Kids as young as eight are set to attend an overnight 'Art of Drag' weekend camp

The three-day, two-night workshop was organized by The Young Actors' Theatre Camp, and was billed as a safe place for campers to 'create their own drag personas.'

A recent, unspecified donation to the Santa Cruz theater group has also allowed them to offer a 'Pay What You Can' price point this weekend - meaning as many who want to attend the 'very special weekend camp' could have done so for free.

My Traumatizing Years With Bryan Singer

Stuerman met Singer in 2009 in New York City when he was 18 years old, and entered into a sexual relationship with him shortly after; Singer was 43. Their time together ended after Stuerman was fired as Singer’s assistant in June 2013 on the film “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” which opened the following year. Stuerman believes his relationship with Singer was abusive and traumatic. He says he was further traumatized by witnessing an incident in 2012 in which Singer allegedly assaulted someone.

Bachelorette parties are destroying LGBTQ safe spaces

White women in queer spaces, often seek a drunken night out without the worry of harassment and assault from heterosexual men.

These parties can generate lots of money for queer venues and drag queens. However, after conducting research in Provincetown, Massachusetts, the researchers found that these parties can also destroy queer safe spaces that LGBTQ communities have long sought to establish. The researchers call this process “hetrification.”

Paramedics Reportedly Called to JoJo Siwa’s Pridex Party for Guest’s Possible Overdose

According to E! Online, officers were called to Siwa’s Los Angeles home shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday when one of the guests began experiencing a medical emergency. A spokesperson for the L.A. Fire Department confirmed an unidentified 30-year-old man was transported to the hospital after he suffered a suspected overdose on LSD. The spokesperson could not provide details on the party-goers current condition but said no arrests were made in connection to the incident.

Young Americans Are Partying Hard and Spreading Covid-19 Quickly

Covid-19 is increasingly a disease of the young, with the message to stay home for the sake of older loved ones wearing off as the pandemic wears on.

The dropping age of the infected is becoming one of the most pressing problems for local officials, who continued Wednesday to set curfews and close places where the young gather. U.S. health experts say that they are more likely to be active and asymptomatic, providing a vast redoubt for the coronavirus that has killed almost 130,000 Americans.

In Arizona, half of all positive cases are people from the ages of 20 to 44, according to state data. The median age in Florida is 37, down from 65 in March. In Texas’s Hays County, people in their 20s make up 50% of the victims.

Kids and parents are freaking out over no-gift birthday parties

For her daughter’s first birthday party at a bright indoor playspace, Melanie Okadigwe asked guests to pass on the piles of presents.

“We just have a lot of stuff,” says the school learning specialist from Prospect Lefferts Gardens. Besides, her daughter Twyla, now 2, “wasn’t playing with a lot of toys” at that point, anyway.

Children’s birthday presents are joining chain restaurants, American cheese and diamond engagement rings on the growing list of millennial casualties. Space-starved moms and dads are saying “thank you, next” to physical gifts, requesting their guests make charitable donations, give money or simply offer nothing at all. These proud, party-pooper parents say it helps them cut down on clutter and keeps their kids grateful for the toys they do have.
