YouPorn Offers $100,000 to Build Gloryholes in Canada

While porn sites have been seeing some crazy spikes in usage, many socially-distanced adults have been looking for more tactile solutions. This has led to some places like New York and others to release guidelines on having sex while quarantined. They've suggested masturbation, or only connecting with people you're only quarantined with. Then last month New York went so far as to suggest incorporating masks or barriers into acts. And while we could read between the lines, the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control in Canada, told citizens, in no uncertain terms, to consider glory holes.

“Sex can be very important for mental, social, and physical well-being,” they wrote in their guidelines. “Use barriers, like walls (eg, glory holes), that allow for sexual contact but prevent close face-to-face contact.” Sounds more like a return to an old world order than new, no?

Democrat makes grovelling apology after claiming Lucifer gives gay people ‘unnatural lusts’ in relentless homophobic rant

Chester is aiming to unseat incumbent congress member Al Lawson in the 18 August primary, according to Florida Politics.

After backlash bubbled against him over the homophobic tweets, he issued a lengthy apology in a Twitter statemente posted Thursday (30 July), where he stressed: “My past is not an indication of who I am today.”

He lampooned Obama for swinging his support to the community, saying that “this country has faaaaaar more important things to worry about than people ‘coming out of the closet’.”

“Wow, Satan is busy! Christians, let’s strap up for battle.”

Bottom line what in the hell do you expect to receive for announcing that you’re a man who likes men,” Chester said.

Ellen DeGeneres Addresses Workplace Allegations and Changes Forthcoming in Staff Letter (Exclusive)

With the culture at her eponymous talk show under fire, Ellen DeGeneres is speaking out.

In a letter to her crew, obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, DeGeneres addresses the alleged workplace misconduct, which was detailed in a Buzzfeed story published earlier this month. The widely circulated piece includes a host of former employees' anonymous accusations of racism, intimidation, unjust termination and an overall toxic work culture, perpetuated by the show's top producers. The report prompted an in-house investigation by Telepictures parent WarnerMedia, which is said to now be largely complete.

In her note, DeGeneres takes responsibility, insofar as the show bears her name, and insists that steps will be taken to "correct the issues" going forward. "As we've grown exponentially, I've not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I'd want them done. Clearly some didn't,” she writes. "That will now change and I'm committed to ensuring this does not happen again."

Wiley: Anti-Semitism row prompts 48-hour Twitter boycott

A 48-hour boycott of Twitter by some of its users, protesting at the platform's alleged lack of action on anti-Semitism has begun.

It was triggered by the actions of grime music artist Wiley, who shared several posts on Twitter on Friday.

Some of the tweets were deleted, but Twitter was criticised for taking time to act and leaving some tweets up.

The Prime Minister's official spokesman has said Boris Johnson believes "Twitter needs to do better".

The offending messages "should not have been able to remain on Twitter and Instagram for so long", he added, and "social media companies need to go further and faster to remove content like this".

John Oliver Wants CNN to Stop Being Such ‘Fucking Prudes’ About Everything

The coronavirus took the week off from infecting John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight monologues, with the host instead focusing on how a certain cable news network has been covering the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests: CNN and, in his opinion, not well. Not OAN levels of bad, but still … meh. Discussing how a Navy veteran was beaten and showered in pepper spray by federal agents in Portland last week, Oliver mocked CNN’s decision to show the entirety of the unprovoked violence, but chose to blur the man’s middle fingers when he flashed them to the agents in the aftermath. “That is intense and, frankly, says so much about this country right now,” he explained. “CNN will show federal agents treating a human being like a piñata and censor the same man for rightfully telling those agents to fuck the fuck off. Look, we’re already witnessing the rapid decline of American civil liberties here... (incomplete)

Beware Those Who Would Reduce America's Multicolor Landscape to Black and White / Opinion

It's easy to shrug off the story of the city of Seattle's efforts last month to address racism as just another quirky anomaly in these unsettled times.

But Americans do so at our peril.

The City's Office of Civil Rights gathered white employees for a mandatory session entitled "Interrupting Internalized Racial Superiority and Whiteness." A researcher who reviewed the curriculum noted that the instructor taught that all "white people have internalized a sense of racial superiority, which has made them unable to access their [own] 'humanity' and [has] caused 'harm and violence' to people of color."

"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character," so said Rev. King.

That's so 20th century.

Being born white is the woke generation's original sin. The list of demands to get out of white, racist purgatory are quite daunting:

Forget truth. It doesn't count; feelings do.

A person's personal dreams must make way for groupthink.

History must be erased to be replaced by authentic socialists like Karl Marx.

Collective memory must take a knee to intersectionality—connecting dots by fiat not fact.

Traditional morality—a racist vestige best forgotten by the old and then unlearned by the young.

Police? Defund them.

Law and order— a vicious concept leveraged to enslave people of color

America Is on Track for a Million Coronavirus Cases a Day, and at Least 800,000 Deaths, by the End of 2020

If someone had suggested five months ago that we would be seeing more than 3 million cases and 135,000 COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. by mid-July, I wouldn’t have believed it.

But now it’s distinctly possible that, five months from now, half of all Americans could have been infected with SARS-CoV-2, and more than 800,000 Americans may die in this extraordinary outbreak. That is what many of our most prominent public-health experts now expect.

Karen Is Being Used by White Women — Here's Why They Need to Stop

By definition, the archetypal Karen is a white woman who views non-whiteness as a threat and is prone to calling the authorities on people of color. (e.g., Amy Cooper, the New York woman become synonymous with white women weaponizing their privilege to impart harm on Black people; or Alison Ettel, aka #PermitPatty, who called the cops on a Black child selling water.) The modern Karen feels entitled to policing people of color, though she may not view herself as problematic — Cooper, notably, was reportedly a liberal. Although white women are often impacted by patriarchy, Karen has no understanding of how she herself upholds oppression, weaponizing it as she uses her whiteness as a tool to punish others.

It’s in rebuttals to the popularization of “Karen” that’s especially instructive in revealing the ways white women using the term are bitterly ironic. The other angle to this conversation is how the term “Karen” has been argued by some to be a manifestation of the patriarchy and entirely anti-woman. British journalist Hadley Freeman argued that Karen is “mired in sexism,” since there's no equivalent nickname for racist white men. Another journalist, Julie Bindel, described “Karen” as a “woman-hating slur.” In the ensuing discourse, an uncomfortable trend arose in which white women use progressive language to shield themselves from accountability.

How Jewish Twitter users and celebrities took down a virtual anti-Semitic mob

When I saw “#JewishPrivilege” was trending on Twitter last week, I cringed. Whenever something on a Jewish topic trends, a swarm of anti-Semites surely abound. This time was no exception: White nationalists had created the hashtag to spread anti-Semitic conspiracies about Jews being “privileged” — that we control the media, the banks and the world.

Jews from the Middle East like myself will never be able to assimilate into the white majority.

Leftist voices soon joined in, perhaps because the hashtag had co-opted the term of “white privilege” that is used in the social justice movement. Seemingly progressive Twitter users soon piled on with false claims that Jews don’t face any discrimination, while also suggesting they are responsible for the discrimination and other ills many minorities face.

While I’ve seen countless ignorant ideas spread on Twitter, #JewishPrivilege uniquely terrified me. Unlike the random pockets of online hate speech that I’m used to, this felt like an organized attack — as if everyone, from left to right, was in agreement that Jewish people are to be blamed for all that is wrong in the world.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: Where Is the Outrage Over Anti-Semitism in Sports and Hollywood?

Recent incidents of anti-Semitic tweets and posts from sports and entertainment celebrities are a very troubling omen for the future of the Black Lives Matter movement, but so too is the shocking lack of massive indignation. Given the New Woke-fulness in Hollywood and the sports world, we expected more passionate public outrage. What we got was a shrug of meh-rage.

When reading the dark squishy entrails of popular culture, meh-rage in the face of sustained prejudice is an indisputable sign of the coming Apatholypse: apathy to all forms of social justice. After all, if it’s OK to discriminate against one group of people by hauling out cultural stereotypes without much pushback, it must be OK to do the same to others. Illogic begets illogic.

Ice Cube’s June 10 daylong series of tweets, which involved some creepy symbols and images, in general implied that Jews were responsible for the oppression of blacks. NFL player DeSean Jackson tweeted out several anti-Semitic messages, including a quote he incorrectly thought was from Hitler (not your go-to guy for why-can’t-we-all-get-along quotes) stating that Jews had a plan to “extort America” and achieve “world domination.” Isn’t that SPECTRE’s job in James Bond movies?

'Humans need it': Will a lack of sex force players to break the NBA's bubble?

The need to limit contact to minimise the risks of spreading the virus is obvious, but one prominent pundit questioned whether libidinous players will adhere to the rules. “Do we really think that the ‘recreational activities’, what these guys are accustomed to, are going to be compromised for three months?” Stephen A Smith thundered on ESPN.

“You really think that people are going to be without their wives or their woman?” he added. “Forget three months – they’re going to struggle with three weeks… I’m telling you, they’re going to violate the bubble.” Many players would have preferred to be sequestered in Las Vegas rather than Disney World, he added, given Sin City’s more adult-oriented panoply of diversions.

However logical and necessary given the situation, stowing players in a tightly-regimented exclusion zone for months feels like taking the control that teams often try to exercise over extracurricular activities to a dystopian extreme.

VIDEO: Black conservative activist rips 'cultural Marxism' of Black Lives Matter rioters who violently invade restaurant right in front of him

A black conservative activist took video of a violent Black Lives Matter demonstration at a Dallas restaurant where he was eating with friends over the weekend and narrated the scene as it unfolded into violence — to the point where he said police arrived and deployed tear gas and pepper spray.

As the demonstrators chanted and cursed, Felder noted families seated with young children who were enduring the torrent of verbal abuse and profanity.

"They're out here right now trying to act a fool," he said of the demonstrators who soon began advancing on the tables and the restaurant staff and throwing objects and shoving those in their way.

"Here it is, see?" Felder observed. "They create the unrest, and then they get upset when someone actually speaks up for themselves. That's the problem."

Hailey Baldwin's Response To Accusations She's Rude To Waiters Was Apologetic

Hailey Baldwin is speaking out after stumbling upon a TikTok video about herself. When one fan posted a TikTok on July 12 rating the niceness of celebrities she's met working in the fine dining industry, she probably didn't expect it to go viral. That's just what happened, though, and Mrs. Bieber herself responded to the video, which held some harsh criticism. Hailey Baldwin's response to accusations she's rude to waiters seems sincere.

NBA players are already snitching on Disney bubble violators

The NBA’s “snitch hotline” is apparently blowing up.

As part of a 113-page memo, the NBA set up an anonymous hotline for players to report peers they suspect are breaking the rules.

Multiple tips have already been submitted to the hotline, according to The Athletic, to report potential protocol violations. The NBA is attempting to uphold a bubble-like atmosphere in Orlando, Fla. in order to resume its season later this month.

The tips have already irked some around the league. Clippers guard Lou Williams posted a rat emoji on twitter. In an interview with Bleacher Report, Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie — who is sitting out the restart after testing positive for coronavirus — announced “To all my fellow NBA players, don’t call the snitch hotline.”
