Daddy's ready to act, pounce and revive an unwilling survivor. Movements and betrayals were triumphant. Hemsworth receives magnificent aide in battle as he abandons all pity towards his enemy and unleashes an animal that knows no bounds. The action slows enough to make us care about the characters but the action is the showcase and the director needs to make us a superhero film. People would cum web buckets or shit bats. 07-Jul-2023
Hunchback OF Notre Dame, The (1996) 
Laid out like an adult novel that kids can understand. There is no better marriage than broadway and Disney. The score may not be everlasting but it's made up of raw talent and emotion. The songs and singers soared. The animation splashed with celebratory colors while hellish fire represented its demise. Quasi is a molded adult broken by a murdered mother and a crippled body. He is adopted by the man who wronged him, controlled him and gaslit the kid to hide the monster inside of himself. The subjects are very adult. The adoptive father rules the town with sexual and racist motivation. Gypsies are taking over. The crime rate is through the roof and they are to blame. A Festival of Fools sets up the threads that make all the characters intersect for a grande finale. The monster convinces himself he can attend. A military captain has just been initiated. Esmeralda seduces all the men with her gypsy dance and her unapologetic heart. Evil master Frollo becomes obsessed with dominating her. The good men compete with each other to protect her. Everything is big, everything is right but it begged for a slow down. I know, the kiddies would've exploded in their seats but the adults might have watched it again. When pristine horror gets blood splattered, it resonates. AI has become a substitute for jobs that were once revered by the original occupant. Humans. Live shows, movies, tv, music, computers, phones, news, robots, etc. Each performance shaping the community they want to live in. M3GN has many faults but protecting a child was a built-in priority. A grieving child with no parents, structure or stability will succumb to the charms of a robot if you make her look and act like a best friend. Aunty creates M3GN and other incredibly expensive robotic toys that probably belong in a mansion. Her new invention is going to cure parenting and loneliness... moving the child farther away from a heart beat. M3GAN is a beautiful creation, maneuvered rightly, timed perfectly and a show stopper. The more M3GN claimed the child the more motherly aunty became. Flaws can be overlooked when the value of entertainment is so high. Perfectly cast and remembered. Fun as fuck! I wished she had killed more. As long as creator and monster are liable, human parenting will diminish. I am one of those children. My mother's name was television. Spielberg shares his origins with humor, movie magic and insight. Michelle Williams stands out as a Tinkerbell mom who needs to live out a fairy dust life. The kids are natural. The cast members embraced their profession and delivered. Steven created a nice flow. It is only when you get to the end that you appreciate what transpired. 07-Mar-2023
Smart character setup and fear causation. Bill Skarsgard is hypnotic as a clown and himself. I'm impressed how he balances his native language with english. Matthew Patrick played a hideous mother, hideously. Georgina Campbell conveyed what we were thinking. Justin Long adds adult anxiety, teenage WGAF attitude and a boy rendering the horror he sees. It skidded off the earth at the end. Big bad doesn't have to be preposterous. The simpler the monster the better the explanation, the more we shiver. This only happens to one person every 100 years. Last Woman On Earth, The (1960)
While on a scuba diving expedition in Puerto Rico a newly married couple and their lawyer end up the last humans on earth when they resurface. They survive and explain the cause through the progression of the environment and by applying science to their observations. Words were in tune with how a woman might feel being the last one. The men went caveman because the lawyer has needs and his boss' wife was the only relief. I kept feeling the script would have had more depth had it not been costly. Wife is a newlywed who lusts to spend more time with her gangster husband. Lawyer is a do-gooder schmuck whose tired of being manipulated by sore losers. Every time the story filled in a hole the director cut away to something exotic. They hardly pondered whether, as last adults, they were worthy enough to replenish the earth. Wife's legs dangling from atop the boat, the men fish-slapping each other, the atmosphere (Puerto Ricans in 1960), the woman's hair turning from blonde to black and jitter acting that enunciates realness, were shots I will remember.

A woman moving in with a man must turn the home into a dollhouse in order to make her feel like she owns it. She owns him as much as he thinks he owns her, but a toy is the only home she will ever get to own. The cast played it without pity, the story excelled as it moved, even though status has changed, emotions remain the same and Jane Fonda flexed some beautiful muscles. Freedom comes after you stop lying to yourself. A real Christmas story. 17-Oct-2022
It's faithful to the psychology of its origins, someone brilliantly decided the actors should play characters instead of costumed heroes and its presentation feels like a team Burton aside. I would trade two investigators for a Krave The Hunter, a Blade or Felicia Hardy/Black Cat to up the flavor and sensuality. An MCU R-rated Batman opportunity best not lost. 13-Sep-2022
It depicts our shortcomings in a sanitized environment. There is no outside telling us we suck so we are in a safe space. It paced itself naturally as not to impose. The cast was pleasantly supportive. The writing pondered some truth but resolved most of it with prom com magic. My Fire Island experience was rated XXX for rampant sex, sissy violence and "fuck you" friends. Family Shmamily. 05-Jun-2022
Individual dreams are sacrificed for family. A portrait of a Korean family starting anew in an Arkansas dump. Daddy has a farm dream. Mommy needs to feed her two children. A princess and a baby boy dearest. Grandma joins them later. Youn Yuh-jung is not a typical grandmother. She can't cook, not even cookies, smells like Korea but is free-spirited and loves to hug grandchildren. The borne Americans are vacant and unidentifiable. Will Patton's performance irked. He unleashed like Jim Carrey mocking the film he's in. Mom and dad never ignite but baby boy and grandma shook the hell out of a spice jar. 08-Oct-2021
Alpha daddy is acting bonkers. He's disillusioned with his wife, can't communicate with his daughter and is suicidal. He drives his car into a truck, gets a better face, detaches from life and gets a second chance to make the same mistakes. Faye Dunaway was beautifully confident as the office slut that could reduce a happily married daddy to mush and make him pay for it. Deborah Kerr exposed her soul and sexuality as a wife waiting for a man that's never going to be there. Kirk Douglas roars as a man obsessed with orgasms and baby smells. Elia Kazan opened up as a director and tried new things (good and bad). It is a detailed examination of how love, sex, beauty and insanity correlate. 13-Sep-2021
Half-breed cowgirl can't reclaim her inheritance unless she marries. The lady wields it, cracks it and entangles it around a very pretty cowboy that she sets up to hang unless he marries her. The bullwhip is a symbol and not really part of the act. Woman betrays cowboy. Cowboy resolves that a lesson must be taught. Lady with a whip refuses to be slave to any man. She is a man. Cowboy is smitten with her fierceness but ruffled by her lack of heart. The best way to shut a woman down is with life lessons. A woman counters by being more of a woman. Cowboy gets mushy but remains tough as heinous crimes are rewritten. It's B-grade candy, flavored by Rhonda Fleming luminescence and Guy Madison heart thumps. It preferred fistfights to guns which begat a stuntman showcase. 14-Aug-2021
What are the lengths an untouched teen queen and a rebel rouser go to have sex without guilt? Get married? The parents are as excited of their proposal as invited homophobic family members are to go to a gay wedding. The movie/man obsesses whether they should have sex anyway since they're going to be together forever. The angst of a girl clinging to a specialty that means nothing to the man she's giving it to, is ridiculous. Just have it, already! Sex is just another addiction in life, like pooping. It was interesting to watch a baby Dean Stockwell preen like James Dean and Barbara Billingsley do the mama thing she does so well but the movie is about nothing. 13-Jun-2021
Ten years have passed since her husband's death. The widow has moved on and is celebrating her engagement to a new beau when it's disrupted by an unnerving 10 year old who shows up and claims he is the spirit of her dead husband. His presence causes family uproar as they try to unmask a poverty-stricken child in love with Lady Nic that claims she shouldn't re-marry. The boy's unflinching demeanor is squirmy as Nic's is artistic. The director shot a continuous pan of Lady Nic giving beautiful stoic face but didn't clinch it with an ironic exclamation. He tried the same trick with the boy on the bench but the boy couldn't sit still. Lauren Bacall established herself. Danny Huston spoke for everyone as the jinxed and insecure groom who wanted to bash "returned husband's" brains out. Lady Nic doesn't unfurl until the end but it's strong. When Anne Heche blew up she exploded fantastically. If someone claims to be a lost loved one, you have to listen, even if it's ludicrous. 03-Jun-2021
Shuttered young woman accepts a job caring for a very well established family. Wife is made of plastic things and pregnant with twins. She believes her silent brute won't cheat on her because she's the perfect wife having miracle twins. "A man does not cheat on perfection." That is her motto and her curse. The eldest child is a delightful package. She is brave to say what's on her mind and sorry if it offends. A matriarch of servitude is the expert of the house, teaching the young woman how back breaking and useless it is making rich people happy. She is Mrs. Danvers, respectfully. Plotting, conniving, avenging, infiltrating and non-stop hurting to become like part of the family. Daddy is a self-absorbed god. Maid is a sexual magnet. An imperfect powerless naif to be completely his. The mother of the house is an awesome witch ready to set fire to anything that brings shame to their name. The scandal turns ingratiating maid into a hostile. The women cancel her for breaching family code... " you don't steal sperm from family gods that you are serving without asking the women first.
