#RIPJeremyRenner Trends As The Internet Tries To Cancel The MCU Star

Another day, another cancel campaign on Twitter. This Tuesday, #RIPJeremyRenner began trending on the social media platform, causing much alarm among MCU fans. Don’t take the trending topic literally, though, as the hashtag is actually being used by those who are calling for the Hawkeye star to be cancelled. Renner has a lot of infamous moments and troubling actions in his past and, for unknown reasons, the backlash against him has resurfaced again today.

‘The last straw’: the US families ending love affair with grocery chain after Capitol riot

Wendy Mize’s family grew up on Publix, disciples to the giant supermarket chain’s empirical marketing slogan: “Where shopping is a pleasure”. As infants, her three daughters wore diapers bought from the Publix baby club. As children, they munched on free cookies from the bakery. There were even perks for the family’s pets, who are proud members of Publix Paws.

But now the decades-long love affair is over. After a member of Publix’s founding family donated $300,000 to the Donald Trump rally that preceded January’s deadly Capitol riots, Mize is pulling out of what she says has become “an abusive, dysfunctional relationship”, and joining others in a boycott of the Florida-based grocery chain that operates more than 1,200 stores across seven south-eastern states.

Lucille Ball's daughter Lucie Arnaz defends Nicole Kidman's casting as comedy icon... after Debra Messing plugged herself for the part instead

Lucie noted that the public was 'enthusiastically commenting on the choice of casting that was not exactly announced, but sort of leaked the other day through the press. And you know, it’s a done deal but the contracts aren’t actually signed, which is why I haven’t said anything publicly about it.'

She laughed and added: 'But I felt I should just at least try to calm the waters here. There seems to be a lot of discussion about Nicole Kidman."“It should be Debra Messing!" “It should be Carole Cook!" I don’t know.'

She stated: 'It’s the story of Lucille Ball, my actual mother, not Lucy Ricardo, and her husband Desi Arnaz, my dad, not Ricky Ricardo. There will be humor in the film but it is a story of the two of them, and how they met, and what went right with finding the show, what went wrong – their relationship, their love affair.'

'Unlike the black community, the Latino community is incredibly diverse': Biden puts his foot in it AGAIN as Trump jumps on 'dumb' remark and claims 'Biden just lost the entire African American community'

National Public Radio's Lulu Garcia-Navarro asked Biden if he would stop Cubans from being deported if he became president. It sent Biden into a confusing comment about race in America.

'And by the way, what you all know, but most people don't know, unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community, with incredibly different attitudes about different things,' Biden said, receiving a slew of backlash for his wording.

James Corden Gets Slammed Online After Rumors Surface Of Him Replacing Ellen DeGeneres

With Ellen DeGeneres' future on TV hanging in the balance -- even though her team swears she's returning -- rumors have already begun to circulate about who may be the next star in line to take over the daytime throne. Those rumors have fallen at the doorstep of "The Late Late Show" host James Corden, but as many believed the singing host to be one of the nicest people in Hollywood, others are now claiming Corden is not as nice as he appears on TV.

The reports first surfaced through UK outlet, The Sun, who claims 41-year-old Corden has been thought of as the "long term successor" by network executives before Ellen's scandal went public.

"Y'all know people in the UK absolutely LOATHE James Corden, right?" one fan wrote on Twitter.

They added, "There are so many stories about that dude, it would make your head spin. All the shit you've heard/read about Ellen, apply it to James. Seriously."

One Million Moms prove they are comprised of exactly zero mothers as they spend pandemic raging over gay cartoon ducks

One Million Moms have decided that the middle of a global pandemic is the right time to try and launch a boycott of Disney because of two minor gay characters in a DuckTales cartoon.

With schools shut down due to the pandemic, the online streaming service Disney Plus has become an invaluable tool for parents everywhere trying to keep their kids occupied.

But it’s apparently not so vital for One Million Moms, a front for the anti-LGBT+ fundamentalist lobbying group American Family Association, which despite its name has just 4,787 mostly-male Twitter followers.

Bars near one Florida university are giving women a secret way to alert bartenders if they feel unsafe on a date

College students who find themselves out on a date gone wrong at bars in southeastern Florida may be able to turn to the bartender for help.

Posters hanging in the restrooms of about a dozen bars and restaurants in Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Jupiter give instructions to women about alerting bartenders if they're in danger or uncomfortable.

First, order a drink called the "Owl Shot." Then, depending on what's happening, say one of the three coded phrases displayed on the posters. Based on the code, here's how the bartenders will respond:

'Neat': Bar staff will escort you to your car

'On the rocks': Bar staff will call a ride for you

'With lime': Bar staff will call the police

Polish court says campaign that linked homosexuality and paedophilia was “informative”

A Polish court has ruled in favour of a campaign that linked homosexuality and paedophilia, claiming it was “informative” and that it raised awareness.

Polish lawyer, Bartlomiej Ciazynski, filed a suit against the Polish non-governmental organisation, Fundacja Pro, after they launched the homophobic campaign.

The group’s campaign featured people driving around in vans with the banner “Paedophilia is 20 times more common in homosexuals. They want to teach your children. Stop them!”

Ciazynski said the campaign “insulted, slandered and violated the dignity” of the LGBTQ community, but Judge Adam Macinski, a district judge in Wroclaw disagreed.

In his ruling, he said the campaign “should be considered as having an informative and social dimension” saying it highlighted the issue of paedophilia.
