Canadian Woman Goes On Horrifying Racist Tirade Against Asian Driver Who Hit Her Car
When someone dings your car or parks poorly in the parking lot, it can make you roll your eyes, curse, or even scrawl a hastily written note about parking etiquette. However, some people take the direct approach and wait to speak with the driver themselves. Amy Xu is one of those people, and when she came back to her car to discover that another car had actually come into contact with hers in the parking lot she stopped to speak with the other driver. Who is Carla Waldman? She's the woman who did the bad parking and Amy wasn't remotely prepared for the reaction she would have.

A patchwork of anti-discrimination laws don't protect LGBTQ workers
While working at a Billings, Montana, auto dealership in 2016, Kathleen O’Donnell said mechanics would frequently sling insults behind her back, calling her “faggot” and referring to her as “Bob” or “Joe” because of her closely cropped hair. A few days before her six-month probationary period at the dealership ended, O’Donnell recalled, her manager, with tears in his eyes, told her he had to fire her because she was gay. It was the first time O’Donnell had been fired from a job.

'Fake' anti-racism campaigns don't affect anyone, claims Evra
The former defender says leagues must take stronger action to fight racism in football
Patrice Evra says anti-racism campaigns in football such as Kick It Out are "fake" and ineffective in tackling the issue.
The former Manchester United, Juventus and France defender was on the receiving end of racist remarks from Luis Suarez in a famous incident during a clash between the Old Trafford side and Liverpool in October 2011.
Racism remains a big issue throughout world football, as has been highlighted by several recent high-profile incidents in England and Italy, where Moise Kean and Kalidou Koulibaly have suffered racial abuse.

Mexican singer says he was trafficked and abused as a teenager
Luis Armando Campos says singing is his life. At 23, he's already had a very impressive singing career that started when he was just a child in his native Tampico, a port city in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas.
"I was about 11, almost 12, when I first appeared on a local TV show in Tampico," Campos said.
In 2014, he was a semi-finalist in "The Voice Mexico." The international reality singing competition franchise took his career to new levels. Even though he didn't win, Campos has since toured Mexico with his music. But what his increasing number of fans didn't know, Campos says, is that while his career was taking off, he was forced to live a double life -- as a sex slave.
Monsters kidnap toddler in India before raping, beheading her
We don't want to talk to kids about sex but we will allow them to assign whatever sex they like. When I was a kid I never thought about sex, even when I was being abused. I believe they should be allowed to express themselves but we shouldn't sway them either way and parents overreact when society views them. Loving them should come naturally. Putting so much pressure on it makes the media a bad parent. Why can't we accept that people will behave in a certain way when they have different beliefs. In the Bizzarro World my mother would have made me wear dresses because I played with a doll. I would have hated that. Pretending is not acquiescing. Eventually, they will hurt you. We need to encourage children to detach from negative people, not support them while they stab you in the back.
Parents destroy us but only the world can kill us. You want to create a better environment for LGBTQ youth to strive in, give them survival skills. Barking at other dogs isn't going to save them. You need to reach the wolves.
Hipitty-Hop and religion are notoriously hostile to LGBTQ yet we revere and turn the other cheek. God might strike us down and the black community will kill us. (We didn't struggle when they killed disco even though it spoke to our community.) So we keep going to Chick-fil-A and pretend that talking is finally singing. Why don't we hit what reverberates? Almost every gay white single has hip-hop listed as a preference but would never date anyone of color. We continue to masturbate to celebrities that hate us. We hate stereotypes but are constantly bombarded by them. We think commitment is a roommate and what's left over from a surrogate's abortion. We need to fix us to teach our children. We don't need coddling, we need action. My mother prays for everything while doing nothing. The world is ending...we can't save it...what do we do? (Give your kids some fucking books so they can become smart and solve that shit themselves.) Why are we making our lives more miserable to satisfy a kid of your kid I will never meet.
How about punishing parents who throw LGBTQ kids out into the street? It sounds like a crime. Start there. If parents raise a bully they should be fined and be required to attend parental classes. Fuck, make future parents get licenses to have kids.
If you're not going after the big guns, you are all hypocrites and your kids will continue to perish.
Campaigns shouldn't ring bells but bang drums... 01-Aug-2019
As a society we assign tremendous power to family esp. "the parents." I've never met these "mortals fantastic," generated from a Hollywood dream. Every parent is a composite of things well intentioned and future regrets. They know they can't be perfect therefore the excuses.
Mother: I was a single mother with no money fighting for our lives yet I found a way to clean them and feed them. Wilfred was his name.
Everybody applauded her and put her on a pedestal. It was an argument no child could win. The world was incapable of seeing her true self. She brewed a glow from a mother's sacrifice. We were branded silly little liars if my sister or I complained to an adult. Now, I am clinically insane so they wont believe my stories of abuse. Family first. Keep your witnesses close and the snitches chained.
She accepted my coming out with a "but" and a lifetime of attempts at changing it.
Mother: thank God you're not a flamer. I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
You mean it could have been worst?
She drugged me so I could sleep with a cousin while two other cousins and herself, watched and cheered. She had my lesbian aunt make out with my boyfriend and grind on him so no one would question anybody's sexuality. When I would break up with a boyfriend she'd scowl at me and tell me to get over it. It wasn't real love. It was two guys. My stepfather concurred. I sounded like a maniac rendering my feelings.
Mother: you should stop this shit now with the guys. Only a woman can make you happy.
I had to come out every time it didn't work out with a boy.
To everyone, she represented survival and progression. She accepted everyone. She was a goddess. She knew the power of a woman. She was not a threat to her brethren and she knew what a man wanted. She told me it was pretense. It was a secret between mother and son. She created a role fitting the person she was trying to mentally seduce from pieces scattered in her reality. She changed them. (OMG. That's Errattic.)
Blah, blah, blah...she's a monster.
I believe every person deserves respect. Every time the media latches onto the joy of parenting without consideration to how the child feels, it's inconsiderate. You are giving them the right to kill us. Almost every person I've ever met has been abused by their parents. We act like it's an anomaly. My mother told me she loved me everyday and did unimaginable things to me. She'd rather celebrate my failures than allow me a win.
Mother: I told you so.
The scary parents aren't going to be talking to experts about their skills. Experts are for the privileged. They have their own fuck-ups. These are the parents we are confusing and bullying to love everything about a kid. Just because they said "hello" doesn't mean that they will love you. Those parents are going to bolt the door and you will find out about the abuse when he or she is dead. That's dangerous.
We don't need scary people pretending. They will infiltrate your lives and wait for that moment to slice you because..."they told you so."
Teach the kids to run. It never gets better. "They never understood, they just accepted it."
In old age mother finds different but no less strategic ways to abuse. It always takes me back to the room where I cowered from her fists as a wee.
I wish society would allow us to shoo away the monster without guilt.

Mattress heir’s hubby groped me: home chef
A male chef says groping was on the menu when he worked for a Manhattan mattress heiress, whose husband “aggressively” grabbed his backside and engaged in creepy antics, he alleges.
Joshua Wojtowicz claims in a complaint that Greg Williamson gave him an unwanted hug on his first day on the job at the couple’s $12 million Upper West Side pad, where Williamson lives with his wife Kate.
Williamson’s wife is the daughter of Richard Yulman, founder of the Serta mattress manufacturing company, National Bedding Co.
Kate is also named in the complaint the chef filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission July 8 for allegedly doing nothing as her husband allegedly sexually harassed Williamson last year.

This daycare rejected a child because of her lesbian parents
When Brittney Ready and her wife Stacey enrolled their youngest daughter Callie in the daycare program of Parkview Christian Academy of Waco, Texas, they hoped their child would continue being raised in the Christian faith, just like they’d done at home. Instead, Callie was rejected because her parents are lesbians.
In a public Facebook post, Brittney wrote that the school called she and her partner in when they had an opening for their daughter.
Brittney said, “With excitement we went in this afternoon ready to see the place and get her started. The director was super sweet and welcoming to us and Callie! We go to leave with paperwork in hand only for the administrator to call us into his office to let us know that he heard that Stacey and I are “mates” (first off we aren’t animals) and because of that they cannot welcome her (Callie).”
When Brittney asked why her child was no longer welcome, the administrator reportedly said, “bylaws are bylaws” and that the school’s Christian faith disallowed the school from accepting Callie.
I Just Experienced a Sexual Horror Story. Will I Ever Bounce Back?
I recently went on a couple of dates with a guy I’ve had a crush on for a while. I was very much looking forward to jumping his bones. The dates went well, and we went back to his place, and ... I didn’t perform well. At all. He was really sweet about it, but I was mortified.
I’m pretty sure he’s open to seeing me again, because he seemed disappointed that I left so soon afterwards. (I was feeling terrible about it and just wanted to GTFO.) The problem is, I feel like I can’t go on another date with him until I prove that I’m actually good at sex! I usually get accolades from the people I’m with so this was a huge blow to my ego. I want to go out with him again but I feel like I won’t pay attention to anything until I get another chance at it. But even then I’m terrified that I’ll be too in my own head about it and it’ll happen again.
What should I do? Text him to see if he’s available for a quick hookup and get it out of the way? Go on another date with him and deal with the fact that we’ll both be thinking about how poorly last time went the whole time we’re sitting there? I like him a lot, and I don’t want to reduce him to this mountain I have to climb to prove my worth but .... yeah that’s kind of exactly how I feel. Help!

WICCAN PROFESSOR AT CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY TOLD SHE "MIGHT NOT WANT TO BE SO OVERT ABOUT BEING A WITCH"
A college professor in western New York is suing the Catholic university she woks for, claiming the school discriminated against her because she is a Wiccan.
In a suit filed last month, Pauline Hoffman, a journalism professor at St. Bonaventure University in Allegany, New York, claims administrators at the 161-year-old Franciscan college pressured her to resign as dean of the communications school because they had a problem with her religion. Hoffman, 49, also alleged St. Bonaventure denied her a promotion to provost, the college's highest academic post.
She's seeking the reinstatement of her job, as well as lost wages, reimbursement of medical costs for therapy, and an unspecified amount in damages for pain and suffering.

Ex-chauffeur claims racism and sexual harassment by mom, daughter: suit
A wealthy mother and daughter living in “Grey Gardens”-like squalor subjected their personal assistant to racist slurs and sexual harassment, according to a new Westchester County lawsuit.
Shamel Thompson says he was paid $1,750 a week to chauffeur around the 28-year-old daughter, Becky Stein, and do simple housework at her and her mother’s $4 million White Plains home, which was “permeated with junk,” according to court papers.
But it turned into the job from hell, with Becky spewing the N-word at him and demanding that he wipe feces from her genitals, the suit says.

Straight Oklahoma Ally Creates Anti-Bigot Pride Truck, Ends Homophobia
A straight man in Oklahoma became a viral queer ally after decorating his truck in honor of Pride month. Cody Barlow used colored duct tape to create a rainbow flag on the back of his truck, writing on Facebook that he’d “found a way to show my support for pride month” with the flag and using mailbox letters to write a message: “Not all country boys are bigots. Happy Pride month.”
“This is important to me, not only because I have family and friends that are LGBTQ+, but also because countless people have dealt with hatred and judgement simply for who they are, and/or who they love, for far too long,” wrote Barlow. “Obviously doing this isn’t going to change the minds of those who are intolerant, but hopefully it can help drown out the hatred with love.”

Black teacher at New Jersey elementary school says she suffered 'abusive and hostile treatment' daily
The first black teacher hired in more than 25 years at an elementary school in southern New Jersey says she was discriminated against daily and suffered retaliation when she complained, according to a federal lawsuit.
She quit after her second year.
When Tammy Jordan began as a second grade teacher at Larchmont Elementary School in Mount Laurel in 2016, she was the first full-time black teacher to be hired since 1990, according to the suit she filed May 29 against the school, the school district and the board of education, and four former colleagues.
"Defendants have avoided hiring black, African American teachers due to the discrimination and harassment to which black, African American teachers are subjected to at Larchmont Elementary School," the suit filed in U.S. District Court in New Jersey says. "Accordingly, there are almost no black, African American teachers at Larchmont Elementary School."

Catholic priest blasted for asking 'ladies' to dress modestly to 'protect the purity of the men at holy Mass'
A Catholic priest was blasted on Twitter for asking "ladies" to dress modestly to "protect the purity of men at holy Mass." And while Father Kevin M. Cusick later tweeted that he isn't backing down from his request, it appears his Twitter account has since been deleted.
Cusick — who's from the Washington, D.C., area — on Monday posted the following tweet: "Ladies, a priest I know was forced on Sunday to ask a woman at Mass to cover her shoulders. Please help the priest to protect the purity of the men at holy Mass by choosing to dress modestly. The alternative is awkward for all involved. Thank you."

Third Dallas man charged after gay men targeted on app
A third Dallas man has been charged with federal hate crimes in connection with a string of kidnappings and robberies in 2017 that targeted gay men lured to an apartment from posts on a dating app.
Court records show that Daryl Henry, 22, is charged with nine counts, including conspiracy to commit hate crimes, kidnapping and carjacking, according to The Dallas Morning News. Henry pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, and a judge ordered him held without bond pending trial.
Investigators said Henry guarded the victims after they were kidnapped. His attorney said Henry hasn't committed any violent crimes and had asked that he be released on bond. If convicted, Henry could face up to life in prison, according to prosecutors.
The federal indictment said the defendants used the gay dating app Grindr to create fake profiles and "pose as gay men interested in 'dates' to lure gay men." Once the victims arrived, the suspects forced them into the Dallas apartment.

Leaked Records Reveal Tony Robbins Berated Abuse Victims, And Former Followers Accuse Him Of Sexual Advances
When Tony Robbins leaps onstage in arenas around the world, under strobe lights and pulsing speakers, he’s greeted by thousands of screaming fans. They clap with him, jump with him, and when he puffs his chest and lets out a primal roar, they roar with him too.
The world’s most famous self-help guru whips crowds into fits of euphoria few pop stars could dream of, but many of his fans are grappling with life’s most serious problems. Victims of sexual and physical abuse, along with people who struggle with addiction and have mental illnesses, pay thousands of dollars to see him on the promise he has the power to “transform your life” and “rewire your brain.”
At the core of Robbins’ teachings is the message that his followers should not see themselves as victims, and should instead view their pain as something they have the power to “destroy.” He claims to have revolutionized millions of lives with this philosophy, while building a multibillion-dollar business and working with celebrities from Donald Trump and Bill Clinton to Oprah and the Kardashians. Access to his most exclusive membership program has cost as much as $85,000 a year.
But behind that dazzling veneer, Robbins guards his empire with intense secrecy. Employees are bound by strict confidentiality agreements, and audiences who attend his multiday coaching camps must sign contracts forbidding them from recording what goes on inside.
