New Study Finds Yet Another Health Benefit Of The COVID Vaccine

Getting the coronavirus vaccine provides one obvious and significant health benefit: It protects you from getting seriously sick or dying if you come into contact with the virus.

That, in itself, is amazing. But new research published on Wednesday points to another striking benefit of rolling up your sleeves that should not be dismissed: People who get vaccinated may experience significant improvements...

Renowned epidemiologist says the world 'is closer to the beginning than the end' of the pandemic and warns Indian 'Delta' Covid variant is 'maybe the most contagious virus' ever

A renowned epidemiologist says the coronavirus pandemic is far from over due to not enough vaccines being available for every country.

Dr Larry Brilliant, who was a medical officer in the World Health Organization's (WHO) smallpox eradication program, says not enough people around the globe have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

He told CNBC's Street Signs that only 15 percent of people in the world have been immunized with some countries not even inoculating five percent of residents.

Brilliant also addressed the spread of the Indian 'Delta' variant and sad it was the most infectious he had ever seen in his career.

Florida will PAY parents to move their kids to private schools if they're 'bullied' for not wearing face masks

Florida officials have promised to pay for parents to move their children to private schools if they are 'bullied' for not wearing face masks in schools.

The Florida Department of Education approved an emergency rule Friday to hand out private school vouchers to any parent wanting to take their children out of public schools that have enforced mask mandates.

Such vouchers, offered through the Hope Scholarship, are usually used to move children from schools where they are the victims of bullying.

Even Thanksgiving is canceled! New Jersey school district yanks ALL holiday names off the calendar to avoid 'hurt feelings'

A New Jersey school board has scrapped the names of all holidays from its calender to avoid 'hurt feelings' after backlash over renaming Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples Day.

Randolph Board of Education members unanimously voted to remove all holiday names off of the school calendar, including religious holidays such as Yom Kippur and Christmas, at a meeting that drew over 100 people on Thursday.

School lunch company produced juice with high levels of arsenic and toxins: report

A company that supplied a federal school lunch program sold juice with high levels of arsenic and used rotten fruit in their product, the FDA charged in a new lawsuit, according to a report.

In the suit, which was filed in federal court in Washington state against the company Valley Processing, food safety inspectors said they found high levels of arsenic in 17 batches of apple juice and two batches of pear juice during a 2019 inspection, The New York Times reported.

Investigators also found high levels of a toxin produced by rotting or moldy apples and pears in the company’s juice, according to the report.

Is it a red flag that the teacher I’m dating has classroom sexual fantasies?

Dear How to Do It,

Given the extended period of physical distancing we’ve been experiencing, I have begun to explore online dating. Particularly, I have been looking for someone who both shares my sexual interests and is a good human being overall for the possibility of a long(er)-term relationship.

While I feel like I might have found this person recently, the fact that they are a high school teacher and have a strong interest in role-playing student-teacher and my own dating history make me wonder if this kink is a healthy outlet for someone in their position or a foreshadowing or indicator of something more sinister. While I do not want to rule out someone for “pre-crime” or “thought crime,” I also want to make sure that our sexual liaisons do not in any way contribute to their venturing (or furthering) into unethical and destructive—not to mention illegal—territory. Given your professional experience and your access to experts, I am eager to hear your input on my situation.

'Live footage of being a woman in STEM': College student leaves TikTok outraged after recording her male classmates repeatedly interrupting her and ignoring her during a Zoom call

A college student has gone viral after sharing a TikTok of her male classmates repeatedly interrupting her, explaining that it is 'live footage of being a woman in STEM.'

Claire McDonnell, 22, is one of four women among almost 60 men in a graduate science and finance program at the University of Iowa,' according to BuzzFeed News. She told the publication that her video is just one example of the sexism that women face in the department as well as the male-dominated field as a whole.

'This happens on a daily basis,' she said. 'There would be an assignment we [the other women in the program] would help other classmates with, and they would take credit for it.'

Sex education has been updated for the modern world — from sexting and pornography to gender identity

For the first time since 2000, the official guidance on relationships and sex education (RSE) in England is changing. From this month, RSE is mandatory in every secondary school, regardless of whether they are state or private (though the Government has said it will make allowances for schools as yet unable to implement the change because of the coronavirus crisis).

Relationships education – which is now compulsory in every primary school – will mainly deal with families and friendships. It will cover the risks of online relationships, digital privacy, physical boundaries and recognising abusive behaviour.

But will the new guidance protect and empower young people for sex and relationships in a modern world?“The curriculum puts the physical health and emotional wellbeing of young people at its core,” Chiquita Henson, headteacher of Cirencester Deer Park School, a secondary school in Gloucestershire, tells i.

I welcome and respect sex education but will its reach push it forward or away? Are we going to spin tales of delusions and what ofs? Are mom and dad going to be involved? It's part of their job too.

RED ALERT:

1. Pedos of the future are lining up to talk to your kids about relationships and sex as we speak.
2. Will there be show & tell?
3. "Show me," will become popular amongst the teachers in the gym and the showers.
4. Are we going to crack youngling egg-shell brain and discuss cheating? That they will wolf, wander, get bitten and devoured often?
5. Do we tell boys with small penises they need to learn to bottom? There are no preferences in the future. All sex is transformative and a unit for the cause.
6. Jealousy. Clench baby clench.
7. Mothers. Stop making candy for pedos. No candy, no eating, no pedos.

College Made Them Feel Equal. The Virus Exposed How Unequal Their Lives Are.

The political science class was called “Forced Migration and Refugees.” Students read accounts of migrants fleeing broken economies and seeking better futures, of life plans drastically altered and the political forces that made it all seem necessary.

Then suddenly, the subject matter became personal: Haverford College shut down and evicted most students from the dormitories as the coronavirus spread through Pennsylvania.

Like many college courses around the country, the class soldiered on. The syllabus was revised. The students reconvened on a videoconferencing app.

But as each logged in, not everyone’s new reality looked the same.

One student sat at a vacation home on the coast of Maine. Another struggled to keep her mother’s Puerto Rican food truck running while meat vanished from Florida grocery shelves. As one young woman’s father, a private equity executive, urged the family to decamp to a country where infections were falling, another student’s mother in Russia couldn’t afford the plane ticket to bring her daughter home.
