The military are all dicks so there is no one-upping each other. The banter is less typical and bad assery was disco (non-existent.) The thing had me desperate to see it and not disappointed that I did. The survival half contributed a lot to the action that followed. The bon bons were chocolatey and delicious. The players remain irresistible and the newbies matched them. It was nice to see Anthony but the actor playing him kept downplaying himself. A fairytale re-written by a fantasy show that applies reason to magic. Coincidences abound, romance was genuine, the support was better than mice, the chemistry was outstanding, production exquisite, writing was sharp and sentimental and wands aren't the only way to conjure magic. 09-Mar-2026
Jurassic World: Rebirth (2025) 
The human outline was "Aliens." Bailey seemed like a different person which is great for craft but not star watt. The reboot is tighter, the visuals are beautiful and the action was refreshing and tame. I felt like Mikey from the cereal commercials, "I really liked it" but don't ask me why. The only disappointment was not having dinosaurs shred Bailey's or Ali's clothes off. 02-Mar-2026

Logistics must be abandoned to enjoy it. It had Robocop qualities. There were robot tactics aplenty, mama drama and parental gullibility. The premise was cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs until it exploded. It's sweet but reserved. A man's life is explored by the people he touched and inspired him. The main facets of a person's life told out of order with much respect. Does the universe die with you when you go? The actors were easy to like and most eloquent. Hiddleston's time is short but he made the best of it. His dance was joyous, drummer girl rocked, the children were well taught, Hamill made it understood and Mia was glorious. It's Stephen King from the heart. 31-Dec-2025
It wasn't something I expected but am very pleased that it turned out that way. Patience begets understanding, information and the importance of acting as a whole instead of as an individual. I presumed that our leads gave a great performance in their native language but I chose dub and the acting was horrible, esp. the adorable child. It didn't matter because talking wasn't necessary. There are only so many words one can blurt out in an end of life scenario. It haunted, it accelerated and broke a few hearts. 23-Dec-2025

It was the most frightening yet. S1E7. The best way to honor culture is to be honest and inquisitive. I do not understand what It is, more than when I read the book as a child. It was a hefty book. I read on because a beast's rape of a boy sounded familiar to me. I was born to it. I think Bill betrayed his Pennywise character by acting like a kid pretending to be an adult as a human. It was a letdown. The culture clash is not storytelling but stoning. How is one group better than the other? I kept thinking, if we nixed the adult footage would it matter, more?

The babies don't step on cues and are willing to make their characters heart-born. I always resented Charlie Brown for cancelling adults but it should apply here. Every time the children were not present, the momentum faltered. The prequel suffers from grandiosity when it needed to be more intimate. It's how gradually works. It never starts better. Where were these military bastards in the future? I'm confused. Is anybody going to explain why dead boy proclaimed that It sleeps all day and feeds all night? I say, "then why is It terrorizing them during the day? Constantly!" The only acceptable answer is, "he was lying." If all doors to a fantasy are left open, it would create chaos. I suspend disbelief in order to enjoy the story but I can't tolerate the nonsensical. The prequel boggles the part of the imagination I would need to believe. TMI. 29-Nov-2025
Wake Up Dead Man: Knives Out (2025) 
Josh O'Connor was an Exorcist "Dimmy" dream. Josh Brolin was a Monsignor undie dropper. Jeremy Renner reached. Mila did well. Daddy Scott was still pinchable but backdoored. No one can light a room like Lady Close. Kerry explored and was successful. I laughed through most of it because it was funny, interesting and dynamic. Daddy superior still has issues with a hypocritical accent. I found a way. Have Super Daddy proclaim that he was faking it for legal reasons. The story was fun, the pace delightful and the performances were sublime. 13-Dec-2025
My first reaction was, come on, why are they always so nice? Then I realized they didn't enter the competition to beat their competitors but themselves. The challenges were grueling, athlete bodies were supe-worthy and togetherness was everywhere. The competitors enjoyed the spectacle as much as I did. 16-Nov-2025
It promises a lot that it doesn't deliver. It celebrates itself before we get a chance to absorb any of it. Beating Superman like a desperate housewife does not bring humanity to his persona and establishing himself as a victim of puny super abuse is not consistent with his mythology. Gunn did not utilize kryptonite because it limited action but embraced creating sun out of everything. It's a willing cast except for the Clarks. They were very hillbilly stupid. The big bad was existential with a personal vendetta and no superpowers to start a fight. The last half goes silly, corny and festive. Fillion's silver bowl hair distracted from his personality. It was also ugly. Mr. Terrific made most of his time by being cool whenever possible, Hawkgirl was miscast as a girl. She's a woman. A Gorilla Grodd would have introduced freshness to the tired and true. A drunk Supergirl was irresponsible and out of place. Does Clark also fuck Lois in the air? I thought that the human Pleakley was Jonathan Groff. After comparing butts I was less assured. Magnusson was great. My coordinates kept getting fucked up. The film succeeds with humanity, culture and respect. Animation and live art expand its universe. Is it Nani or Noni? Feisty gals is what gets the party going but I'd be satisfied with a Freaky Friday switch for season 2. Kristen Johnson is there to prop up the main, be superfluous and funny. We've seen this before by the same artist. It'd be nice to graduate from hate of everything to something. 13-Aug-2025
I tried reading the book of "Wicked" and found I couldn't latch on to an emotional core because it was too busy describing things. I remember a description of a clock that I couldn't imagine, irking me the most. I did not finish the book but I finished the movie. The movie played like an antsy child that won't sit. I wanted to admire all the technical work but it was too busy setting up the next song to have much impact. More dwarves, less songs equal better character development. I couldn't understand Elphaba's evil turn. I didn't know she was a PETA. Wouldn't Glinda be the sensitive one and a people pleaser? Why is she called good when she's so self absorbed? Erivo owns the part but is not given the opportunity to act. Her voice is great but I wanted more character depth. Grande impressed and scared the beejesus out of me when she delivered a Kristin Chenowith performance. Her mimicry was outstanding. It's cheerful, harmless and colorful but it's not Oz or Kansas. 06-Aug-2025
