'Home Improvement' Actor Zachery Ty Bryan Arrested in Oregon

Zachery Ty Bryan, the actor who played the oldest son on the long-running 1990s sit-com Home Improvement, was arrested in Oregon and faces charges of strangulation and assault.

The Eugene Police Department said officers were dispatched to a North Eugene apartment Friday night on a report of a physical dispute. They found Bryan, 39, sitting outside and his girlfriend, 27, at a neighboring apartment.

Bryan reportedly assaulted the victim, impeded her breathing, and took her phone away when she tried to call 911, police said. The victim declined medical assistance.

Why Lucille Ball’s Daughter Tells Aspiring Actors To Find a Different Profession–’Make Sure You Get a Porno Tape Out There’

Show business has changed quite a but since I Love Lucy was on the air. Lucille Ball and her daughter, Lucie Arnaz, experienced two very different versions of Hollywood. And as Arnaz reflects on the industry today, she doesn’t like what she sees. That’s why she tells aspiring actors to “change your mind” when they ask her for advice on breaking into show business.

When Arnaz was interviewed by the Television Academy Foundation in 2016, she was asked what advice she had for aspiring actresses. First, she says she’d try to convince them to find a different career.

“I think this business has changed so dramatically. I would not recommend anybody going into it. There are half as many parts as there were when we were growing up,” she said.

Arnaz notes that the rise of reality TV has to do with there being fewer parts for actors.

“There’s all kinds of reality TV now because that’s cheaper for everybody to do. There doesn’t seem to be a difference between a reality star and a star star. So why work so hard? Make sure you get a p*rno tape out there right away. That’ll help,” she said sarcastically. “I mean, as you can see, I’m a little, just–I’m baffled by the business at present.”

Mac Davis, Singer, Actor and TV Variety Show Host, Dies at 78

Davis became known as the songwriter behind the Elvis Presley hits “In the Ghetto,” “A Little Less Conversation” and “Memories” before reaching No. 1 himself on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Baby, Don’t Get Hooked on Me” in 1971. He soon parlayed his pop success into a career based more in country music. Davis was named entertainer of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 1974 and was nominated for that same title the same year by the Country Music Association.

Davis’ sex appeal and easy charm made him a favorite on the talk show circuit, and he was rewarded with his own NBC variety series, “The Mac Davis Show,” from 1974-76, followed by annual network Christmas specials that spanned well into the ’80s. He even had a brief span as a leading man in feature films, peaking right out of the gate as Nick Nolte’s fellow leading man in the 1979 football drama “North Dallas Forty.”

Call Me By Your Name director defends casting straight actors and shying away from full frontal male nudity

The idea that a marginalised minority should be given the opportunity to portray themselves on the big screen was dismissed by Guadagnino in a new interview with The Independent.

“I read too much Freud to be taking seriously these kind of critics, meaning that I honestly don’t believe I have the right to decide whether an actor is straight or not,” he said.

“Who am I to know what somebody is thinking of himself or herself within themselves? Yes, Armie is a straight man with a wife and children and the same can be said of Timothée. But do I ask them to swear on their sexuality, on their identities, on their desires, before I cast them? I don’t!”

Don Lemon Bursts Into Tears While Discussing Friend & Co-Worker Chris Cuomo's Coronavirus Diagnosis

CNN anchor Don Lemon got emotional Tuesday night while talking with his friend and fellow news anchor Chris Cuomo, who has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

After discussing what people can do if they cannot pay their mortgages or rents with colleague Bianna Golodryga on CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, the host started to tear up.

“I said I wasn’t going to do this,” Lemon, 54, said wiping away tears with a tissue.

“He’s probably at home laughing at me,” the host joked before explaining how close he is with his colleague.

“Chris and I are really good friends, we live near each other,” adding, “anyway, he’s not here, and we have this great relationship.”

The adult actress Heather Vahn opens up about the emotional and physical abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of fellow porn actor Tommy Wood. And she’s not the only one.

Vahn is seated across from me at The Daily Beast’s office in Manhattan. She appears emotionally drained, breaking down in tears several times during the course of our conversation. The popular adult actress, 31, is here to discuss the horrific cycle of psychological and physical abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of Tommy Wood, a rising adult film star who recently had a feature role in the AVN award-winning Drive, and whom AVN, the adult industry’s premier trade magazine, recently branded a “fresh face.”

A little over a week ago, on March 8, Vahn tweeted out graphic images of her bruised body to her 84,000-plus followers, accompanied by a message: “this wasn’t consensual. this happened as a result of wanting to ‘talk out’ an incident and he wanted to sleep and talk in the morning. When I said no we talk now – this was my punishment. THIS MAN IS IN PORN NOW.”

Gay Porn Star Demands Bottoms Get Paid Equal to Tops

As we continue to grapple with the issue of pay inequity and transparency across industries, one performer has kickstarted the conversation within the gay porn realm — and from the responses, it seems as if this is a discussion that was long overdue.

Last weekend, Armond Rizzo took to his Twitter to call out a studio called Blacks on Boys for allegedly underpaying bottoms in their productions. In a series of tweets and a follow-up livestream video, Rizzo said that the studio claimed the pay discrepancy was due to the fact that "the site is more top dominant."

"I don't give a fuck who are you to say that a bottom is worth less????" he wrote, before writing, "For @BlacksOnBoys if your wondering what my response is to working for you I think your [sic] smart enough to know that, it's going to be a big NO THANKS! I don't care that you even raised my fee up. It's just unjust you pay bottoms less and for that I decline working for you!"

ABC told ‘Batman’ actor Burt Ward to take pills to shrink penis

For baby boomers and classic TV fans, the name Burt Ward is instantly recognizable as the loyal and extremely excitable Robin on the campy “Batman” series which ran on ABC from 1966-1968. Just this week he happily unveiled a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame which he called an “amazing experience.”

The Caped Crusaders costumes were bright and tight-fitting to say the least, so snug that Ward incurred the wrath of the Catholic League of Decency.

Pete Davidson Berates University of Central Florida Audience: "You Should Fucking Grow Up"

Pete Davidson on Monday night berated an audience at the University of Central Florida after some people in the crowd took out their phones.

Davidson was captured on video lambasting the crowd for more than a minute, saying he would leave if they did not act accordingly.

"I don't have to be here," said the Saturday Night Live castmember at the tour stop. "I can just give them their money back because I don't give a fuck."

Saying UCF, in his opinion, is in the "middle of fucking nowhere," Davidson called the crowd "privileged little assholes," before making the situation even more uncomfortable.

Actress Faye Dunaway relentlessly berated her gay personal assistant on play “Tea at Five,” calling him “a little homosexual boy” before he was fired for complaining, a new lawsuit alleges.

Michael Rocha says in his Manhattan Supreme Court suit that he began working for the Broadway-bound production — from which Dunaway was eventually fired — on April 5 and was tasked with shopping, helping the actress take her meds, arranging her schedule and getting her to and from rehearsals.
