third. Why did Atilla accuse Lazlo of flirting with his wife if he pushed him into thinking it was a threesome? Fourth. Why was Lazlo's temper so short after surviving war? He'd be meek, get used and gradually transform into a raging lunatic. Fifth. The niece's silence drove me crazy. She didn't even grunt. Ralph Fiennes made fucking a priest less criminal. Ditto Tucci. Lithgow reinterpreted De Palma creepiness to great success. I was educated, enlightened, intrigued and delighted. Wow. Penguins see color too. Fred Zinnemann inspirations abound and they were welcomed. Isabella slayed like Nurse Ratchett. Joe Rosenberg is little boys raised to woo a woman like only a fake prince could. Male awakenings are destructive and mentally detrimental. The premise simplified things to improve characterization. Good choice. A happy marriage to a foreign twat and reunited with a relinquished child, Joe is living the life of a planner, pioneer and romanticist. The wife has secrets and Joe has plenty of funny quips to unlock them. Joe's flubs were used to diminish his endurance as a famous serial killer. He was brushed off. Bringing people back from the dead, unless it's Ripley, Xena or Buffy is detrimental to reality. Women need an army to bring one man down. What a waste of taxpayer's money. Meet and greet with couple psycho could have been more casual, less criminal and more romantic. Ms Camp steals and saves a lot of her scenes because it took me a while to recognize her as another character and because I laughed when I found out. Pen went there and was brilliant. His breakdown was cathartic. The ladies reinforced that what restrains a man isn't himself but a notion. My finale would have consisted of him going Jason Vorhees on everybody without the mask, a bare chest, naked, weopanized and killing to the max. 10-May-2025

S3E9. The dork talks to dead people, now? It's a lazy writing gimmick. Who's bankrolling the fancy cages? Why is the entrance to the cage not padlocked? How do people shit in that cage?
