Shahs of Sunset (2012-)
I only watch sporadically because they are overly complicated and spoiled. I'm watching this season out of boredom. It is interesting to note that they've handled the "me too" moment with little awareness of what it means and a heaping amount of prejudice. The problem with "me too" is that if you're liked or needed they ("family) can make it go away. Just gang pounce on the other side without giving it one moment's consideration. 04-Mar-2020
Unsettling, The (2019-)
It does not unsettle because there is no intrigue, sharp scare edits or anything besides Holly Taylor to give a damn about. 13-Jan-2020
Midnight Kiss (2019)
Gays garnering the right to be slaughtered on film like they're straight brethren. Writing representation is limited to watching half a season of Drag Race, the eye candy is squirmy and the serial getup has no sex appeal or fright. 27-Dec-2019
Carol's Second Act (2019-)
It has a problem growing up. 08-Nov-2019
Why is Patricia Heaton acting like she switched bodies with her teen granddaughter? 27-Sep-2019
A film practice run. It's hard to gear up for characters minutely defined especially when they easily accept transcendent ideas. We need insight to understand their choices. Debrianna Mansini casts a lustrous presence that established "no other dead need apply" and Theo Rossi squished craftily. 28-Oct-2019
Man doesn't become until his woman nags him into it. There are two options to the mystery that are obviously dangled throughout the film's course. They are both marred by unnecessary glances that give away the plot, slight dialogue and perplexing demonstrations. Even when he's awkward, Worthington manages to remain squishy. 12-Oct-2019
Prodigal Son (2019-)
I wanted to like it but it's too lenient and cute. I wish them luck. 25-Sep-2019
