Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) 
Taylor-Joy shared her thoughts by creating a narrative we could understand, sparkling eyes wasn't given enough artillery to establish a heartfelt character that could pump the breaks and let you feel, Hemsworth establishes that his Thor-type villain is not to be fucked with, the director's vision infected the tech crew. They lived up to expectations. Action sequences were bombastic and artistic. The war scenes confused but they didn't disappoint. The mythology skipped key details that would have granted an Anna/Charlize showdown. I needed more information to explain how a girl succeeds in a filthy society that wants to purge. (I would have made little and middle Furiosa big Furiosa's daughters and have one of her instant love interests be the questionable father.) The team-up would be awesome. There wasn't enough odyssey to landscape the people but it sure looked great. 24-Aug-2024
Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes (2024) 
Some of the mythological addendums are making me question my perception of its meaning. The path for everyone is bleak and backwards. What happened to the apes that weren't kept in cages and ran free, sometimes with humans? They must have another view. Wouldn't other countries have different ways of dealing with superior apes because of how many tribes worship them? The apes haven't accomplished much. Most still stutter, they haven't learned anything about spices or cooking and they spend all their free time collecting birds. The humans are kept in the shadows, with little speak and subservient representation. It's one-sided, it thinks it's fair but give us minimum time to explain. It would have been epic to parallel human hope against animal survival. We have to apologize for being god's descendant. In the real world we would have blasted every single one of them and sold their meat on sale at Wally World. When Lady Echo said she was searching for a book that would teach all humans to talk I thought she was talking about the bible. That would have been most likely. Humans didn't save any worthy technology, like I-Phones? This movie says we suck. The movie brought cinema magic and bewilderment, technological elegance, story of interest and the golden touch of a director. My feelings differ from my enjoyment. 12-Aug-2024
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024) 
This should have been Barbie's accompaniment. Pink was all over the place and it was the worst case scenario for one of Oppenheimer's lunacies. The humans didn't fair. Hottle outgrew her innocent adorability and couldn't fake it. Dan Stevens never entered the time machine that I sent him. It was to the Abbey so he could find his star watt. Dude used to make ladies melt and men cry. His adaptation of Chris Pratt from Guardians was cartoonish. Even the originator doesn't know where that fucker is. Brian Tyree Henry played a bug-eyed everyday black person spooked by anything except guns. Rebecca Hall's character remained vanilla and pushed aside. The animal kingdom was magical, naturalistic and smelling like planet of the apes. I dig that Karen Black chick. A Kardashian rules the top of the world and Kong's home is the center. Rappers are attacking them. It's an artistic success even though it's fueled by too much human interruption. 09-Jul-2024
Austin Butler looked better than he sounded. He used the fake voice most employees imitate when they are calling in sick. Florence Pugh was lost in a maze with no destination or exit in sight. Chalamet looked good doing what was expected. Zendaya sparkled and brought emotions forward. Javier Bardem stole acting honors by not letting his character stumble and being action relief. Denis Villeneuve mapped the film majestically and proved there are prettier things than TC. Story wrapped so it can move on. Well done. 04-Jun-2024

Powerhouse acting, words on defense and beauty on blast. It was a poem about life. Fighting for faith is not the same as fighting for yourself. Freedom depends on that acknowledgment. Cosmo Jarvis had Ryan Phillippe looks and a great butt but he didn't need them. His eyes sparkled with information and coquetry. His voice, manly and protective. His gestures great and small. He also supplied some of the funniest bits. Hiroyuki Sanada was kingly. He cast vibrations just being. The writers understood that Anna Sawai was representing historical heritage. They made sure that her empowerment was befitting to her surroundings and that she apply it. Boy, did she ever. Suffering makes a hero, conviction makes a fighter and death equals longevity. Michael Apted takes a serious and realistic approach to the venomous step-parents that single parents bring home because they're lonely. Terri Garr adds manic depression to a woman whose future options are crumbling. She latches on to leeches that pay her false attention. The brothers do a great job of conveying how invasive "new dad" feels at different stages of a boy's life. Real dad is fucking twinksies and getting them pregnant so he can replace them. Peter Weller's lips were artistically meant for masks and unmentionable things. Unmasked he's hair, eyes, hips and wickedly intimidating. He dispenses sexual tension and satisfaction whenever he punishes the boys. Scary uncle syndrome. Baby Corey was the younger brother whose life as a victim made him stronger than he thought. Baby Jessica Parker aced acting classes but failed the fashion academy. I don't know if Baby Downey Jr.'s character was supposed to be gay. If they intimated it I missed it. Giving daddy playtime with his child, established some warmth and empathy. The baby was very cute. The film went to business as usual. A virtual voyage under the sea with endless imagination to see. The support returns 3 points better. They let their hair down enough to sound human, alert and fun. The funny is subtle and it works. The film felt grounded and closer to earth. The cliches were not hammered. The screws couldn't make it through because the wood kept splintering. A place I didn't need to be but was a pleasure to visit. Jason Momoa is Aquaman. 29-Feb-2024
Actors can imitate, shadow or channel. The spirit of Griselda settled methodically into Sofia's lap and guided her. Sofia sent Sofia packing to become a woman with big ideas, deadly fallouts and constant misery. Sofia adds sexy beast to a woman who suffered for her imperfections. The woman who bested men used them for protection. The males were war and sex machines for the women who freed themselves from prostitution to commit worst crimes whilst using men as shields. The series served enough tension and thought-provoking arguments to whiz by without losing it's magic. Sofia was gangbang great. I never saw Sofia. I saw a 3D character. She stymied her accent and enunciated. She rocked fashion you can feel. She kicked ass like she's done it. Her attack dog was a beautiful thing and the support were menacingly good. Sweetness and beauty interrupted by elemental disbelief. Ember only sets fire to certain things. The fire family moved to a town that operated like a water park. What happens when it rains? Fire affects rain and humidity. One of the fire people should have died in the flood. What are their clothes made of? Ember was lead on a floaty at Ripple's family water house and it didn't melt, pop or make her drown. It's a very nice movie that chose not to teach children a studied lesson. 03-Feb-2024
Gunslinger makes a rest stop in a town with soft men and untrained women. Bandits have overpowered the town and laid police to rest. The men can't find the balls to fight back. When the stranger proves himself a survivor, the town convinces him to be their savior. The savior lacks adequate morals but he's kind to minorities and is rapey to women (that's how people flirted then.) He'll fight the enemy and them too. The action is a natural CGI-less wonder. I believe this was how life was and it appeared it. A great modern cowboy defined by the people who experienced him. The cowboy was a unique quip master with a ton of hilarious scenes. The women exerted their power and were heard. Little man was a sweet sidekick. A rousing blockbuster. 14-Jan-2024
Transformers: Rise Of The Beast (2023) 
I did not invest in the toy as a baby but I recognized the maximals. A Galactus storyline without a shake-up but a re-do. Mr. Ramos didn't calculate a silly side that would make him empathetic and fun. He was too hot to be so serious. The bots are everything. Barbies can't function like bots unless they turn purple. Pete Davison was convincing and sorta funny as a typical black dude with gay bot tendencies.. 07-Jan-2024
Rebel Moon: A Child On Fire (2023)
The handsomest director in Hollywood makes a movie of wonder. It's a what if Star Wars account of what a boy imagines. The movie is crisp and lighting glows with clarification. He brought all the elements but kept it, mostly western. The effects glide, Anthony Hopkins is a beautiful thing, Djimon Hinsou wowed in a semi birthday suit, the alpha bodies were to die for, the story never strayed from its path and the action sequences held. Unfortunately, our heroine was flat, unsympathetic and a cold lesbian killing machine. It was realistic to see a man kick the shit out of a woman, threaten rapes of virgins and pretty straight boys and for races to exist as different societies. Snyder recreates scenarios oft repeated and makes them look bright but not all the senses can see. 23-Dec-2023
