Batman: Caped Crusader (2024-) 
Serious recreation without inserting creative personality entertainment. Catwoman in a dress is just a drag queen with no sense. Madame Penguin felt gimmicky and in-comprehensive. It's a drastic change of character without a strong backstory to explain it. Couldn't she become The Hen? The Headless Horseman storyline was enough to make the Scoobies snicker. I thought Batman would be more realistic about it. Batman would never tolerate a fat Alfred wheezing into his ear pieces. They turned Harley Quinn into a deck of cards. The ones we never play with. There was not enough clay on Clayface. He's skin and bones and not squishy at all. It toes the line between realism and magic when all it needs is costumes, gadgets and genius. 04-Sep-2024
Colin loved Penelope like a brother and took passion out of romance. She should've courted Eloise, or at least, Genevieve. A lesbian wedding a must enjoyment. Polly Parker convicted herself as a single woman having to do it all. Two daughters are spoiled and the other lives on social media clouds. Polly turned a villain into a worthy victim and the daughters were hilarious. Cressida is a character for the ages. Madsen slipped into gregarious outfits and ate evil little bitch as a protein. She transforms into a man and returns as the beautiful black prince from the first season. The wife wont get fired. They can dedicate a season or two to exploring how she became. S3E5. The only bump I want to see is on Jonathan Bailey's bum. Colin did not eat Pen like a french pastry and she didn't knock the salt off his pretzel. S1E8. A woman wraps up the marriage contract when she can birth a good shank to serve the round table. Men like ideals in women's heads so that our explanations make sense to them. S1E2. Not necessarily the show I want to binge on after mother telling me my black is white but it's Shonda so I'll give it a go. The shock of seeing black empowered gentleman and ladies of the pre-Victorian era makes my brain explode with fact check assumptions. I don't because I want to accept it on its own merit. Most of the cast whistles, foams and pours whilst the rest couldn't get out of their modern heads. The business at hand is to score the most pristine and delicate virgin hopefully with fine manners (a "yes girl") to fulfill a man's dream of future family and success. A woman's power is to profit from the business, band and thwart any mismatch that might bring a daughter harm and make sons proud. Shonda adds her sight of man appreciation, Shondaspeare fast talk and on your knees intrigue. I remember Nicola Coughlan because I wanted to eat her like she ate that cake. She's delicious. They made sure that her empowerment was befitting to her surroundings and that she apply it. Boy, did she ever. Suffering makes a hero, conviction makes a fighter and death equals longevity. The series steers from controversial shenanigans and turns it into a comic book of male and female fantasies. Alessandro Borghi is Rocco as soon as the light hits him. The support did good work. A woman's point of view mattered. It stalls getting to Siffredi's porn king era. The gay friendship involved no free blowjobs or looksies. Really? The liberties taken grew gargantuan. Gus Van Sant's episodes were gliding and gripping. Naomi Watts had an emotional control that was lovely to watch. Diane Lane stole it like Joan Crawford in The Women. I'ver never seen her so alive. Watching Flockhart exercise her muscles was nostalgic. Demi did a lot with so little. Chloe Sevigny fit the part of the best friend that was only considered as such, only if she was doing them a favor. It's always a pleasure to see the legend but her role as Capote's mother should have been scrapped. The mother was an abusive monster. He wouldn't really consider her a best friend. Treat Williams acted like a dick and came off as one. Tom Hollander had a tight grip on the spiritual and physical persona of Capote. His performance was masterful. The ball went on for too long. The series repeated, stalled and stretched until the finale. The actors were stupendous, the ladies all beautiful and the setting, rich. The Baldwin episode was a preachy one with nothing to back it up. It inserts a black competitor in a part of history that didn't belong. The fun eeks out after the abused big boy child tries to chop all of the swans heads off for being like his mother. Women don't like that.

It chronicles Judy Garland's childhood. It requires that the child actor that's portraying her, be masterly to convey her but unfortunately the child sings like an angel but has no Garlandesque spirit. The story is historical, personal and respectfully private. Baby Judy was no child. Andrea McArdle was a phenom. The Annie song blaster had the same equipment but it was married to broadway whilst the legend screamed out the blues anywhere she could. It doesn't quite matter, when the lead is gifted with voice and likability. They repeated some songs to completion and that was frustrating but I loved hearing her voice. Piper Laurie was a queen mother. A deprived human on survival mode willing to do anything to eat. She only becomes extreme when the power shifts and Judy becomes the mother. The story is signed by a friend and it's an innocent adventure into young Judy's life. 28-Feb-2024
Actors can imitate, shadow or channel. The spirit of Griselda settled methodically into Sofia's lap and guided her. Sofia sent Sofia packing to become a woman with big ideas, deadly fallouts and constant misery. Sofia adds sexy beast to a woman who suffered for her imperfections. The woman who bested men used them for protection. The males were war and sex machines for the women who freed themselves from prostitution to commit worst crimes whilst using men as shields. The series served enough tension and thought-provoking arguments to whiz by without losing it's magic. Sofia was gangbang great. I never saw Sofia. I saw a 3D character. She stymied her accent and enunciated. She rocked fashion you can feel. She kicked ass like she's done it. Her attack dog was a beautiful thing and the support were menacingly good. A postwar generation that fought the enemy to insure that cell phones and toilet paper made it to the future. Respect for the law and its protection kept western towns reposed and progressive. Strangers would stop by with stories of city worlds, vast education and diversity. The contemptible came to cause a ruckus, crush everyone's dreams and takeover. Guns were a man's best friend because it was a contemptible's only friend. Death was also scientific in a world with very little of it. The rifleman assisted the Marshall by keeping people in line with threats, assistance, charm, height, beauty, and death. Death was an acceptable occurrence to be respected and expected. Even, the kids were savvy to it. You kill an animal for necessity, not sport. Death happens esp. in this town. Daddy longlegs was a widower, a rifle expert with a sweet boy whose devotion to daddy went beyond the screen. They heightened the father/son duo by being super. Connor was classic cowboy. The rifleman had gun skills, was a jean god, made money after every kill and was a fair man that allowed no one to fuck with his kid. They tell stories beyond the shooting. It had a contemporary mindset and there were plenty of useful life-lessons. Responsibilities of gun ownership included, when to point, shoot, run or put them down. 09-Nov-2023

Ozzie and Harriet (1952- 1966)
S1-8. There were no constant reruns of this classic for me to add it to my American history library but I heard it was corny and wholesome as fuck. Its claim to fame was family hierarchy, whining, beauty and pimping. As the parents' talents/fame wavered the prettiest twinks on television began to ascend. Rick was the teenage dream with dead eyes impersonating a musical talent. David's personality was pleasantly approachable and glistening. Ozzie was a grumpy Seinfeld who worried about everything and complained about nothing that mattered. In the beginning Ozzie had a buddy named Thorny. He lived next door but they never showed his family. I wouldn't want to be associated with that name either. Harriet's hair rarely moved but she had impeccable taste and versatility. She performed her chores like she lived them. She conveyed dismay with sarcasm, was not lovey dovey and enjoyed watching her husband suffer. The cast changes were inevitable and sometimes fun. It was nostalgic seeing some of Lucy's posse rippling for someone else. It's run lasted way longer because of the the adoration that horny teens lavished on pretty Ricky. The episode where I lost respect for Superman. Bruno one upped Clark's manhood by giving a million fucks for his dying wife while the Supe has technology that can save his but wont. S3E6. It wrung emotions that overwhelmed the mythology. It's a well liked family drama with hillbilly charm. Like an aunt. Superman has no concerns about Superboy except teaching him how to hide for safety. A teen with superpowers of mixed cosmic race has no sexual malfunctions, ever? The Kents just want to be part of the team (earth). The boring part. They finally gave Lois a good excuse to not put food in her mouth. Lana's invisible child is given an abandonment storyline so a Kent can inspire her quest to save the world in the future and because the writers couldn't write another male fucking thing. Why does someone always know where the missing kid might have gone? That rose faced lady bothers me. Erik Valdez is auditioning for Jimmy Oleson, undercover. Wow, he has massles. He's hyped as fuck. What an adorable prick. He's fucking the town crier and the person Lana and the kids are most likely to bump into and he doesn't give a shit. Out of respect, he should try finding his steady fucks out of town. Why didn't they shave Chad Coleman and make him Lex? Why does Clark act like he's getting fired at a button's notice? Dude, kill it. I know they're not as cute as those wolf fuckers but fuck that, go wild. Touch Lana's ex latin prick's ass and make them pop. Laser the buttons off the snitch's blouse as she sits by the prick and have Lana and the kids show up. If the Kents start wearing cowboy hats and line dancing we know the button has been pushed. What's ok for the Ewings on Dallas is off base for comic book heroes. We devoured the comic adventures because it allowed entry into a world where fantasy science could inspire the gifted to take on the fight, leave real life misery behind and take our imagination to justice. We watched Dallas because they were fun, conniving, evil, drunk, violent, cheating, thieving, dreaming and killing assholes, like our families without the luxury, class or survival skills. Jonathan didn't need to fashion a leather jacket and lace gloves to make us accept his coolness. A close up touch, a pre-alopecia treatment, a tattered t-shirt and some skinny jeans would have kept us onboard. Lois starves in both dimensions, Superman's crotch measures the same in every universe, Lana doesn't burst any bubbles in either, Lang's daughter pontificates lesbianism against a boy that fails in both dimensions. A mother aids a teen escaping from a restrictive family with juvenile religious beliefs. Yes, all families are cults. The child with satan's tattoo ingratiates herself to the modern family but overstays her unwelcome. Mother is the most decisively written character. The child becomes an obsession because it is like her. In pain, pretending everything is honkey dory with a dash of hope that the next best thing will save her but she's always fucked. Carrie is the series inspiration. It reminds you without embodying any of the traits that make the original great. Madeleine Arthur could not find the dorkiness in the character because she doesn't consider herself one. Elegant Creepmeister is what the character demanded. There was no significant difference between the before and after makeover except maybe a bath. The daughters wrought faithful feelings trying to decipher why mommy prefers to hang out with a freak. Naomi Tan was aware of everything and we feel her the most. I couldn't tell the love interest and gbf apart. I thought her love interest was gay throughout most of it. I'm a dork. The gay bestie was a letdown because he only cared about being friends if they didn't befriend others. That's not a friend, it's a husband. Sam Yaeger's daddy was interactive with audience imagination despite his thin storyline. We imagined that he was the kind of daddy that would fuck everything in his path including that old realtor and the cop. The cop took me back to Lost. Remember, the egyptian looking guy with the eyeliner? Yeah, I wanted to fuck him while studying his face. The cop investigation was weak and amateur but he sure was pretty. Penikett is a howl as a parent whose ignorant beliefs are jeopardizing the family but gettting him community clicks. His diction came very close to "wascally wabbit." I experienced it, like I did in childhood, watching Saturday Morning Cartoons for comfort, avoiding abuse and with eyes wide open. It's cheeky and fun with nothing in particular to say. For instance, wouldn't She-Hulk's vagina muscles crush a normal guy's dick or is it rubbery? Moments of pondering lost. Everything court is not "The Good Wife."
