Bigelow juggled personalities and situations like a master. White House experts are tasked with securing lives when catastrophe strikes without alarming the outside world. The castmates shared a vision that usurped suspense and did well by it. The thrill becomes exhausted when the finale refuses to enact it. I understand the choice but the audience doesn't get to say goodbye to invested characters. 10-Jan-2026
The camera substituting for the presence was a great idea. It unsettles whilst causing anticipation. The household consists of interracial parents having preference for their teenage son and or daughter. The gender divide was lightly explained and suffered from awkward dialogue that did not strengthen character purpose. The scares were organic but weren't enough to create a classic horror. The presence has no I.D. It meanders slowly on repetitive angst but it doesn't get to the heart of it. It was drama. The no character close-ups put me on edge. If they would have only added them for the climax it would have jumpstarted some fear. It was curious, well acted, unique and experimental. The ending fit. The message is sweet but the idea that adults understand what children dream of is questionable. The obsession with food is gross and teaches kids to be unkempt and nauseating. A town full of talking, walking junk food "on the street" is not a banner for hygiene or a wet dream. I'm old-fashioned. Kid stories should be thoughtful, incisive, imaginative, realistic and responsible. Teach them something they can use! Food being a big part of a child's dream wish list signifies worst things than a nightmare. The art was pleasant, the voices fit and I wasn't unnerved...much. 19-Dec-2025
Final Destination: Bloodlines (2025) 
It plowed through like a Tetris puzzle piece dropping on "expert" mode without "life saves." The 60's was fun disaster puff with repeat appeal. Mapping is what the movie is all about and it does very well concocting ways to desecrate life. The winks work better than the clues. Audience involvement is half the fun and fooling us is even better. Tony Todd acted with his last breath and anointed himself the ultimate Candyman. 02-Aug-2025
I understand that art speeds up because the present brain is scanning faster than usual but art should teach them to containl it. Relax. The buffoonery was too much. It was immature and condescending to adults. Girl interaction was a high point. Music didn't suck with some being better than others. I think there were too many. How about establishing more of the girls' purpose and desires a bit more? Art is dreamy, both sexes are cool, the story is questionable and the mythology makes no sense. 21-Jul-2025
A robot awakens to monster status and Tarzan heroics in a jungle full of talking animals that offset reality. I had to disbelieve that a computer can be compassionate. (Alexa has never given anyone oral sex.) I understand that the robot programmed herself to be able to communicate with the animals but why did they have human emotions? The talking animals were a distraction for a story that represented realism. The robot could have been a human doing the right thing by an animal that only coexists for the benefit of itself. Actually, a talking animal of great power and little ally ship would have sufficed to make it cohesive. Why are those fucking animals talking to a robot instead of us? 26-May-2025
It's popcorn fun without the stomach ache or the funny taste but its easily forgotten. There isn't much to a twister film if the effects aren't ready to tackle what could happen inside one. Its parent film created the illusion that a twister was powerful because it could raise a cow. I wanted to see what a human might go through when sucked into a twister. Just because there are no witnesses doesn't mean we can't decipher one. The cast is amiable, the story keeps pumping but the science let me down. 12-Apr-2025
Being privy, I recognized the fear, hostility and rejection that most religious salespeople have to endure. Sending unseeded pleasantness to enrapt new members is messy. They recruited virgins to preach the word of god that knew nothing about psychos. The brainiac script brought "the art of conversation back. The actors were royal and I didn't know you could make appointments with "the miserable" instead of going door to door and getting raped or killed by surprise. 24-Mar-2025
It was a jolly merry Christmas movie. Daddy Johnson downplayed it and wrung emotion and hilarity out of it. Chris Evans rejected heroic valor and was cute again. JK Simmons can eat my cookies, anytime. Lucy Liu had a purpose. Krampus was impressive. Kiernan was having fun. Every hole in the story gets punched up by mini-Dwayne kickassing, his jacket, his teeth, reindeer muscle, snowmen beaching, toys, gadgets, lights, magic, witches, twinks, candies, memories, regrets and fun. Taron's face was made for panic and his feet were meant for trampling. Every time Bateman got evil I thought of Rhoda, betrayals and contracts. I may not be able to wrap my arms around the Norris anymore but I can still lick his teeth. I didn't know if to pluck Rossi's vagina mustache or smash it. It adds enough to the genre to make it interesting but it doesn't supply enough tech or empathetic reasoning to make it a classic. Ms. Fox is a royal maximizer of presence and a soulless entity suits her well. Michelle Morone made me want to go to the bathroom and jerk off to straight italian porn. Madeline Zima played a thankless role that depended solely on her likability and that's better than nothing. The movie satisfied but didn't satiate. More tech or more sex would have knocked it towards art park. No budget for more tech means they would have to physically create it. So, create it. There's more than stupidity going on here. The cast is amiable and hardworking. Britt is a misdiagnosed charmer. Prattes legs were mesmerizing, it's fun to see old witches again, Maxwell Caulfield's moment was a go daddy thing, Chad Michael Murray had the body, the robotics, enthusiasm and Farrah's hair. They derailed the "hate at first love" train and depicted how people really get together. I didn't stay for the pancakes but I waited for the bacon. Merry whatever the fucks! 25-Nov-2024
As soon as I realized the original material centered around a pet beast, my mind started to baton twirl. Thor was the title and the name of the dog. But, the movie is about a werewolf, a mother and son, or is it? Mariel Hemingway was peak star watt that carried the weight of the movie's heart. The son is there to make the dog look good. Michael Pare was a one-time specimen that carried out his mission like a rebellious animal. Romance violently exits in the first 10 minutes, a brother/sister/uncle dynamic takes its place, Thor was the best actor and the transformation didn't suck. Man vs beast has been re-re-written so they tried something else. How does a dog protect his family when uncle is the king of canines and the myth rules don't apply? 05-Nov-2024

Kathleen Beller was a momentary icon that embodied being the naive girl that falls into temptation and then gets called out for it. Princess is being stalked and nobody gives a shit. Gwyneth's twin mother, Blythe supplies enough misunderstandings to compel her child to rebel. Baby Dennis Quaid's swag was thinking he could make women cum with only his dick. The film begins post crime with warnings and horror elements woven into it but it's not that. It's a sober approach that questions why all rapists can't get convicted.
