Monsters: Menendez Brothers (2024)
The end road was chock full of accomplished performances. Mr. Lane tapped into heartache and regret and transmitted it to the audience. It was sheer strength. Leslie Grossman found a character that matched her skills like a glove. She was fun. Chavez built as his character progressed. A little askew, unsure but learning. The "cry" bit was genius. Koch appeared wallflowered but eager to surprise. He wore those glasses like Joan Crawford would, with confidence. A very capable group of actors. A hurricane of thoughts strikes briefly to annihilate jury members' votes. It was compelling. I didn't recognize her but there was something about the voice, legend and talent that felt like home. When I realized it was Ms. Lawrence I applauded. The final flashback back-pedaled all the emotions and perceptions that transpired. My vote didn't matter because they figured it out for us. The idea that the parents were blameless because their crimes were invisible does not free them of guilt, sin or karma. The only fact I'm sure about is that the eggs wouldn't have cracked if the parents hadn't laid them. 26-Sep-2024
S1E6. Art no longer belongs to the creator once someone else experiences it. It evolves, balloons then remains stagnant. The brothers are handsome and well-cast. The constant affection between them signified an unbreakable bond. Paying attention is necessary to reap the benefits of arcs and surprises. Sevigny is so accurate in her portrayal that she becomes as lost in the story as the real mother did in life. Good work. Javier is a beautiful monster that masters gut wrench and authority. Episode 6 was, so far, the best. The sex, abuse, the heritage, the privilege and mental enslavement were given honest and heartfelt consideration. It was the first time in a long time that I felt akin to characters that represented me. (It's not always about color, most of the time it's about shared experiences.) Brilliant direction and colorful words added to the episode's crescendo. 25-Sep-2024
AHS: NYC (2022)
It stayed true to tradition and didn't end with a bang because they yucked it up with mumbo jumbo. Ryan and Co. are gone, lets' show them what we can do. Everything except reigning it in. Add a little magic over here, irony over there and a preach or two around the corner. Charlie Carver's observations as a writer allowed him to present real gay dilemmas. That's a great contribution. The ladies brought depth, strength and full watt. The Brian De Palma glow, was class. Art shouldn't have to explain itself, though. It just is. 04-Dec-2022
Ryan & Co. serve enough gay meat to feed a Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The stories intertwine nicely. Gay is not what it's cracked up to be. We live life waiting for our perversions to be rewarded. It never happens. I have to disagree with the politically correct's hate towards cops. In my day there were good cops and bad cops, like Jedis. A lot of the time, the good cop was gay. I am thankful for that. You almost want to look away every time that smart begins a story because a shitty end awaits it. Russell Tovey peaks our interest with egg-shaped ears, ass encapsulation and making it overwhelmingly and illegitimately hard to listen to a foreign accent without cumming. Zachary Quinto is wolfy and orgasmic. Charlie Carver epitomizes an innocent victim. Joe Mantello is the kind of daddy you want to breathe a moment of life into. Isaac Cole Powell is a body you can only dream about. I know they are going to fuck it up but I'm going to relax and enjoy the ride. 25-Oct-2022
Ex On The Beach (2014-)
It's uncomfortable watching gay boys creeping on girls. A woman has no safety zones. We end up feeling sorry for her and hating him. My generation was very proud of its identification and it's preference. We had an unwritten contract. The point of being gay was to retire vagina. This generation confuses itself. It confuses me. It confuses everybody. 17-May-2022
S5E2. Love means having to say you're sorry, a lot. The only thing holding a black woman down is her cheating membrane of a boyfriend. Are ragers who splash people with drinkable liquids pool owners? This asshole wants to know. Bisexuals proved synonymous with hypocrisy. A gay preference disguised as an accident is no reason to fuck up a trans life. Trans needs a do over. We've already established that wet dog dos are out. A man pretending to be more than a bisexual is a pervert who fucks little children. 10-Apr-2022
S4E12. The only people stopping gays from advancing is other gays. Imagine if other gays didn't exist. How happy we'd all be. Adore's ex compared her smell to a llama. I was supposed to insert an inappropriate joke but since I'm not officially a comedian, I looked it up to be sure. They have no odor and you can make beans out of their poop. They're always lying down and won't crap in bed or on the bus. Ok. Why does the ex have the smell of a llama memorized? Does he fuck them? What a day old bagel. The mini bagel had a Superman ex try to sweep her off her feet and away from Joker except all she saw was Two-Face. Half of his face was gorgeous. The everything bagel got fucked when his bagel fell on the floor for more than five-seconds and three people tried to eat it. Just for fun, the lesbian is a toasted bagel with lox and extra cheese. 09-Apr-2022
S4E10. Wow, the guy with the fake piano teeth made it. How can you resist the "I'm going to break your heart and fuck your pussy" swag? The cis man considers LGBTQ the handmaidens of sex. Promise the alpha good sex and he'll treat you like a handmaiden. Is the lesbian legal? The black "everything bagel" jock will be exposing his dick like a trophy to babies in a future verse. If we're going to teach sex ed in schools we should commence with a speech on how everybody is going to cheat on your fucking ass because you will probably suck at sex or snore. 08-Apr-2022
S4E1. Chronicling the lives of loser exes on a frozen beach. The producers found men that would risk their straight asses for love. Transvestites, drag queens and lesbians unite. The lesbian is granted male toxicity status because her big dick is plastic. A white man got all Will Smith when he noticed his black compatriot with a piano keys mouth. He is going to slap the fakeness out of them. 06-Apr-2022
Married With Children (1987-1997)
I never realized how much female input there was in scouring the marriage of an alpha fucker and our mothers. 15-Apr-2021
Hamilton (2020)
Was Hamilton aware he was great? This is the fine food you throw up when you overindulge and never want to eat again. I spent most of the time being old and looking at crotches. I actually caught a few silhouettes. Whatever planet I'm from, please beam me up. I really wanted to like it. 22-Jan-2021
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (1973)
The old fossil envisioned the future better than Sci-fi movies could. Lesbian (Peppermint Patty) imposes herself on sex confused Charlie Brown for Thanksgiving. Even though the underdog (CB) has plans with grandma he doesn't want to disappoint his friends and so with a little help from his cohorts, he concocts a non-traditional dinner. Linus is Anderson Cooper quoting the bible and mythological news with acid humor. Lucy is my sister. Marcie is waiting for Peppermint Patty to ask her out and cut the CB crap. Sally is my angel. Snoopy is the perverted relative or friend that would perform out of this world feats and lick your kids' faces during commercials. The bird was his underaged twink. Ok, I don't like Snoopy. He always took the reality out of the lesson and fuck him for hiding that turkey. Franklin was invited, sat at the table and was gender-identified. It was progress. You get to sit at the table. Good for you. Don't waste it. The lessons were sweet and the babies are classic. Good memories cause us no harm. 26-Nov-2020
Haunting of Bly Manner (2020-)
It takes us to the same places so many times that we can figure out its outcome. I wondered if surprises would have popped more often if told in sequence. I understand that black women don't want to be maids but the commitment level for a realistic character needs to make sense. You don't wear designer clothing to clean a mansion. The mop was taken away from the maid and passed to a child and the vacuum didn't really stay on. How the fuck did she clean a mansion all by herself? Very good performances keep it chugging but the art hits the wrong part of the brain. The lesbians finally have their "Titanic." Hooray! 17-Oct-2020
S1E2. The premise is hauntingly decadent. The bullshit has been cast aside to allow the mystery to breathe. Victoria Pedretti as the caretaker of cuties doesn't stifle, always persists and treats the children to a fantasy world of security. The babies are made of sunshine overexposure and creepin' fuckery. T'Nia Miller's character is, so far, underwritten but her soliloquies are ardent. Henry Thomas is putting his superior experience to use. Before I realized it was him I thought it was Colin Firth. Good job, my boy. As soon as Miss Gugino enchanted a wedding party into partaking in a nine hour drunken haunted folk story, she had the upper hand. She slithers her words to make women uncomfortable and make men wet. It's not as complicated as the other one made itself and I trust it. 12-Oct-2020
Ramy (2019-)
Allah looks away when a buddy relieves another of sexual frustration. Ramy is comic bullshit revolver. 04-Aug-2020
If worshipping a peaceful philosophy turns followers into demented and confused sex maniacs maybe the parents are right. It's better to forget it.
Sister showcased in an episode dealing with how cultural history can cure an unhealthy fact with witchcraft.
Mama pulled the brakes on her episode to bring attention to how we punish the people we fight for. The pressure for them to understand us negates who they are. They don't know us. Mama brought the hope, the wreck and the smarts. 02-Aug-2020
Moving your heritage forward when the rigidity of spiritual devoutness devours the best gifts in life. It respects as much as it questions, it upsets as much you care. The laughs are far to come but land uproariously. It paints the truth and enforces it. 07-Jan-2020
Bad Education (2020)
The face of the righteous has a melting soul.
Hugh is big daddy, fulfilling a demanding feat. He teases us with his nice boy swag, making us feel comfortable, ripping layers and gnawing at his mentality. He floors like a man realizing his obsession is a sick heart aching for love of any kind.
Janney's gift is to steal acts, to be good or to be great. She is all.
Ray Romano is the grand daddy of kvetch, owning it with common sense and delivering it like a real person.
Geraldine Viswanathan displayed the smarts and determination the character needed.
The support was a menage of cultural brilliance.
Awkward, tricky and... bam!
(Society builds too much pressure in people.)

Shahs of Sunset (2012-)
I only watch sporadically because they are overly complicated and spoiled. I'm watching this season out of boredom. It is interesting to note that they've handled the "me too" moment with little awareness of what it means and a heaping amount of prejudice. The problem with "me too" is that if you're liked or needed they ("family) can make it go away. Just gang pounce on the other side without giving it one moment's consideration. 04-Mar-2020
Go Ask Alice (1973)
Diary of a teen with an addictive personality. It is nice to hear the words of tragedy being spoken by tragic and even though it enlightens, it doesn't resolve. Addictions occur the moment you can't latch on to life. It provides good details on soft parenting, physical instability, sex and pressure. The film bestows as many blessings as calamities. Griffith gives good priest, Mackenzie Phillips haunted and the Shat(ner) tries to steal the film with his blinkers. 24-Feb-2020
October Faction (2020-)
"The Americans" in the Buffyverse with its own ideas.
Twins united is a powerful concoction. He's gay with no tolerance for sweetness and of suppressed privilege. She questions why her life doesn't fulfill her essence. They both do everything to upset their parents. Their awakening untangles excitedly.
Family history keeps the mythology pressing on.
Daddy has a gun, grandma has a gun, they all have a gun but no one grips it like mama.
The show handles its business like a bullet - straight through - no bullshit - not for squeaky screamers.
"Big Bad" seems to be representing.
There are a variety of monsters, entanglements and enlightenments. A vast world to enjoy and explore. 29-Jan-2020
Watchmen (2019-)
The catastrophe of Lost has been redeemed.
Blue is a gorgeous color.
Only Jeremy Irons could snugly fit that suit or that character.
Tim Blake Nelson is trailer park satisfaction.
The greatest thing James Wolk did was strip. His accent almost cut me, it was so sharp.
Lady Trieu was grunge girl effervescence.
It completed, catapulted, respected and reinvented. Brilliant!
15-Dec-2019
I'm excited and afraid. 09-Dec-2019
Acquiring empathy for a dad you hate by reliving his memories was invigorating. (Don't fuck it up!) 03-Dec-2019
Jean Smart and Regina King are glorious. Jeremy Irons is a fantastic beast. The creators name drop comic book fantasy without delivering it. Junk is created for the masses but art heightens its subject. Uncertainty makes the audience walk out. 09-Nov-2019
Please Like Me (2013-2016)
It handled mental health adroitly and it came to a poignantly devastating conclusion. I liked it...a lot. 25-Nov-2019
S3E10. The Christmas episode was a self-awareness revelation. 23-Nov-2019
S3E8. I understand its title, I celebrate how organically and flawed we appear and the icy intent is as sweet as a treat. They are years ahead of us because they are recording us as we live, not how we demanded it to be. 22-Nov-2019
Mamas bless it. 23-Oct-2019
We are discomforted because depictions of reality are. It's not the lab where Chris, Nicole and Hugh were created but it's where life lives. 19-Oct-2019
Raising Dion (2019-)
I delighted in Jason Ritter finally putting those asshole tics to use but the upgrade was for mama. No superhero is flying around her house until she says so! 22-Nov-2019
When mama discusses the mental incarceration of racism to a son that's becoming physically stronger, my negative comments became obliterated. The writers ventured to give us a modern mama willing to be sensitively honest with her child and equip him for life's challenges. Respect. 20-Oct-2019
A subject worth exploring in a culture historically evaded. It moves better when it tightens the reins but it's self awareness, interspersed soundtrack along with sprinkles of bleeding sap, drain it. 18-Oct-2019
