Quit Lying to Yourself
No one wants to be seen as a liar. Liars are considered untrustworthy at best and immoral at worst. For example, your co-worker might choose to think that her last promotion was entirely a consequence of her excellent work; others might notice that she is also the boss’s niece.
The French existentialist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre saw all self-deception, no matter how mild, as a form of what he called “bad faith”: an unwillingness to discover our essence as conscious beings and take true responsibility for ourselves.

LGBTQ newspaper publisher proclaims “no one gives a hoot” about “woke” gender identity
“There is no place in school where this should be,” Montemer wrote in a comment from his Facebook page, “… In the real world, no one gives a hoot about your gender identity. Woke kids equal soft kids which equal soft adults.”
Montemer further said that it’s not “a teacher’s place to let kids in middle school decide anything without [their] parents” and that he “hopes this changes in the right direction before my kids get there.”

Gender reveal parties are harmful in so many ways – why do we treat them as quirky?
Gender reveal parties are a form of domestic terrorism
One dead grandmother-to-be. A downed plane. An incinerated car. Several terrifying explosions. An altercation at Applebee’s. A massive wildfire that burned 47,000 acres of Arizona forest and resulted in an estimated $8m worth of damage.
All that’s just a small snapshot of the manslaughter and mayhem unleashed by gender reveal parties over the last couple of years. And that’s before you factor in the latest nightmare ignited by the terrible trend: the El Dorado fire in California. The fire, which was caused by a “smoke-generating pyrotechnic device” set off at a gender reveal party, has burned more than 13,000 acres of forest so far and prompted the evacuation of 3,000 residents.
It’s worth pausing here for a moment to fully absorb the fact that, as well as resulting in a woman’s death, gender reveal parties have destroyed at least 60,000 acres of land in the last three years. (To put this in perspective, the area of Manhattan is around 14,600 acres.) We all know that the police are fond of a bit of profiling; based on these statistics alone they ought to be implementing stop-and-frisk tactics on all heterosexual couples who come within five miles of a heavily wooded area. If the woman’s got a baby bump and the man’s got a dad bod then law enforcement should search them for explosives, stat.

SCHILLING: ‘Gender Identity’ Has No Place in Medicine
The problem is obvious: “gender identity” has no basis in physical reality. It is impossible for a doctor to tell from simply examining a patient what his or her (or hir or zir) “gender identity” is. A person’s “gender identity” is totally subjective and has no connection to one’s physical body.
However, health care is very much connected to the physical body. Whether one is biologically male or female makes a great deal of difference in how one ought to be treated — from finding the right medicine dosages to judging the risks of getting certain diseases. To place “gender identity” above biological sex would be to ask medical professionals to ignore their education and their training and instead operate solely on what a patient believes to be true — a dangerous idea if there ever was one.

Peru, Panama Limit Movement By Gender In Bid To Slow The Coronavirus
Across the world, officials have been desperately adopting sweeping measures in a bid to keep people separated and the coronavirus at bay. But even among the wide range tried so far, one attempted solution in Peru and Panama has proven unusual: Officials in both countries have begun to limit their residents' movement by gender — with men only allowed to leave the home on some days and women on others.
"We have to get fewer people on the streets every day," Peruvian President Martín Vizcarra explained in comments to his Cabinet ministers Thursday.
So until at least April 12, the country's police and security forces are enforcing a new regulation: Men can leave their homes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with an ID, while women can do so on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On Sundays, meanwhile, the stay-at-home order applies to everyone.

The tyranny of woke: How it's fashionable in modern Britain to believe there's no difference between men and women
Imagine a group of time travellers transported from the 1950s to today. The way the world has changed would astonish them.
They would marvel at the technological innovations which have transformed our lives. And they would be amazed by the material prosperity enjoyed by so many.
But they would also be surprised at how much of the old moral framework they knew had disappeared.
For example, they would be startled to learn of the soaring divorce rate and the massive increase in every kind of crime.
They might also be taken aback to find out how obsessed with sex Western society has become.
But of all the changes, nothing would puzzle them more than the preoccupation with what is now known as ‘gender’.
On discovering it was now fashionable to believe that, psychologically and biologically, there is no difference between men and women, our time travellers would stare in open-mouthed disbelief.
Although they would see males and females looking as different from each other as ever – with most people pushing baby buggies being recognisably female and most construction workers recognisably male – were they really to believe these differences were not rooted in nature, but were all just a ‘social construct’, the result of ‘gender stereotyping’?
